Što je barilo, odnosno kolo od barila vjerojatno je nepoznato većini stanovnika današnjeg Splita. Za one koji ne znaju barilo je bačva, a kolo je metalni obruč koji je poprečno steže.

Kola od barila, pa i samo barilo, bačvicu, najviše je i najbolje opjevao veliki pjesnik Splita i Dalmacije, ali i svijeta kao takvog, Toma Bebić. Barilo Toma spominje u barem dvije svoje antologijske pjsme. U "Leutu" počinje direkt u glavu: "Rastočija si se, ka barilo, leute moj"... A u raspjevanoj "Kaleti" Toma kaže da je niz nju vozija karet na balinjere, a uz nju gura kolo od barila.

I nekoliko takvih opjevanih kola o‘ barila nepoznat netko jučer je odložio pokraj jednog kontejnera u Splitu. I za razliku od većine ostalih stvari koje završe na tome mjestu i bivaju brzo odnesene, kola od barila ostala su stajati.

Što s njima čovjek danas da radi? Jedva gura uzbrdo i bez kola od barila, a osim toga i ne zna ga gurati. Zaboravljena je i vrtnja hulahopa oko struka, za što bi kolo od barila moglo poslužiti. Nema više vina ni bačava jer na cijelom nekadašanjem velikom splitskom polju danas se vjerojatno ne proizvede ni kap vina. Dica se više i ne igraju na ulicama ni s novim ni sa starim igračkama, a koliko znamo još nitko nije napravio videoigricu s guranjem kola od barila uz ulicu.

Tako su kola od barila koja je odložio netko od starih vinara ili njihovih nasljednika ostala neprepoznata. Ka sivac u onoj Tominoj pismi: "Evo su niki dan i njegovu lipost razotkrili". Tu tu, vrag mu piz odnija!

Što je barilo, odnosno kolo od barila vjerojatno je nepoznato većini stanovnika današnjeg Splita. Za one koji ne znaju barilo je bačva, a kolo je metalni obruč koji je poprečno steže.

Kola od barila, pa i samo barilo, bačvicu, najviše je i najbolje opjevao veliki pjesnik Splita i Dalmacije, ali i svijeta kao takvog, Toma Bebić. Barilo Toma spominje u barem dvije svoje antologijske pjsme. U "Leutu" počinje direkt u glavu: "Rastočija si se, ka barilo, leute moj"... A u raspjevanoj "Kaleti" Toma kaže da je niz nju vozija karet na balinjere, a uz nju gura kolo od barila.

I nekoliko takvih opjevanih kola o‘ barila nepoznat netko jučer je odložio pokraj jednog kontejnera u Splitu. I za razliku od većine ostalih stvari koje završe na tome mjestu i bivaju brzo odnesene, kola od barila ostala su stajati.

Što s njima čovjek danas da radi? Jedva gura uzbrdo i bez kola od barila, a osim toga i ne zna ga gurati. Zaboravljena je i vrtnja hulahopa oko struka, za što bi kolo od barila moglo poslužiti. Nema više vina ni bačava jer na cijelom nekadašanjem velikom splitskom polju danas se vjerojatno ne proizvede ni kap vina. Dica se više i ne igraju na ulicama ni s novim ni sa starim igračkama, a koliko znamo još nitko nije napravio videoigricu s guranjem kola od barila uz ulicu.

Tako su kola od barila koja je odložio netko od starih vinara ili njihovih nasljednika ostala neprepoznata. Ka sivac u onoj Tominoj pismi: "Evo su niki dan i njegovu lipost razotkrili". Tu tu, vrag mu piz odnija!
