Nakon jučerašnjeg stravičnog ubojstva žene u trgovačkom centru na Poljičkoj cesti, reagirala je Eleonora Mandić, potpredsjednica SDP-a Split koja je uputila apel kako je potrebno prikladno sklonište za žene - žrtve nasilja kao i Građanski odgoj u splitskim školama.

Istaknula je kako smo samo nekoliko dana nakon Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv nasilja nad ženama svjedoci brutalnog ubojstva žene od strane bivšeg partnera i to na njezinom radnom mjestu. Kao potpredsjednica SDP-a Split i kotarska vijećnica iz Splita 3 na čijem se području i dogodio ovaj podmukli zločin istaknula je da je zgrožena sam nad ovim činom nasilja.

- Nasilje nad ženama najrašireniji je oblik ugrožavanja temeljnih ljudskih prava, a najvažnije od tih prava je pravo na život. Obitelj bi trebala biti kamen temeljac društva, ali istovremeno može biti jedno od najopasnijih mjesta za život. Većina nasilja u obitelji je i dalje nevidljiva, skrivena i događa se unutar četiri zida. Veliki broj žena prisiljen je šutjeti, zbog socijalnih ili nekih drugih razloga.

U zadnjih godinu dana u razdoblju borbe protiv epidemije COVID-19, prema službenim podacima MUP-a evidentirano je 40 posto više prijava za obiteljsko nasilje u cijeloj zemlji, a na području Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske čak 45 posto više. Ovo je ozbiljan problem u našem društvu. Ratificirali smo Istanbulsku konvenciju koja govori o različitim oblicima nasilja nad ženama i djevojčicama. Koliko je ona mrtvo slovo na papiru dokazuje broj ubijenih žena u zadnje dvije godine - naglasila je Mandić koja smatra da država ne koristi sve resurse koje ima na raspolaganju u zaštiti žena, ali i u prevenciji nasilja nad ženama.

Svi mi imamo odgovornost prijaviti nasilje. Tako možemo spasiti nečiji život. U Hrvatskoj trenutno djeluje samo 25 skloništa za žrtve nasilja - ovo je porazna brojka! - navela je potpredsjednica SDP-a Split koju frustrira činjenica da u Splitu imaju samo Caritasovo sklonište za žrtve nasilja gdje ima samo mjesta za 12 osoba.

- Iako su nam skloništa prijeko potrebna, smatram da je to samo „gašenje požara“ te da je za rješavanje ovoga problema prijeko potrebno cijelo društvo učiniti osjetljivijim na taj problem. Prvi korak je uvođenje Građanskog odgoja u splitske i sve hrvatske škole, zbog toga što o toleranciji i rješavanju svih problema bez nasilja trebamo učiti od najranije dobi kako bi se protokom vremena nasilje nad ženama potpuno iskorijenilo a ne raslo kao što je sada slučaj - poentirala je Eleonora Mandić.

Nakon jučerašnjeg stravičnog ubojstva žene u trgovačkom centru na Poljičkoj cesti, reagirala je Eleonora Mandić, potpredsjednica SDP-a Split koja je uputila apel kako je potrebno prikladno sklonište za žene - žrtve nasilja kao i Građanski odgoj u splitskim školama.

Istaknula je kako smo samo nekoliko dana nakon Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv nasilja nad ženama svjedoci brutalnog ubojstva žene od strane bivšeg partnera i to na njezinom radnom mjestu. Kao potpredsjednica SDP-a Split i kotarska vijećnica iz Splita 3 na čijem se području i dogodio ovaj podmukli zločin istaknula je da je zgrožena sam nad ovim činom nasilja.

- Nasilje nad ženama najrašireniji je oblik ugrožavanja temeljnih ljudskih prava, a najvažnije od tih prava je pravo na život. Obitelj bi trebala biti kamen temeljac društva, ali istovremeno može biti jedno od najopasnijih mjesta za život. Većina nasilja u obitelji je i dalje nevidljiva, skrivena i događa se unutar četiri zida. Veliki broj žena prisiljen je šutjeti, zbog socijalnih ili nekih drugih razloga.

U zadnjih godinu dana u razdoblju borbe protiv epidemije COVID-19, prema službenim podacima MUP-a evidentirano je 40 posto više prijava za obiteljsko nasilje u cijeloj zemlji, a na području Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske čak 45 posto više. Ovo je ozbiljan problem u našem društvu. Ratificirali smo Istanbulsku konvenciju koja govori o različitim oblicima nasilja nad ženama i djevojčicama. Koliko je ona mrtvo slovo na papiru dokazuje broj ubijenih žena u zadnje dvije godine - naglasila je Mandić koja smatra da država ne koristi sve resurse koje ima na raspolaganju u zaštiti žena, ali i u prevenciji nasilja nad ženama.

Svi mi imamo odgovornost prijaviti nasilje. Tako možemo spasiti nečiji život. U Hrvatskoj trenutno djeluje samo 25 skloništa za žrtve nasilja - ovo je porazna brojka! - navela je potpredsjednica SDP-a Split koju frustrira činjenica da u Splitu imaju samo Caritasovo sklonište za žrtve nasilja gdje ima samo mjesta za 12 osoba.

- Iako su nam skloništa prijeko potrebna, smatram da je to samo „gašenje požara“ te da je za rješavanje ovoga problema prijeko potrebno cijelo društvo učiniti osjetljivijim na taj problem. Prvi korak je uvođenje Građanskog odgoja u splitske i sve hrvatske škole, zbog toga što o toleranciji i rješavanju svih problema bez nasilja trebamo učiti od najranije dobi kako bi se protokom vremena nasilje nad ženama potpuno iskorijenilo a ne raslo kao što je sada slučaj - poentirala je Eleonora Mandić.

Nakon jučerašnjeg stravičnog ubojstva žene u trgovačkom centru na Poljičkoj cesti, reagirala je Eleonora Mandić, potpredsjednica SDP-a Split koja je uputila apel kako je potrebno prikladno sklonište za žene - žrtve nasilja kao i Građanski odgoj u splitskim školama.

Istaknula je kako smo samo nekoliko dana nakon Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv nasilja nad ženama svjedoci brutalnog ubojstva žene od strane bivšeg partnera i to na njezinom radnom mjestu. Kao potpredsjednica SDP-a Split i kotarska vijećnica iz Splita 3 na čijem se području i dogodio ovaj podmukli zločin istaknula je da je zgrožena sam nad ovim činom nasilja.

- Nasilje nad ženama najrašireniji je oblik ugrožavanja temeljnih ljudskih prava, a najvažnije od tih prava je pravo na život. Obitelj bi trebala biti...
