Kandidatkinja za gradonačelnicu Kristina Vidan i vodstvo stranke Pametno za Split i Dalmaciju, danas se osvrnulo na negativne posljedice koje bi izmještanje dijela prometa iz postojeće trajektne luke u Sjevernu luku moglo imati na Splićane i otočane.

- Rekonstrukcija i proširenje Sjeverne luke na području Vranjičko-solinskog bazena koje je u nadležnosti Lučke uprave Split, strateški je investicijski projekt Vlade Republike Hrvatske, a koji bi trebao rasteretiti gužve u trajektnoj luci.

Ipak, ovaj projekt ima i negativnu stranu koja u nezavidan položaj dovodi one koji žive u Splitu, a gravitiraju prema otocima i obrnuto.

- Iako na prvu rasterećenje gužvi i usmjeravanje kamiona u trajektnu luku zvuči lijepo, činjenica je da mi nemamo trajekte samo za kamione i automobile, već trajekte koji prevoze kamione, automobile i putnike. Osim dva mjeseca u godini kada svjedočimo gužvama, ostalih deset mjeseci u kojima Splićani i otočani redovito koriste trajektne linije, premještaj dijela tih linija u Sjevernu luku negativno bi utjecao na dnevne migracije lokalnog stanovništva u oba smjera - kazala je Kristina Vidan.

Put od Splita do obližnjih otoka produžiti će se za više od pola sata, što nije zanemarivo, naglasili su iz stranke Pametno.

- Brač, Šolta, Hvar i Vis zbog svoje blizine i socioekonomske povezanosti funkcioniraju i sada kao udaljeni dijelovi Splita. Zbog toga Grad mora snažnije raditi kroz sve dostupne mehanizme kako bi se potaknuo kontroliran i održivi razvoj obližnjih otoka. Uključivanje otoka u teritorijalni obuhvat urbane aglomeracije te inzistiranje na zadržavanju ovog nivoa putničkog prometa u gradskoj trajektnoj luci, samo su neki od koraka koje bi Split morao napraviti kako bi time dugoročno dobio kvalitetan životni prostor za život, rad ili barem povremeni boravak svih građana splitske aglomeracije - kazala je Mariana Bucat.

Iz stranke Pametno za Split i Dalmaciju ističu da je ponovni rast cijena karata u ljetnom voznom periodu, koji se svake godine događa, a ove godine zbog poskupljenja je došao i ranije, još jedan od poteza koji udaljava domaće putnike od odlaska na otoke.

Kandidatkinja za gradonačelnicu Kristina Vidan i vodstvo stranke Pametno za Split i Dalmaciju, danas se osvrnulo na negativne posljedice koje bi izmještanje dijela prometa iz postojeće trajektne luke u Sjevernu luku moglo imati na Splićane i otočane.

- Rekonstrukcija i proširenje Sjeverne luke na području Vranjičko-solinskog bazena koje je u nadležnosti Lučke uprave Split, strateški je investicijski projekt Vlade Republike Hrvatske, a koji bi trebao rasteretiti gužve u trajektnoj luci.

Ipak, ovaj projekt ima i negativnu stranu koja u nezavidan položaj dovodi one koji žive u Splitu, a gravitiraju prema otocima i obrnuto.

- Iako na prvu rasterećenje gužvi i usmjeravanje kamiona u trajektnu luku zvuči lijepo, činjenica je da mi nemamo trajekte samo za kamione i automobile, već trajekte koji prevoze kamione, automobile i putnike. Osim dva mjeseca u godini kada svjedočimo gužvama, ostalih deset mjeseci u kojima Splićani i otočani redovito koriste trajektne linije, premještaj dijela tih linija u Sjevernu luku negativno bi utjecao na dnevne migracije lokalnog stanovništva u oba smjera - kazala je Kristina Vidan.

Put od Splita do obližnjih otoka produžiti će se za više od pola sata, što nije zanemarivo, naglasili su iz stranke Pametno.

- Brač, Šolta, Hvar i Vis zbog svoje blizine i socioekonomske povezanosti funkcioniraju i sada kao udaljeni dijelovi Splita. Zbog toga Grad mora snažnije raditi kroz sve dostupne mehanizme kako bi se potaknuo kontroliran i održivi razvoj obližnjih otoka. Uključivanje otoka u teritorijalni obuhvat urbane aglomeracije te inzistiranje na zadržavanju ovog nivoa putničkog prometa u gradskoj trajektnoj luci, samo su neki od koraka koje bi Split morao napraviti kako bi time dugoročno dobio kvalitetan životni prostor za život, rad ili barem povremeni boravak svih građana splitske aglomeracije - kazala je Mariana Bucat.

Iz stranke Pametno za Split i Dalmaciju ističu da je ponovni rast cijena karata u ljetnom voznom periodu, koji se svake godine događa, a ove godine zbog poskupljenja je došao i ranije, još jedan od poteza koji udaljava domaće putnike od odlaska na otoke.
