Teško je steći dojam koliko je stranih radnika u Splitu budući da su raspoređeni u dućanima, na gradilištima ili u prometu radeći kao dostavljači, no onaj tko se u jutarnjim satima zatekao u Ulici Domovinskog rata, na trenutak bi se mogao zbuniti misleći da se nalazi - u Indiji.

U ponedjeljak se ispred ambulante Medicine rada dr. Milene Matulić okupilo barem 30 Indijaca kako bi obavili liječnički pregled nužan za izdavanje radne dozvole.

Prema informacijama iz PU splitsko-dalmatinske, do listopada na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije izdano je 14.629 dozvola za boravak i rad što je ekvivalentno gradu Omišu s 14 tisuća stanovnika. Najveći broj dozvola izdan je za državljane Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Sjeverne Makedonije, Nepala i Indije.

- U Split smo stigli 29. studenoga, a sad čekamo medicinski pregled kako bismo mogli raditi u firmi "Brodosplit". Naš nam poslodavac plaća pregled vida, sluha i ostalo, a kad dobijemo radnu dozvolu, imamo pravo na državnog doktora u slučaju da nam zatreba - rekao nam je Shanavas na svom skromnom engleskom.

Indijskim naglaskom objasnili su nam kako im je poslodavac osigurao i smještaj. 

- Živimo unutar "Brodosplita", a plaća nam je minimalac, 800 eura mjesečno - kaže Akash te dodaje kako smatra da je u Splitu skupo, ali ipak mu je grad "very cool". 

Njegovo zapažanje oko troškova potvrdila je u stranica Numbeo, najveća svjetska baza podataka o troškovima života.

Prema statistici, potrošačke cijene u Splitu su 79,1 posto više nego u indijskom Delhiju bez stanarine, dok su sa stanarinom 84,4 posto više. Cijene restorana su u Splitu 101,6 posto skuplje nego u Indiji, dok su troškovi namirnica u dućanu 71,5 posto viši. 

Jedan indijski rupi iznosi 0,011 eur, a ovi Indijci primat će mjesečno oko 71.500 rupija što nije puno veći iznos od prosječne plaće u njihovoj zemlji koja iznosi 71 tisuću rupija. 

Indijac koji se sakrio od objektiva fotoaparata rekao je kako je stigao iz grada Kothija koji je, prema popisu stanovništva iz 2001. godine, imao nešto više od 7500 stanovnika. 

Jedina informacija koju nam je rekao je da je stiglao prije desetak dana sa svojim budućim kolegama, a tu planira živjeti i raditi godinu dana. 

Gotovo da smo zaboravili da smo u Hrvatskoj kad su nam se obratila dojica lokalaca, također zaposlenici "Brodosplita". 

- Oni su ustrašeni, boje se svega i svačega. Vjerojatno su platili agenciji neki novac i sad ih je dovelo tu. Tomislav Debeljak, vlasnik brodogradilišta, ponovno je stao na noge i sad vraća stare trupe - objašnjava nam jedan od njih koji kaže kako je sad nova smjena stranih radnika. 

- Recimo, vi ste agencija, dali ste mu 100 ljudi, od toga 70 njih nije znalo raditi, 20, 30 njih nešto je i znalo. On ih mora držati do isteka ugovora, a obvezao se prema agenciji da će ih zadržati. To je moje shvaćanje... Koliko sam vidio na ovima ranije, neki se snađu, neki nemaju pojma. To je brodogradnja, kompleksan i složen posao - objašnjava jedan od dvojice domaćih radnika.

Teško je steći dojam koliko je stranih radnika u Splitu budući da su raspoređeni u dućanima, na gradilištima ili u prometu radeći kao dostavljači, no onaj tko se u jutarnjim satima zatekao u Ulici Domovinskog rata, na trenutak bi se mogao zbuniti misleći da se nalazi - u Indiji.

U ponedjeljak se ispred ambulante Medicine rada dr. Milene Matulić okupilo barem 30 Indijaca kako bi obavili liječnički pregled nužan za izdavanje radne dozvole.

Prema informacijama iz PU splitsko-dalmatinske, do listopada na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije izdano je 14.629 dozvola za boravak i rad što je ekvivalentno gradu Omišu s 14 tisuća stanovnika. Najveći broj dozvola izdan je za državljane Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Sjeverne Makedonije, Nepala i Indije.

- U Split smo stigli 29. studenoga, a sad čekamo medicinski pregled kako bismo mogli raditi u firmi "Brodosplit". Naš nam poslodavac plaća pregled vida, sluha i ostalo, a kad dobijemo radnu dozvolu, imamo pravo na državnog doktora u slučaju da nam zatreba - rekao nam je Shanavas na svom skromnom engleskom.

Indijskim naglaskom objasnili su nam kako im je poslodavac osigurao i smještaj. 

- Živimo unutar "Brodosplita", a plaća nam je minimalac, 800 eura mjesečno - kaže Akash te dodaje kako smatra da je u Splitu skupo, ali ipak mu je grad "very cool". 

Njegovo zapažanje oko troškova potvrdila je u stranica Numbeo, najveća svjetska baza podataka o troškovima života.

Prema statistici, potrošačke cijene u Splitu su 79,1 posto više nego u indijskom Delhiju bez stanarine, dok su sa stanarinom 84,4 posto više. Cijene restorana su u Splitu 101,6 posto skuplje nego u Indiji, dok su troškovi namirnica u dućanu 71,5 posto viši. 

Jedan indijski rupi iznosi 0,011 eur, a ovi Indijci primat će mjesečno oko 71.500 rupija što nije puno veći iznos od prosječne plaće u njihovoj zemlji koja iznosi 71 tisuću rupija. 

Indijac koji se sakrio od objektiva fotoaparata rekao je kako je stigao iz grada Kothija koji je, prema popisu stanovništva iz 2001. godine, imao nešto više od 7500 stanovnika. 

Jedina informacija koju nam je rekao je da je stiglao prije desetak dana sa svojim budućim kolegama, a tu planira živjeti i raditi godinu dana. 

Gotovo da smo zaboravili da smo u Hrvatskoj kad su nam se obratila dojica lokalaca, također zaposlenici "Brodosplita". 

- Oni su ustrašeni, boje se svega i svačega. Vjerojatno su platili agenciji neki novac i sad ih je dovelo tu. Tomislav Debeljak, vlasnik brodogradilišta, ponovno je stao na noge i sad vraća stare trupe - objašnjava nam jedan od njih koji kaže kako je sad nova smjena stranih radnika. 

- Recimo, vi ste agencija, dali ste mu 100 ljudi, od toga 70 njih nije znalo raditi, 20, 30 njih nešto je i znalo. On ih mora držati do isteka ugovora, a obvezao se prema agenciji da će ih zadržati. To je moje shvaćanje... Koliko sam vidio na ovima ranije, neki se snađu, neki nemaju pojma. To je brodogradnja, kompleksan i složen posao - objašnjava jedan od dvojice domaćih radnika.
