Splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak sastao se večeras s čelnim čovjekom Gradskog kotara Spinut, Lukom Kovačom Levantinom, zbog odluke Gradskog vijeća da se u njihovom kvartu organizira pretovar otpada iz centra grada.

Problem je eskalirao na izvanrednoj sjednici koja se održala u nedjelju navečer, a u ponedjeljak navečer je uslijedio sastanak predstavnika kotara s gradonačelnikom, jer građani ne odustaju od svojih zahtjeva da se taj otpad prikuplja negdje drugdje. Razgovoru u Banovini se pridružio i direktor "Čistoće" Ivica Karoglan.

- Pokušavamo odgovoriti na njihova otvorena pitanja kako bismo shvatili u čemu je problem kod toga. Grad Split mora se čistiti, naročito centar grada. Ovo je problem za nekoliko kotara, mi moramo pronaći rješenje koje se odnosi na centar grada, pogotovo u ljetnim mjesecima - kazao je Puljak i dodao kako pretovar otpada u Spinutu privremeno rješenje, dok će se trajno rješenje pronaći gradskim projektima u budućnosti.

- Ljeti se grad mora pojačano čistiti malim kamionima koji privremeno moraju ostavljati otpad na jednom mjestu, a kasnije se prevozi na Karepovac. Riječ o otpadu koji je star samo jedan dan, dakle, nema neugodnih mirisa. To su zatvoreni kontejneri, a ima ih nekoliko po cijelom gradu i nikad nije bilo niti jednog problema po tom pitanju - rekao je Puljak i pozvao građane da posjete reciklažno dvorište kako bi se uvjerili kako to izgleda “jako uredno i lijepo”.

Na pitanje o koliko je točno kontejnera riječ, kazao je da je riječ o četiri kontejnera za različite vrste otpada: papir, plastika, miješani komunalni i bio otpad. No, ako se pokaže potreba, smjestilo bi se još pres kontejnera na spornu lokaciju.

- Kako papir i plastika neće stvarati neugodne mirise, zato smo govorili o jednom ili dva kontejnera koja bi mogla izazivati nekakva pitanja. Na ta pitanja odgovaramo. Najveći je problem što su se manji kamioni zadržavali u gužvi u trajektnoj luci i po nekoliko sati ne bi čistili grad koji je bio zaista šporak. Nama je bilo neugodno odgovarati na sva pitanja građana zašto se grad ne čisti. Sad taj problem pokušavamo riješiti te smo tražili lokacije, a ovo je bila jedna koju smo pronašli -  objasnio je Ivica Puljak uz napomenu kako nije bilo lako pronaći lokaciju koja je u širem centru grada.

Čelni čovjek grada je najavio kako će na istu temu morati razgovarati s predstavnicima još nekoliko kotareva jer je riječ o problemu koji se tiče više kvartova.

- Razgovarat ćemo o različitim rješenjima da vidimo koje je najbolje za cijeli grad. U prošlosti su odluke o reciklažnim dvorištima isto tako izazivale polemike, a danas građani koji žive u blizini nemaju nikakvih primjedbi. Svjesni smo da svaka novost izaziva eventualne strahove, a mi smo tu da odgovorimo na sva pitanja koja imaju - poručio je gradonačelnik Splita.

Kako u tim trenucima sastanak još nije bio gotov, javnost će se više izvijestiti o zaključcima kada se iznesu detalji pregovora između čelnika Grada i kotara Spinut.

Splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak sastao se večeras s čelnim čovjekom Gradskog kotara Spinut, Lukom Kovačom Levantinom, zbog odluke Gradskog vijeća da se u njihovom kvartu organizira pretovar otpada iz centra grada.

Problem je eskalirao na izvanrednoj sjednici koja se održala u nedjelju navečer, a u ponedjeljak navečer je uslijedio sastanak predstavnika kotara s gradonačelnikom, jer građani ne odustaju od svojih zahtjeva da se taj otpad prikuplja negdje drugdje. Razgovoru u Banovini se pridružio i direktor "Čistoće" Ivica Karoglan.

- Pokušavamo odgovoriti na njihova otvorena pitanja kako bismo shvatili u čemu je problem kod toga. Grad Split mora se čistiti, naročito centar grada. Ovo je problem za nekoliko kotara, mi moramo pronaći rješenje koje se odnosi na centar grada, pogotovo u ljetnim mjesecima - kazao je Puljak i dodao kako pretovar otpada u Spinutu privremeno rješenje, dok će se trajno rješenje pronaći gradskim projektima u budućnosti.

- Ljeti se grad mora pojačano čistiti malim kamionima koji privremeno moraju ostavljati otpad na jednom mjestu, a kasnije se prevozi na Karepovac. Riječ o otpadu koji je star samo jedan dan, dakle, nema neugodnih mirisa. To su zatvoreni kontejneri, a ima ih nekoliko po cijelom gradu i nikad nije bilo niti jednog problema po tom pitanju - rekao je Puljak i pozvao građane da posjete reciklažno dvorište kako bi se uvjerili kako to izgleda “jako uredno i lijepo”.

Na pitanje o koliko je točno kontejnera riječ, kazao je da je riječ o četiri kontejnera za različite vrste otpada: papir, plastika, miješani komunalni i bio otpad. No, ako se pokaže potreba, smjestilo bi se još pres kontejnera na spornu lokaciju.

- Kako papir i plastika neće stvarati neugodne mirise, zato smo govorili o jednom ili dva kontejnera koja bi mogla izazivati nekakva pitanja. Na ta pitanja odgovaramo. Najveći je problem što su se manji kamioni zadržavali u gužvi u trajektnoj luci i po nekoliko sati ne bi čistili grad koji je bio zaista šporak. Nama je bilo neugodno odgovarati na sva pitanja građana zašto se grad ne čisti. Sad taj problem pokušavamo riješiti te smo tražili lokacije, a ovo je bila jedna koju smo pronašli -  objasnio je Ivica Puljak uz napomenu kako nije bilo lako pronaći lokaciju koja je u širem centru grada.

Čelni čovjek grada je najavio kako će na istu temu morati razgovarati s predstavnicima još nekoliko kotareva jer je riječ o problemu koji se tiče više kvartova.

- Razgovarat ćemo o različitim rješenjima da vidimo koje je najbolje za cijeli grad. U prošlosti su odluke o reciklažnim dvorištima isto tako izazivale polemike, a danas građani koji žive u blizini nemaju nikakvih primjedbi. Svjesni smo da svaka novost izaziva eventualne strahove, a mi smo tu da odgovorimo na sva pitanja koja imaju - poručio je gradonačelnik Splita.

Kako u tim trenucima sastanak još nije bio gotov, javnost će se više izvijestiti o zaključcima kada se iznesu detalji pregovora između čelnika Grada i kotara Spinut.
