Nedavno je kraj bolnice Križine viđena lisica kako tumara noću, a kretanje njezine vrste zabilježeno je i oko odlagališta Karepovac.Čitateljica iz Solina poslala nam je fotografiju male lasice kako se šulja oko jedne kamene kuće, a na prozor stana u Pomgradovom neboderu rado slijeće mala vjetruša, naš najmanji sokol.

Iako ovim životinjama, gradsko područje nije prirodno stanište, već smo navikli da nas rado posjete neobični gosti koji se očito, nastoje prilagoditi novonastalim uvjetima preživljavanja.

Nazvali smo poznatog biologa i ornitologa Guida Piasevolija iz Javne ustanove More i krš kojeg ove životinje nimalo ne čude u urbanom kontekstu:

- Sokol vjetruša je čest gost gradova, u Zagrebu je to primjerice, najbrojnija ptica gnjezdarica među grabežljivcima. Najmanja je to vrsta sokola, a kao i sa svim ostalim životinjama, ni ovu se ne smije remetiti u njenoj svakodnevnici - kaže nam Piasevoli.

Vjetruša je inače vješt i atraktivan letač koji može satima jedriti uz minimalne korekcije smjera krilima ili stajati na mjestu uz ubrzano treperenje krila. Ne gradi gnijezdo, već jaja polaže direktno na podlogu na izbočinama i rubovima zgrada ili koristi stara gnijezda vrana. Ako naiđete na ptičja jaja, pustite ih na miru jer mali sokolići ne mogu preživjeti bez mame. Uostalom, ove ptice zakonom su zaštićene. Inače, vjetruša se hrani miševima i voluharicama, a ukoliko njih nema lovi male ptice poput vrabaca i sjenica.

- Sve je to priroda, a mi se često čudimo tim pojavama zaboravljajući da se granica između urbanih i neurbanih dijelova odavno izbrizala razvojem urbanizacije. Tako da ni lasice nisu nikakvo čudo u gradovima iako prirodno nastanjuju livade i šumske rubove tražeći glodavce, najviše. Njih je teško primjetiti jer su okretne i brze ali one su tu odavno - kazuje nam ovaj biolog savjetujući kako ne treba prilaziti ni lasicama, kao ni ostalim životinjama.

Od svih životinja koje su nas 'okupirale' po gradu ipak su najbrojniji galebovi klaukavci koji su kao vrsta iznimno prilagodljivi.

- U velikom broju došli su u gradove u potrazi za hranom, a mi smo im je u neograničenim količinama ponudili na Karepovcu i kroz otvorene kontejnere. Sada kada se Karepovac polako zatvara, oni će tragati za hranom pa ne čudi njihov porast u gradu koji im je postao uobičajeno mjesto za razmnožavanje i savijanje gnijezda po vrhovima zgrada. Imali smo i pojavu vrana koje su se lijepo udomaćile kod nas, a s njima se prorijedio broj malih ptica pjevica...Sve je to postalo normalno jer su se vremena promijenila, baš kao i ekološki uvjeti. Svakako, pustimo životinje na miru - poručio je Piasevoli. I ne gomilajmo smeće na otvorenom, dodali bismo.

Nedavno je kraj bolnice Križine viđena lisica kako tumara noću, a kretanje njezine vrste zabilježeno je i oko odlagališta Karepovac.Čitateljica iz Solina poslala nam je fotografiju male lasice kako se šulja oko jedne kamene kuće, a na prozor stana u Pomgradovom neboderu rado slijeće mala vjetruša, naš najmanji sokol.

Iako ovim životinjama, gradsko područje nije prirodno stanište, već smo navikli da nas rado posjete neobični gosti koji se očito, nastoje prilagoditi novonastalim uvjetima preživljavanja.

Nazvali smo poznatog biologa i ornitologa Guida Piasevolija iz Javne ustanove More i krš kojeg ove životinje nimalo ne čude u urbanom kontekstu:

- Sokol vjetruša je čest gost gradova, u Zagrebu je to primjerice, najbrojnija ptica gnjezdarica među grabežljivcima. Najmanja je to vrsta sokola, a kao i sa svim ostalim životinjama, ni ovu se ne smije remetiti u njenoj svakodnevnici - kaže nam Piasevoli.

Vjetruša je inače vješt i atraktivan letač koji može satima jedriti uz minimalne korekcije smjera krilima ili stajati na mjestu uz ubrzano treperenje krila. Ne gradi gnijezdo, već jaja polaže direktno na podlogu na izbočinama i rubovima zgrada ili koristi stara gnijezda vrana. Ako naiđete na ptičja jaja, pustite ih na miru jer mali sokolići ne mogu preživjeti bez mame. Uostalom, ove ptice zakonom su zaštićene. Inače, vjetruša se hrani miševima i voluharicama, a ukoliko njih nema lovi male ptice poput vrabaca i sjenica.

- Sve je to priroda, a mi se često čudimo tim pojavama zaboravljajući da se granica između urbanih i neurbanih dijelova odavno izbrizala razvojem urbanizacije. Tako da ni lasice nisu nikakvo čudo u gradovima iako prirodno nastanjuju livade i šumske rubove tražeći glodavce, najviše. Njih je teško primjetiti jer su okretne i brze ali one su tu odavno - kazuje nam ovaj biolog savjetujući kako ne treba prilaziti ni lasicama, kao ni ostalim životinjama.

Od svih životinja koje su nas 'okupirale' po gradu ipak su najbrojniji galebovi klaukavci koji su kao vrsta iznimno prilagodljivi.

- U velikom broju došli su u gradove u potrazi za hranom, a mi smo im je u neograničenim količinama ponudili na Karepovcu i kroz otvorene kontejnere. Sada kada se Karepovac polako zatvara, oni će tragati za hranom pa ne čudi njihov porast u gradu koji im je postao uobičajeno mjesto za razmnožavanje i savijanje gnijezda po vrhovima zgrada. Imali smo i pojavu vrana koje su se lijepo udomaćile kod nas, a s njima se prorijedio broj malih ptica pjevica...Sve je to postalo normalno jer su se vremena promijenila, baš kao i ekološki uvjeti. Svakako, pustimo životinje na miru - poručio je Piasevoli. I ne gomilajmo smeće na otvorenom, dodali bismo.
