U povodu Europskog tjedna mobilnosti Branimir Urlić iz Pametnog za Split i Dalmaciju poslao je prigodno priopćenje i ukazao na probleme u Splitu.

- Europski tjedan mobilnosti se održava od 16. do 22. rujna i sastavljen je od tri komponente: tjedna aktivnosti, trajnih mjera za uvođenje održive mobilnosti (kao npr. uvođenje i/ili širenje pješačkih zona, spuštanje rubnjaka, uvođenje sustava javnih bicikala, unaprjeđenje sustava javnoga prijevoza) te "Dana bez automobila" koji se svake godine održava 22. rujna i predstavlja centralni događaj manifestacije.

Split nije među 2610 europskih gradova službeno uključen u ovu manifestaciju, već je suorganizator akcija koje provode udruge u svrhu promicanja bicikliranja. To je pohvalno, no daleko premalo za grad kojem su upravo promet i mobilnost jedan od najvećih problema s kojim se svakodnevno susreću građani i posjetitelji grada.

Gradnja novih garaža je nužna, kao i sustav javnih bicikli, ali oni neće riješiti problem efikasnosti javnog prijevoza koji treba biti okosnica održive gradske i prigradske mobilnosti kako bi korištenje automobila sveli na minimum - istaknuo je Urlić.

Navodi kako javni prijevoz u Splitu i okolici obavlja "Promet" u većinskom vlasništvu Grada, koja je u zadnje vrijeme financijski konsolidirana, te nabavkom novih autobusa modernizirana, no koja i dalje ima zastarjelu mrežu neefikasnih linija.

- Zbog toga je "Promet" izgubio oko sedam milijuna putnika u posljednjih sedam godina odnosno 20 posto ukupnog broja prevezenih putnika.

Nije tajna da je Split jedan od rijetkih gradova za koji nećete pronaći javni prijevoz na aplikaciji Google maps. Zato je vrijeme da "Promet" u suradnji s Gradom poradi na novoj mreži linija koje će omogućavati najbrže moguće i učestalo povezivanje različitih dijelova grada i koja će uvažiti potrebe različitih kategorija naših sugrađana kao i širenje grada - zaključio je Urlić

U povodu Europskog tjedna mobilnosti Branimir Urlić iz Pametnog za Split i Dalmaciju poslao je prigodno priopćenje i ukazao na probleme u Splitu.

- Europski tjedan mobilnosti se održava od 16. do 22. rujna i sastavljen je od tri komponente: tjedna aktivnosti, trajnih mjera za uvođenje održive mobilnosti (kao npr. uvođenje i/ili širenje pješačkih zona, spuštanje rubnjaka, uvođenje sustava javnih bicikala, unaprjeđenje sustava javnoga prijevoza) te "Dana bez automobila" koji se svake godine održava 22. rujna i predstavlja centralni događaj manifestacije.

Split nije među 2610 europskih gradova službeno uključen u ovu manifestaciju, već je suorganizator akcija koje provode udruge u svrhu promicanja bicikliranja. To je pohvalno, no daleko premalo za grad kojem su upravo promet i mobilnost jedan od najvećih problema s kojim se svakodnevno susreću građani i posjetitelji grada.

Gradnja novih garaža je nužna, kao i sustav javnih bicikli, ali oni neće riješiti problem efikasnosti javnog prijevoza koji treba biti okosnica održive gradske i prigradske mobilnosti kako bi korištenje automobila sveli na minimum - istaknuo je Urlić.

Navodi kako javni prijevoz u Splitu i okolici obavlja "Promet" u većinskom vlasništvu Grada, koja je u zadnje vrijeme financijski konsolidirana, te nabavkom novih autobusa modernizirana, no koja i dalje ima zastarjelu mrežu neefikasnih linija.

- Zbog toga je "Promet" izgubio oko sedam milijuna putnika u posljednjih sedam godina odnosno 20 posto ukupnog broja prevezenih putnika.

Nije tajna da je Split jedan od rijetkih gradova za koji nećete pronaći javni prijevoz na aplikaciji Google maps. Zato je vrijeme da "Promet" u suradnji s Gradom poradi na novoj mreži linija koje će omogućavati najbrže moguće i učestalo povezivanje različitih dijelova grada i koja će uvažiti potrebe različitih kategorija naših sugrađana kao i širenje grada - zaključio je Urlić
