Dana Vulin je 36-godišnja Australka iz Pertha srpskog porijekla. Svijet se prije deset godina šokirao nad sudbinom tada 26-godišnjakinje, koju je žena po imenu Natalie Dimitrovska isprskala alkoholom po licu, kosi, grudima i trbuhu, a potom je namjerno zapalila.

Dana je gorjela, osjećala je, priča, kako joj koža otpada s prstiju i s tijela, mladić iz obližnje teretane čuo je njezine krikove i pozvao hitnu pomoć.

Dana je provela 30 mjeseci u bolnici, a onda je pokazala svoje novo "ja" i oduševila svijet u televizijskom prijenosu. Danas svojim primjerom motivira ljude diljem svijeta, prenosi Espreso.

- Ono što mi se dogodilo nešto je najokrutnije na svijetu, ali, nažalost, nisam se smjela o tome oglašavati zbog suđenja. Sjećam se da sam bila toliko očajna, zato sad osjećam odgovornost podijeliti svoju priču.

Svi znaju što mi se dogodilo, ali želim pokazati i onu drugu stranu, što sam sve postigla, i da je moj oporavak mnogo više od estetike - rekla je Dana, koja je zadobila opekline trećeg stupnja na 65 posto površine tijela.

Dana je, inače, magistrica medicine, specijalizirala se za područje oporavka i liječenja ožiljaka, a otvorila je i svoju kliniku.

Okrutan napad

Natalie Dimitrovska bila je ljubomorna jer je Dana razgovarala s njenim mužem tijekom jedne kućne zabave. Došla je u Daninu kuću, u pratnji svog prijatelja Daniela Stonea​, sa namjerom "da uništi njeno lijepo lice".

- Mahala je rukom polijevajući me po licu, rukama, grudima, svuda od struka prema gore. Plamen je zahvatio moju ruku i iznenada se sve oko mene pretvorilo u vatru. Gorjelo je sve, moja ramena, moj trbuh... - prisjeća se Dana zastrašujuće scene.

Vatra se proširila po cijelom tijelu.

- Plamen se proširio na moju glavu, kosa je izgorjela u sekundi, kad sam krenula obrisati goruću kemikaliju s lica ruke su mi već gorjele - opisala je Dana u knjizi "Vrijedno borbe".

Instiktivno se bacila na pod i počela se kotrljati kako bi ugasila vatru, ali se ona i dalje širila.

- Bol je bila nepodnošljiva, a dok sam vrištala čula sam Natalie i Daniela kako bježe kroz i smiju se.

Smijali su mi se dok sam živa gorjela. Jedva sam mogla razmišljati od boli. U panici, otišla sam do slavine, pokušavajući ugasiti vatru izlijevanjem vode po sebi  - navela je Dana.

Dana je uspjela izaći iz kuće, vrišteći i dozivajući pomoć, kad ju je mladić po imenu Dennis Ericson čuo i iz obližnje joj teretane dotrčao u pomoć. Pozvao je hitnu službu i bio uz nju dok se nisu pojavili.

- Vratila sam se s praga smrti. Dok sam spavala, sanjala sam. Imala sam sjećanja, fantazije i noćne more - sjeća se.

Dana je dvije i pol godine nosila masku za kompresiju na licu kako bi opekotine zarasle. U bolnici je provela godinu i pol, za to vrijeme koža na grudima u potpunosti joj je zamijenjena tri puta.

- Nitko nije mislio da je fizički moguće oporaviti se u toj mjeri - izjavila je svojevremeno Dana za Daily Mail Australia.

O sebi je ranije govorila kao o "modernom Frankensteinu" i da je "hodajuća reklama" za čuda koja čini moderna medicina.

"Sve je moguće"

Masku je 2014. godine skinula u programu uživo na australijskom Kanalu 7, kad su milijuni gledatelja s nestrpljenjem čekali rezultate njene 30-mjesečne borbe.

- Znam tko sam, ali sam istovremeno žena s bež maskom. Nemam nikakav izraz na licu, ne vidite mi usta, nos, samo očne jabučice. Cijenim ono što maska zdravstveno učinila za mene, ali je istovremeno mrzim iz dna duše.

Bez nje ne bih bila gdje sam danas, a s druge bih strane, rađe bih trpjela fizičku bol nego da je i dalje nosim. Moja izgorjela koža i moji ožiljci danas su dio mene, ali to nisam ja - rekla je Dana neposredno prije skidanja maske sa lica.

Rezultati su bili nevjerojatni.

Zbog toga je nedavno podijelila video u kojem je pokazala svoj put od strašnih opekotina i uništenog lica do trenutnog izgleda, a sama je istaknula da je u boljoj formi nego ikada.

- Ovo je način da pokažem drugim borcima i svim ostalim ljudima da je sve moguće - napisala je Dana i dodala da je ponosna na to što nije odustala od svog tijela te da se danas osjeća snažnije nego ikad prije.

Natalie Dimitrovska osuđena je na 17 godina zatvora zbog nanošenja teških tjelesnih ozljeda s predumišljajem, a Dana je jednom prilikom istaknula da je ne mrzi i da je ljepota koju je uspjela vratiti najveća nagrada za nju, a kazna za osobu koja ju je pokušala ubiti na najzvjerskiji način.

- Natalie nema nikakvu moć nada mnom, nemam vremena niti energije za mržnju. Ona mi jednostavno ništa ne znači. Netko je pokušao uzeti moje lice i tijelo, nema boljeg odgovora na to - rekla je Dana, prenosi Espreso.

Dana Vulin je 36-godišnja Australka iz Pertha srpskog porijekla. Svijet se prije deset godina šokirao nad sudbinom tada 26-godišnjakinje, koju je žena po imenu Natalie Dimitrovska isprskala alkoholom po licu, kosi, grudima i trbuhu, a potom je namjerno zapalila.

Dana je gorjela, osjećala je, priča, kako joj koža otpada s prstiju i s tijela, mladić iz obližnje teretane čuo je njezine krikove i pozvao hitnu pomoć.

Dana je provela 30 mjeseci u bolnici, a onda je pokazala svoje novo "ja" i oduševila svijet u televizijskom prijenosu. Danas svojim primjerom motivira ljude diljem svijeta, prenosi Espreso.

- Ono što mi se dogodilo nešto je najokrutnije na svijetu, ali, nažalost, nisam se smjela o tome oglašavati zbog suđenja. Sjećam se da sam bila toliko očajna, zato sad osjećam odgovornost podijeliti svoju priču.

Svi znaju što mi se dogodilo, ali želim pokazati i onu drugu stranu, što sam sve postigla, i da je moj oporavak mnogo više od estetike - rekla je Dana, koja je zadobila opekline trećeg stupnja na 65 posto površine tijela.

Dana je, inače, magistrica medicine, specijalizirala se za područje oporavka i liječenja ožiljaka, a otvorila je i svoju kliniku.

Okrutan napad

Natalie Dimitrovska bila je ljubomorna jer je Dana razgovarala s njenim mužem tijekom jedne kućne zabave. Došla je u Daninu kuću, u pratnji svog prijatelja Daniela Stonea​, sa namjerom "da uništi njeno lijepo lice".

- Mahala je rukom polijevajući me po licu, rukama, grudima, svuda od struka prema gore. Plamen je zahvatio moju ruku i iznenada se sve oko mene pretvorilo u vatru. Gorjelo je sve, moja ramena, moj trbuh... - prisjeća se Dana zastrašujuće scene.

Vatra se proširila po cijelom tijelu.

- Plamen se proširio na moju glavu, kosa je izgorjela u sekundi, kad sam krenula obrisati goruću kemikaliju s lica ruke su mi već gorjele - opisala je Dana u knjizi "Vrijedno borbe".

Instiktivno se bacila na pod i počela se kotrljati kako bi ugasila vatru, ali se ona i dalje širila.

- Bol je bila nepodnošljiva, a dok sam vrištala čula sam Natalie i Daniela kako bježe kroz i smiju se.

Smijali su mi se dok sam živa gorjela. Jedva sam mogla razmišljati od boli. U panici, otišla sam do slavine, pokušavajući ugasiti vatru izlijevanjem vode po sebi  - navela je Dana.

Dana je uspjela izaći iz kuće, vrišteći i dozivajući pomoć, kad ju je mladić po imenu Dennis Ericson čuo i iz obližnje joj teretane dotrčao u pomoć. Pozvao je hitnu službu i bio uz nju dok se nisu pojavili.

- Vratila sam se s praga smrti. Dok sam spavala, sanjala sam. Imala sam sjećanja, fantazije i noćne more - sjeća se.

Dana je dvije i pol godine nosila masku za kompresiju na licu kako bi opekotine zarasle. U bolnici je provela godinu i pol, za to vrijeme koža na grudima u potpunosti joj je zamijenjena tri puta.

- Nitko nije mislio da je fizički moguće oporaviti se u toj mjeri - izjavila je svojevremeno Dana za Daily Mail Australia.

O sebi je ranije govorila kao o "modernom Frankensteinu" i da je "hodajuća reklama" za čuda koja čini moderna medicina.

"Sve je moguće"

Masku je 2014. godine skinula u programu uživo na australijskom Kanalu 7, kad su milijuni gledatelja s nestrpljenjem čekali rezultate njene 30-mjesečne borbe.

- Znam tko sam, ali sam istovremeno žena s bež maskom. Nemam nikakav izraz na licu, ne vidite mi usta, nos, samo očne jabučice. Cijenim ono što maska zdravstveno učinila za mene, ali je istovremeno mrzim iz dna duše.

Bez nje ne bih bila gdje sam danas, a s druge bih strane, rađe bih trpjela fizičku bol nego da je i dalje nosim. Moja izgorjela koža i moji ožiljci danas su dio mene, ali to nisam ja - rekla je Dana neposredno prije skidanja maske sa lica.

Rezultati su bili nevjerojatni.

Zbog toga je nedavno podijelila video u kojem je pokazala svoj put od strašnih opekotina i uništenog lica do trenutnog izgleda, a sama je istaknula da je u boljoj formi nego ikada.

- Ovo je način da pokažem drugim borcima i svim ostalim ljudima da je sve moguće - napisala je Dana i dodala da je ponosna na to što nije odustala od svog tijela te da se danas osjeća snažnije nego ikad prije.

Natalie Dimitrovska osuđena je na 17 godina zatvora zbog nanošenja teških tjelesnih ozljeda s predumišljajem, a Dana je jednom prilikom istaknula da je ne mrzi i da je ljepota koju je uspjela vratiti najveća nagrada za nju, a kazna za osobu koja ju je pokušala ubiti na najzvjerskiji način.

- Natalie nema nikakvu moć nada mnom, nemam vremena niti energije za mržnju. Ona mi jednostavno ništa ne znači. Netko je pokušao uzeti moje lice i tijelo, nema boljeg odgovora na to - rekla je Dana, prenosi Espreso.
