Alkoholni ocat, koji se dobiva fermentacijom etilnog alkohola, naziva se još i bijeli ocat, i gotovo je postao sinonim za zimnicu ali i sredstvo za čišćenje.

Premda se u salatama mnogo češće koristi vinski ili jabučni ocat, neki biraju upravo alkoholni koji će salatu zakiseliti (i uništiti zaostale mikroorganizme), ali neće dominirati svojim okusom.

Alkoholni ocat ima mnogo dobrih svojstava i gotovo je nezamjenjiv u svakoj kući. Neki tvrde da je odličan protiv mravi: put kojim se kreću valja poprskati bijelim octom i to bi ih trebalo rastjerati. Nadalje, produljit će život rezanom cvijeću, a u vodu u vazi dovoljno je dodati žlicu ili dvije.

Mješavina vode i alkoholnog octa odlična je za pranje stakala, pogotovo za one kojima smetaju žestoki mirisi gotovih proizvoda za tu svrhu.

Ista mješavina poslužit će i za čišćenje frižidera (pritom uklanja i sve neugodne mirise) te za pranje umivaonika, kade ili tuš -kabine. Mogu se ovom otopinom oprati i podovi s keramičkim pločicama, ali nije je uputno koristiti na mramoru i granitu.

Pomoći će i kod začepljenih odvoda: šalicu octa i šalicu sode bikarbone treba usuti u slivnik - doći će do burne, pjenušave reakcije - i tako ostaviti sat vremena. Zatim se sve ispire velikom količninom vruće vode.

Alkoholni ocat uz to se sve češće koristi i kod pranja rublja. Uklanja bakterije, izbjeljuje i omekšava bijelo rublje. Ne ostavlja miris na njemu, a oni koji žele, uvijek mogu u perilicu dodati i par kapi nekog eteričnog ulja.

Jedna od najboljih primjena ovoga octa je u kuhinji i kupaonici, prilikom uklanjanja kamenca i mrlji od sapuna na slavinama.

Manje zaprljane slavine dovoljno je prebrisati krpom namočenom u ocat, ali ako su u pitanju tvrdokornije nakupine, tada se u ocat namoči nekoliko papirnatih ručnika, oblože se slavine i ostave tako barem sat vremena. Ako se kamenac baš jako uhvatio, ručnici mogu ostati i preko noći. Potom se slavine isperu vodom, osuše, i ponovno će blistati.

Alkoholni ocat, koji se dobiva fermentacijom etilnog alkohola, naziva se još i bijeli ocat, i gotovo je postao sinonim za zimnicu ali i sredstvo za čišćenje.

Premda se u salatama mnogo češće koristi vinski ili jabučni ocat, neki biraju upravo alkoholni koji će salatu zakiseliti (i uništiti zaostale mikroorganizme), ali neće dominirati svojim okusom.

Alkoholni ocat ima mnogo dobrih svojstava i gotovo je nezamjenjiv u svakoj kući. Neki tvrde da je odličan protiv mravi: put kojim se kreću valja poprskati bijelim octom i to bi ih trebalo rastjerati. Nadalje, produljit će život rezanom cvijeću, a u vodu u vazi dovoljno je dodati žlicu ili dvije.

Mješavina vode i alkoholnog octa odlična je za pranje stakala, pogotovo za one kojima smetaju žestoki mirisi gotovih proizvoda za tu svrhu.

Ista mješavina poslužit će i za čišćenje frižidera (pritom uklanja i sve neugodne mirise) te za pranje umivaonika, kade ili tuš -kabine. Mogu se ovom otopinom oprati i podovi s keramičkim pločicama, ali nije je uputno koristiti na mramoru i granitu.

Pomoći će i kod začepljenih odvoda: šalicu octa i šalicu sode bikarbone treba usuti u slivnik - doći će do burne, pjenušave reakcije - i tako ostaviti sat vremena. Zatim se sve ispire velikom količninom vruće vode.

Alkoholni ocat uz to se sve češće koristi i kod pranja rublja. Uklanja bakterije, izbjeljuje i omekšava bijelo rublje. Ne ostavlja miris na njemu, a oni koji žele, uvijek mogu u perilicu dodati i par kapi nekog eteričnog ulja.

Jedna od najboljih primjena ovoga octa je u kuhinji i kupaonici, prilikom uklanjanja kamenca i mrlji od sapuna na slavinama.

Manje zaprljane slavine dovoljno je prebrisati krpom namočenom u ocat, ali ako su u pitanju tvrdokornije nakupine, tada se u ocat namoči nekoliko papirnatih ručnika, oblože se slavine i ostave tako barem sat vremena. Ako se kamenac baš jako uhvatio, ručnici mogu ostati i preko noći. Potom se slavine isperu vodom, osuše, i ponovno će blistati.
