Možete li biti prijatelj s nekim s kim radite? Priznali mi sebi ili ne, sve češće se događa da provodimo više vremena s kolegama na radnom mjestu nego s vlastitom obitelji. Ljudski je htjeti se zbližiti sa suradnicima s kojima dijelimo radni stol ili sobu, imati s kim podijeliti neke poslovne dvojbe, čuti iskreno mišljenje (i kritiku, dapače), zatražiti pomoć ili ju dati. Postoje istraživanja koja podržavaju stvaranje prijateljstva na radnom mjestu jer pozitivno utječu na motivaciju i atmosferu u uredu, piše Gloria.

Studija koju je provela britanska tvrtka Wildgoose, specijalizirana za izgradnju i jačanje timova, otkrila je da više od polovice (57%) zaposlenika kaže da im najbolji prijatelj na radnom mjestu čini rad ugodnijim, a drugi dio (22 posto) tvrdi kako su zbog prijateljstva na radnom mjestu produktivniji, piše Forbes. S druge strane, radnici koji nisu izgradili prijateljske odnose u uredu (preostalih 21 posto) bore se s usamljenošću jer nemaju s kim podijeliti zamisli, uredske šale, katkad samo šutke ispijati kavu s osobom s kojom se osjećaju ugodno iako taj dan nemaju tema za razgovor.

"Dobro je imati ljude do kojih nam je stalo i koji se brinu za nas. Zašto bi rad bio drugačiji, pogotovo kada uzmemo u obzir činjenicu da je svijet rada katkad kompliciran?", kaže Nic Marks, osnivač tvrtke Friday Pulse koja se bavi radnom statistikom i poznati motivacijski govornik.

"Rad za sobom povlači stvaranje odnosa s kolegama, kupcima, dobavljačima... Kvaliteta tih odnosa ne utječe samo na naše vlastito iskustvo rada (neosporno je bolje raditi kada se slažemo s ljudima) već djeluje na naš poslovni mindset. Naime, interakcija ideja, katkad i stubokom suprotstavljenih zamisli, doprinosi boljim rezultatima”, smatra Nic Marks.

No, prijateljstva na radnom mjestu mogu biti kontroverzna. Mnogi ga povezuju s formiranjem (interesnih) klika na štetu onih koji nisu uključeni. Osim toga, prijateljstva na poslu mogu potencijalno potkopati učinkovitost timova.

"Istraživanje kolektivne inteligencije govori nam da timovi koji izbjegavaju konstruktivni sukob, jer su prijatelji i ne žele ugroziti taj odnos, donose manje uspješne odluke," kaže Pam Hamilton, autorica knjige "Supercharging Teams: 30 Tools of Great Teamwork".

"Dolazimo na posao kako bismo nešto postigli. Stavljanje prijateljstva ispred timskog rada znači da bismo mogli lansirati manje kvalitetan proizvod jer se bojimo povrijediti nečije osjećaje", smatra autorica.

Dakle, imamo razloge "za" i "protiv", stoga je važno definirati pravila kako se snaći u labirintu odnosa na radnom mjestu.

Prvo je da osobni život ostavimo kod kuće, koliko god nam se novi frend na radnom mjestu činio dobricom, pa bismo mu, eto, rado plakali na ramenu zbog propale veze, svađe sa suprugom ili roditeljskih muka. Imajte na umu da spone stvorene na poslu pucaju jednako brzo kao što se stvaraju jer svi teže istom, unapređenju i većoj plaći. Ono što ste novom prijatelju na poslu povjerili (trebao vam je ispuh), moglo bi lako procuriti, iskoristiti se protiv vas. Svi smo samo ljudi, nitko nije savršen.

Drugo, nikad ali baš nikad ne prenosite informacije za koje vam je rečeno da ih zadržite za sebe. To što si stalno dajete "pet", smijete istim forama ili si pomažete kad treba zapeti, drugi mogu vidjeti kao "ekskluzivni klub" u koji nisu uključeni i stvoriti napetost. Dakle, uključite i druge u razmjenu ideja s vašim BBF na poslu, pohvalite i druge kolege, obratite pozornost na sve podjednako, istaknute što vam se kod svakoga ponaosob sviđa i dinamika odnosa u vašem timu bit će kava treba biti, aktivna, poticajna, ugodna za rad, svi će osjetiti dobrobit zbog zajedničkog postignuća. Možete li biti prijatelj s nekim s kim radite? Priznali mi sebi ili ne, sve češće se događa da provodimo više vremena s kolegama na radnom mjestu nego s vlastitom obitelji. Ljudski je htjeti se zbližiti sa suradnicima s kojima dijelimo radni stol ili sobu, imati s kim podijeliti neke poslovne dvojbe, čuti iskreno mišljenje (i kritiku, dapače), zatražiti pomoć ili ju dati. Postoje istraživanja koja podržavaju stvaranje prijateljstva na radnom mjestu jer pozitivno utječu na motivaciju i atmosferu u uredu, piše Gloria.

Studija koju je provela britanska tvrtka Wildgoose, specijalizirana za izgradnju i jačanje timova, otkrila je da više od polovice (57%) zaposlenika kaže da im najbolji prijatelj na radnom mjestu čini rad ugodnijim, a drugi dio (22 posto) tvrdi kako su zbog prijateljstva na radnom mjestu produktivniji, piše Forbes. S druge strane, radnici koji nisu izgradili prijateljske odnose u uredu (preostalih 21 posto) bore se s usamljenošću jer nemaju s kim podijeliti zamisli, uredske šale, katkad samo šutke ispijati kavu s osobom s kojom se osjećaju ugodno iako taj dan nemaju tema za razgovor.

"Dobro je imati ljude do kojih nam je stalo i koji se brinu za nas. Zašto bi rad bio drugačiji, pogotovo kada uzmemo u obzir činjenicu da je svijet rada katkad kompliciran?", kaže Nic Marks, osnivač tvrtke Friday Pulse koja se bavi radnom statistikom i poznati motivacijski govornik.

"Rad za sobom povlači stvaranje odnosa s kolegama, kupcima, dobavljačima... Kvaliteta tih odnosa ne utječe samo na naše vlastito iskustvo rada (neosporno je bolje raditi kada se slažemo s ljudima) već djeluje na naš poslovni mindset. Naime, interakcija ideja, katkad i stubokom suprotstavljenih zamisli, doprinosi boljim rezultatima”, smatra Nic Marks.

No, prijateljstva na radnom mjestu mogu biti kontroverzna. Mnogi ga povezuju s formiranjem (interesnih) klika na štetu onih koji nisu uključeni. Osim toga, prijateljstva na poslu mogu potencijalno potkopati učinkovitost timova.

"Istraživanje kolektivne inteligencije govori nam da timovi koji izbjegavaju konstruktivni sukob, jer su prijatelji i ne žele ugroziti taj odnos, donose manje uspješne odluke," kaže Pam Hamilton, autorica knjige "Supercharging Teams: 30 Tools of Great Teamwork".

"Dolazimo na posao kako bismo nešto postigli. Stavljanje prijateljstva ispred timskog rada znači da bismo mogli lansirati manje kvalitetan proizvod jer se bojimo povrijediti nečije osjećaje", smatra autorica.

Dakle, imamo razloge "za" i "protiv", stoga je važno definirati pravila kako se snaći u labirintu odnosa na radnom mjestu.

Prvo je da osobni život ostavimo kod kuće, koliko god nam se novi frend na radnom mjestu činio dobricom, pa bismo mu, eto, rado plakali na ramenu zbog propale veze, svađe sa suprugom ili roditeljskih muka. Imajte na umu da spone stvorene na poslu pucaju jednako brzo kao što se stvaraju jer svi teže istom, unapređenju i većoj plaći. Ono što ste novom prijatelju na poslu povjerili (trebao vam je ispuh), moglo bi lako procuriti, iskoristiti se protiv vas. Svi smo samo ljudi, nitko nije savršen.

Drugo, nikad ali baš nikad ne prenosite informacije za koje vam je rečeno da ih zadržite za sebe. Postoji razlog zbog kojeg ih nisu podijelili sa svima, vi ste, pak, ocijenjeni kao osoba od povjerenja stoga nije pametno upropastiti taj imidž samo zato da biste se pred drugima pohvalili dobrom informiranošću i zavidnim kontaktima.

Treće, prijateljstva na poslu mogu biti izazov za uspostavu hijerarhije. Primjerice, nedavno ste unaprijeđeni, a vaša BFF na poslu nije. Bez obzira na to koliko ste dobre, morat ćete postaviti granicu zbog autoriteta prema drugim kolegama jer svi će promatrati kako se ponašate prema njoj. I donositi zaključke. Uz to, ponovno pročitajte točku dva. Neke informacije jednostavno nećete moći (smjeti) dijeliti.

Četvrto, treba razlikovati korektan, suradnički odnos od prijateljstva. Postavite si pitanje biste li se s kolegicom s kojom odlično surađujete, družile i izvan posla? Odgovor na to pitanje ujedno je pojašnjenje razlike između suradnje i dublje, prijateljske veze.

Naravno, to ne znači da biste se trebali družiti izvan radnog mjesta ukoliko bi to narušilo vašu privatnost i ogolilo vas među kolegama.

Peto, imajte na umu da činjenica kako se vaš radni stil ili tip humora s kolegom preko puta, može pogrešno iščitati. To što si stalno dajete "pet", smijete istim forama ili si pomažete kad treba zapeti, drugi mogu vidjeti kao "ekskluzivni klub" u koji nisu uključeni i stvoriti napetost. Dakle, uključite i druge u razmjenu ideja s vašim BBF na poslu, pohvalite i druge kolege, obratite pozornost na sve podjednako, istaknute što vam se kod svakoga ponaosob sviđa i dinamika odnosa u vašem timu bit će kava treba biti, aktivna, poticajna, ugodna za rad, svi će osjetiti dobrobit zbog zajedničkog postignuća. Ako ste uz sve to vođa tog tima, najveći benefit imat ćete vi, piše Gloria.
