Mnogi studenti u potrazi su za poslovima koji će uz malo muke, pružiti džeparac dovoljan za osnovne im životne potrebe. Dok neki životopis šalju trgovinama i tvrtkama, drugi uspostavljaju odnose sa "sugar daddyjima", koji im u zamjenu za druženja na račun uplaćuju novac. Trenutno se više od 3 milijuna studenata u SAD-u smatraju takozvanim šećernim bebama. Njima "Sugar Daddy/partner" daje mentorstvo i financijsku pomoć u zamjenu za seks, društvo ili spojeve, piše Psychology Today.

Emily je 21-godišnja studentica kojoj je trebao dodatni prihod. U intervjuu za Izvješće o traumi i mentalnom zdravlju, opisala je jedno od svojih iskustava s oženjenim sugar daddyjem.

“Moj najduži dogovor bio je s muškarcem koji je bio oženjen; njegova žena i djeca nisu znali. Osjećala sam se malo čudno zbog toga. Imam sreće što se ništa loše nije dogodilo. Da je itko od njih ikada imao loše namjere, lako bi mi mogao bilo što učiniti... puno je stvari koje bi mogle poći po zlu, mogli su me opljačkati. Rizično je, morate biti oprezni, a zapravo nema načina da znate. Ponekad bih razgovarala s nekim i on bi izgledao super fin, a onda na kraju ne bi bio iskren", prisjetila se neobičnog iskustva.

Emily, koja je zapravo anonimna studentica, je na kraju odlučila prestati s ovim poslom. Tvrdi da je iskustvo kojeg je imala bio veliki udarac na njezino samopouzdanje. 

“Definitivno je bilo trenutaka kada se poslije nisam baš osjećala dobro sama sa sobom. Pokušala bih o tome razmišljati na sljedeći način: plaćaju me za moje vrijeme, a ne za ono što radim. Ali bilo je trenutaka kada bih se osjećala nekako iskorišteno. Ponekad bih radila stvari koje zapravo ne želim raditi - samo zbog novca, što sam požalila. Time također izgubite i dio autonomije. Ako više sami ne plaćate svoje stvari, osjećate se kao da vaš život nije vaš”, tvrdi.

Jessica Stebbins je obiteljska terapeutkinja s iskustvom u savjetovanju žena koje su imale povijest prostitucije. Na svom blogu Jessica govori o "trendu sugar daddyja" i svojim zapažanjima koja nastaju tijekom savjetovanja žena koje su i same bile šećerne bebe. Ona navodi:

“Činjenica je da mnoge mlade žene ulaze u te veze iz istih razloga iz kojih prostitutke ulaze u svoju profesiju: ​​novac. U tim slučajevima, rizici su vrlo slični prostituciji i sigurno je reći da one neće izaći iz ovakvog iskustva bez emocionalnih ožiljaka... Ove su djevojke izrazile iste emocije i probleme kao i djevojke koje su bile etiketirane prostitutke: sram, krivnja, neugoda, ranjivost, “prljavost”, tjeskoba i depresija”, rekla je.

Stebbins smatra da je problem s ovakvim vezama u tome što one ne dopuštaju prirodno razvijanje osjećaja, već se vrte oko obećanog novca. To može utjecati na moral i samopoimanje te dovesti do drugih negativnih posljedica.

Emilyna priča slična je brojnim drugima. Ali, ne tvrde svi da ovakvi odnosi imaju loše učinke na mentalno zdravlje. Jordan je u ovom poslu aktivan već dvije godine. Njegovo iskustvo bilo je drugačije od Emilynog. Jordan ga opisuje kao nešto pozitivno i osnažujuće.

“Na kraju, sve dok postoji potpuna komunikacija i pristanak tijekom cijelog procesa, nema ništa loše u tome da učinite ono što možete kako biste se uzdržavali. Biti u mogućnosti sastati se s pojedincima, stvoriti zajednički dogovor i dobro se zabaviti vrlo je pozitivno iskustvo i u najboljem slučaju osnažujuće. To mojim kolegama pruža želju i motivaciju pomoći sebi ili čak samo živjeti sretno”, objašnjava.

Mnogi studenti u potrazi su za poslovima koji će uz malo muke, pružiti džeparac dovoljan za osnovne im životne potrebe. Dok neki životopis šalju trgovinama i tvrtkama, drugi uspostavljaju odnose sa "sugar daddyjima", koji im u zamjenu za druženja na račun uplaćuju novac. Trenutno se više od 3 milijuna studenata u SAD-u smatraju takozvanim šećernim bebama. Njima "Sugar Daddy/partner" daje mentorstvo i financijsku pomoć u zamjenu za seks, društvo ili spojeve, piše Psychology Today.

Emily je 21-godišnja studentica kojoj je trebao dodatni prihod. U intervjuu za Izvješće o traumi i mentalnom zdravlju, opisala je jedno od svojih iskustava s oženjenim sugar daddyjem.

“Moj najduži dogovor bio je s muškarcem koji je bio oženjen; njegova žena i djeca nisu znali. Osjećala sam se malo čudno zbog toga. Imam sreće što se ništa loše nije dogodilo. Da je itko od njih ikada imao loše namjere, lako bi mi mogao bilo što učiniti... puno je stvari koje bi mogle poći po zlu, mogli su me opljačkati. Rizično je, morate biti oprezni, a zapravo nema načina da znate. Ponekad bih razgovarala s nekim i on bi izgledao super fin, a onda na kraju ne bi bio iskren", prisjetila se neobičnog iskustva.

Emily, koja je zapravo anonimna studentica, je na kraju odlučila prestati s ovim poslom. Tvrdi da je iskustvo kojeg je imala bio veliki udarac na njezino samopouzdanje. 

“Definitivno je bilo trenutaka kada se poslije nisam baš osjećala dobro sama sa sobom. Pokušala bih o tome razmišljati na sljedeći način: plaćaju me za moje vrijeme, a ne za ono što radim. Ali bilo je trenutaka kada bih se osjećala nekako iskorišteno. Ponekad bih radila stvari koje zapravo ne želim raditi - samo zbog novca, što sam požalila. Time također izgubite i dio autonomije. Ako više sami ne plaćate svoje stvari, osjećate se kao da vaš život nije vaš”, tvrdi.

Jessica Stebbins je obiteljska terapeutkinja s iskustvom u savjetovanju žena koje su imale povijest prostitucije. Na svom blogu Jessica govori o "trendu sugar daddyja" i svojim zapažanjima koja nastaju tijekom savjetovanja žena koje su i same bile šećerne bebe. Ona navodi:

“Činjenica je da mnoge mlade žene ulaze u te veze iz istih razloga iz kojih prostitutke ulaze u svoju profesiju: ​​novac. U tim slučajevima, rizici su vrlo slični prostituciji i sigurno je reći da one neće izaći iz ovakvog iskustva bez emocionalnih ožiljaka... Ove su djevojke izrazile iste emocije i probleme kao i djevojke koje su bile etiketirane prostitutke: sram, krivnja, neugoda, ranjivost, “prljavost”, tjeskoba i depresija”, rekla je.

Stebbins smatra da je problem s ovakvim vezama u tome što one ne dopuštaju prirodno razvijanje osjećaja, već se vrte oko obećanog novca. To može utjecati na moral i samopoimanje te dovesti do drugih negativnih posljedica.

Emilyna priča slična je brojnim drugima. Ali, ne tvrde svi da ovakvi odnosi imaju loše učinke na mentalno zdravlje. Jordan je u ovom poslu aktivan već dvije godine. Njegovo iskustvo bilo je drugačije od Emilynog. Jordan ga opisuje kao nešto pozitivno i osnažujuće.

“Na kraju, sve dok postoji potpuna komunikacija i pristanak tijekom cijelog procesa, nema ništa loše u tome da učinite ono što možete kako biste se uzdržavali. Biti u mogućnosti sastati se s pojedincima, stvoriti zajednički dogovor i dobro se zabaviti vrlo je pozitivno iskustvo i u najboljem slučaju osnažujuće. To mojim kolegama pruža želju i motivaciju pomoći sebi ili čak samo živjeti sretno”, objašnjava.

Mnogi studenti u potrazi su za poslovima koji će uz malo muke, pružiti džeparac dovoljan za osnovne im životne potrebe. Dok neki životopis šalju trgovinama i tvrtkama, drugi uspostavljaju odnose sa "sugar daddyjima", koji im u zamjenu za druženja na račun uplaćuju novac. Trenutno se više od 3 milijuna studenata u SAD-u smatraju takozvanim šećernim bebama. Njima "Sugar Daddy/partner" daje mentorstvo i financijsku pomoć u zamjenu za seks, društvo ili spojeve, piše Psychology Today.

Emily je 21-godišnja studentica kojoj je trebao dodatni prihod. U intervjuu za Izvješće o traumi i mentalnom zdravlju, opisala je jedno od svojih iskustava s oženjenim sugar daddyjem.
