Nazivaju ga danas "prvim pacijentom" oboljelim od koronavirusa u Italiji. Mattia Maestri, bivši nogometaš i rekreativni trkač, dao je intervju za Gazzettin Sportweek, a u njemu opisao događaje od kraja veljače, kad mu je zaraza dijagnosticirana, do danas.

Maestri je nekad igrao nogomet za jedan talijanski klub četvrte lige, živio prije nego što se zarazio aktivan i uredan život. Ovaj 37-godišnjak će, ipak, ostati upisan kao prvi slučaj zaraze lokalnom transmisijom u Italiji, u kojoj je epidemija poprimila stravične razmjere.

Covid-19 dijagnosticiran mu je 20. veljače. Maestri živi u Codognu, gradu šezdesetak kilometara udaljenom i smještenom jugoistočno od Milana koji je važio kao epicentar. Danas se postupno, baš kao i njegovi sugrađani, vraća normalnom životu, otkriva, a odbio je i ponuđenu psihološku pomoć.

Rekao je i da se osjeća dobro, no čitavo vrijeme je u kontaktu s liječnikom koji mu je, kako kaže, spasio život.

"Postao mi je kao drugi otac, moj novi otac. Puno razgovaramo, slijedim njegove savjete na svojem dugom putu prema normalnom", kazao je Maestri koji je za vrijeme epidemije izgubio oca.

Iz bolnice je, naime, otpušten 21. ožujka, a njegov je otac preminuo dva dana ranije od posljedica Covida-19.

Opisao je i kako je prošao za to vrijeme kroz sve vrste emocionalne i fizičke krajnosti. Tri tjedna proveo je bez svijesti na odjelu za intenzivnu njegu. Kad se probudio, nije znao što je koronavirus ni kakve je posljedice poprimio u njegovoj rodnoj državi, a i u svijetu. Što je najgore, na društvenim mrežama dočekale su ga - uvrede.

I njegova trudna supruga bila je zaražena, no oporavila se. Par je dobio zdravu djevojčicu, na svijet je stigla 7. travnja.

Nazivaju ga danas "prvim pacijentom" oboljelim od koronavirusa u Italiji. Mattia Maestri, bivši nogometaš i rekreativni trkač, dao je intervju za Gazzettin Sportweek, a u njemu opisao događaje od kraja veljače, kad mu je zaraza dijagnosticirana, do danas.

Maestri je nekad igrao nogomet za jedan talijanski klub četvrte lige, živio prije nego što se zarazio aktivan i uredan život. Ovaj 37-godišnjak će, ipak, ostati upisan kao prvi slučaj zaraze lokalnom transmisijom u Italiji, u kojoj je epidemija poprimila stravične razmjere.

Covid-19 dijagnosticiran mu je 20. veljače. Maestri živi u Codognu, gradu šezdesetak kilometara udaljenom i smještenom jugoistočno od Milana koji je važio kao epicentar. Danas se postupno, baš kao i njegovi sugrađani, vraća normalnom životu, otkriva, a odbio je i ponuđenu psihološku pomoć.

Rekao je i da se osjeća dobro, no čitavo vrijeme je u kontaktu s liječnikom koji mu je, kako kaže, spasio život.

"Postao mi je kao drugi otac, moj novi otac. Puno razgovaramo, slijedim njegove savjete na svojem dugom putu prema normalnom", kazao je Maestri koji je za vrijeme epidemije izgubio oca.

Iz bolnice je, naime, otpušten 21. ožujka, a njegov je otac preminuo dva dana ranije od posljedica Covida-19.

Opisao je i kako je prošao za to vrijeme kroz sve vrste emocionalne i fizičke krajnosti. Tri tjedna proveo je bez svijesti na odjelu za intenzivnu njegu. Kad se probudio, nije znao što je koronavirus ni kakve je posljedice poprimio u njegovoj rodnoj državi, a i u svijetu. Što je najgore, na društvenim mrežama dočekale su ga - uvrede.

I njegova trudna supruga bila je zaražena, no oporavila se. Par je dobio zdravu djevojčicu, na svijet je stigla 7. travnja.

Nazivaju ga danas "prvim pacijentom" oboljelim od koronavirusa u Italiji. Mattia Maestri, bivši nogometaš i rekreativni trkač, dao je intervju za Gazzettin Sportweek, a u njemu opisao događaje od kraja veljače, kad mu je zaraza dijagnosticirana, do danas.

Maestri je nekad igrao nogomet za jedan talijanski klub četvrte lige, živio prije nego što se zarazio aktivan i uredan život. Ovaj 37-godišnjak će, ipak, ostati upisan kao prvi slučaj zaraze lokalnom transmisijom u Italiji, u kojoj je epidemija poprimila stravične razmjere.
