Rak želuca je zloćudna bolest koja se može razviti u bilo kojem dijelu želuca. Njegov najčešći tip je adenokarcinom (rak sluznice želuca), koji je prisutan u čak 95 posto slučajeva. Ova vrsta raka može se uspješno liječiti, ali to ovisi isključivo o ranom otkrivanju, piše Stil.

Kao i kod nekih drugih vrsta raka, veliki je problem što podrazumijeva nespecifične simptome, kaže u razgovoru za portal eKlinika prof.dr. Dino Tarabar. Također, kod najvećeg broja oboljelih ova vrsta karcinoma nastaje i razvija se potpuno asimptomatski.

Mogu se osjetiti simptomi gornje dispepsije. Normalno su prisutni u populaciji, ali se najčešće krivo tumače kao „probavne smetnje“. No, ne moraju nužno značiti da se uvijek radi o zloćudnoj bolesti. Često se javlja osjećaj rane sitosti, bolovi u trbuhu nakon jela, mučnina i nagon za povraćanjem, plinovi i nadutost, uz žgaravicu.

To su simptomi koji, naravno, imaju veze sa želucem i njegovim radom, ali su i nešto što gotovo svatko od nas u nekom trenutku osjeti. Oni su kod najvećeg broja ljudi nespecifični u smislu neposredne sumnje na postojanje maligne bolesti i odlaska liječniku, a ova vrsta zloćudne bolesti već može biti iza njih - naglašava prof.dr.Tarabar, gastroenterolog i onkolog.

Pacijent se treba hitno obratiti liječniku ako se gore navedeni simptomi javljaju često i dulje vrijeme. A ako ih prate i poteškoće s gutanjem, anemija, slab apetit, a posljedično i pretjerano mršavljenje, moguće je da se već radi o uznapredovalom stadiju bolesti.

 Dodatne hitne indikacije su crna ili katranasta stolica, kao i povraćanje krvi. Dijagnostička metoda koja se mora odmah učiniti je gastroskopija. To se posebno odnosi na osobe starije od 45 godina.

-Uspješno liječenje raka želuca ovisi prvenstveno o ranom otkrivanju bolesti. Stoga je od presudne važnosti da se svatko tko osjeti gore navedene simptome što prije javi liječniku. Na taj način prvo otklanjamo postojanje maligniteta, što je najvažnije. Ali ne radi se samo o isključivanju zloćudnosti kao uzroka problema. Postoje i neka na prvi pogled manje "opasna" stanja, kao što je, primjerice, infekcija Helicobacter pylori.

Ova raširena bakterija, pokazala su istraživanja, može biti uzročnik raka želuca - upozorava gastroenterolog i onkolog, koji vodi Centar za upalne bolesti crijeva KBC-a "Dragiša Mišović".

Profesor dr. Dino Tarabar podsjeća da su drugi načini smanjenja rizika od bolesti uravnotežena prehrana i održavanje normalne tjelesne težine. Također, smanjenje konzumacije crvenog mesa, mesnih prerađevina i suhomesnatih proizvoda na minimum. To podrazumijeva redovitu tjelesnu aktivnost, uz izbjegavanje većih količina alkohola i duhana.

Veliki problem je što kod nas, za razliku od drugih krajeva, ne postoji kultura i navika obavljanja preventivnih i skrining pregleda, čak i kada za to postoji mogućnost. U Japanu je, primjerice, rano otkrivanje raka želuca zahvaljujući preventivnim pregledima još prije desetak godina bilo oko 60 posto.

-Nažalost, unatoč napretku i poboljšanju kako dijagnostičkih metoda tako i liječenja, još uvijek nam dolaze pacijenti koji imaju ili lokalno ili metastatski uznapredovali rak želuca. Istraživanja pokazuju da je za razvoj raka želuca potrebno nekoliko godina. To dovoljno govori o potrebi kontrole i preventivnih pregleda, jer je to jedini način ranog otkrivanja ovog karcinoma. Samo to daje šanse za uspješno liječenje – ističe sugovornik, objavio je Stil.

Rak želuca je zloćudna bolest koja se može razviti u bilo kojem dijelu želuca. Njegov najčešći tip je adenokarcinom (rak sluznice želuca), koji je prisutan u čak 95 posto slučajeva. Ova vrsta raka može se uspješno liječiti, ali to ovisi isključivo o ranom otkrivanju, piše Stil.

Kao i kod nekih drugih vrsta raka, veliki je problem što podrazumijeva nespecifične simptome, kaže u razgovoru za portal eKlinika prof.dr. Dino Tarabar. Također, kod najvećeg broja oboljelih ova vrsta karcinoma nastaje i razvija se potpuno asimptomatski.

Mogu se osjetiti simptomi gornje dispepsije. Normalno su prisutni u populaciji, ali se najčešće krivo tumače kao „probavne smetnje“. No, ne moraju nužno značiti da se uvijek radi o zloćudnoj bolesti. Često se javlja osjećaj rane sitosti, bolovi u trbuhu nakon jela, mučnina i nagon za povraćanjem, plinovi i nadutost, uz žgaravicu.

To su simptomi koji, naravno, imaju veze sa želucem i njegovim radom, ali su i nešto što gotovo svatko od nas u nekom trenutku osjeti. Oni su kod najvećeg broja ljudi nespecifični u smislu neposredne sumnje na postojanje maligne bolesti i odlaska liječniku, a ova vrsta zloćudne bolesti već može biti iza njih - naglašava prof.dr.Tarabar, gastroenterolog i onkolog.

Pacijent se treba hitno obratiti liječniku ako se gore navedeni simptomi javljaju često i dulje vrijeme. A ako ih prate i poteškoće s gutanjem, anemija, slab apetit, a posljedično i pretjerano mršavljenje, moguće je da se već radi o uznapredovalom stadiju bolesti.

 Dodatne hitne indikacije su crna ili katranasta stolica, kao i povraćanje krvi. Dijagnostička metoda koja se mora odmah učiniti je gastroskopija. To se posebno odnosi na osobe starije od 45 godina.

-Uspješno liječenje raka želuca ovisi prvenstveno o ranom otkrivanju bolesti. Stoga je od presudne važnosti da se svatko tko osjeti gore navedene simptome što prije javi liječniku. Na taj način prvo otklanjamo postojanje maligniteta, što je najvažnije. Ali ne radi se samo o isključivanju zloćudnosti kao uzroka problema. Postoje i neka na prvi pogled manje "opasna" stanja, kao što je, primjerice, infekcija Helicobacter pylori.

Ova raširena bakterija, pokazala su istraživanja, može biti uzročnik raka želuca - upozorava gastroenterolog i onkolog, koji vodi Centar za upalne bolesti crijeva KBC-a "Dragiša Mišović".

Profesor dr. Dino Tarabar podsjeća da su drugi načini smanjenja rizika od bolesti uravnotežena prehrana i održavanje normalne tjelesne težine. Također, smanjenje konzumacije crvenog mesa, mesnih prerađevina i suhomesnatih proizvoda na minimum. To podrazumijeva redovitu tjelesnu aktivnost, uz izbjegavanje većih količina alkohola i duhana.

Veliki problem je što kod nas, za razliku od drugih krajeva, ne postoji kultura i navika obavljanja preventivnih i skrining pregleda, čak i kada za to postoji mogućnost. U Japanu je, primjerice, rano otkrivanje raka želuca zahvaljujući preventivnim pregledima još prije desetak godina bilo oko 60 posto.

-Nažalost, unatoč napretku i poboljšanju kako dijagnostičkih metoda tako i liječenja, još uvijek nam dolaze pacijenti koji imaju ili lokalno ili metastatski uznapredovali rak želuca. Istraživanja pokazuju da je za razvoj raka želuca potrebno nekoliko godina. To dovoljno govori o potrebi kontrole i preventivnih pregleda, jer je to jedini način ranog otkrivanja ovog karcinoma. Samo to daje šanse za uspješno liječenje – ističe sugovornik, objavio je Stil.

Rak želuca je zloćudna bolest koja se može razviti u bilo kojem dijelu želuca. Njegov najčešći tip je adenokarcinom (rak sluznice želuca), koji je prisutan u čak 95 posto slučajeva. Ova vrsta raka može se uspješno liječiti, ali to ovisi isključivo o ranom otkrivanju, piše Stil.

Kao i kod nekih drugih vrsta raka, veliki je problem što podrazumijeva nespecifične simptome, kaže u razgovoru za portal eKlinika prof.dr. Dino Tarabar. Također, kod najvećeg broja oboljelih ova vrsta karcinoma nastaje i razvija se potpuno asimptomatski.

Mogu se osjetiti simptomi gornje dispepsije. Normalno su prisutni u populaciji, ali se najčešće krivo tumače kao „probavne smetnje“. No, ne moraju nužno značiti da se uvijek radi o zloćudnoj bolesti. Često se javlja osjećaj rane sitosti, bolovi ...
