Mnogima je tuširanje apsolutno nezamislivo bez polijevanja po glavi, pranja kose i lica dok peru tijelo. Uostalom, radi se o postupku "3 u 1" koji štedi vrijeme i vodu. A nećemo se lagati, mnogo je više osvježavajuć od onog koji pak preporučuju dermatolozi.

3 u 1 preporučuju zamijeniti s postepenim pranjem dijelova tijela. Upozoravaju na to ponajprije zato što umivanje, pranje lica pod tušem, nikako nije preporučljivo. Zašto?

Postoji više razloga koji bi vas mogli nagnati da preispitate svoju praksu obavljanja higijene.

Prije svega, kada je riječ o našoj koži, itekako postoji "previše vode", a tuširanje zapravo može rezultirati velikim gubitkom vlage u barijeri kože. Koliko god to na prvu paradoksalno zvučalo.

"Koža lica, kao i sva koža, može postati presuha ako je u prečestom kontakts s vodom", kazao je za Marie Claire dermatolog dr. Hadley King. S tom se tvrdnjom slaže i dr. Justine Hextall, dermatologinja koja je za Woman's Health otkrila da što više vremena provodite pod tušem, veća je šansa da isušite kožu.

"Prirodni čimbenici vlage poput ceramida, masnih kiselina i ulja pomažu u zadržavanju razine vlage u koži", objasnila je dr. Hextall. "Problem je u tome što su topivi u vodi, pa ako lice pustite da se natapa pod tušem 10 minuta, doslovno biste ih mogli isprati."

Više štete nego koristi

Drugo, mnogi, naročito zimi, čine grešku koja dugoročno nanosi štetu zdravlju kože - tuširaju se u vrućoj vodi. Ona nikako nije pogodna, ni za kožu tijela, a naročito ne delikatnu kožu lica.

"Možda volimo vruće tuševe, ali naša koža to ne voli", rekao je dr. Joshua Zeichner za Well+Good.

"Vruća voda može kožu potpuno lišiti ulja, što dovodi do suhoće, iritacije i upala", objasnio je.

Neki dermatolozi tvrde kako tuširanje vrućom vodom može rezultirati čak i popucalim kapilarama.

"Opće pravilo tuširanja je da ne bude predugo, da voda nije prevruća i da to ne činite prečesto", savjetuje dr. King.

Umjesto da se umivate pod tušem, jednostavno operite liceodvojeno jer tako imate veću kontrolu. Ako vam jednostavno ne ide, naročito u zimskim mjesecima, umivanje hladnom vodom, odlučite se barem za onu mlaku.

Mnogima je tuširanje apsolutno nezamislivo bez polijevanja po glavi, pranja kose i lica dok peru tijelo. Uostalom, radi se o postupku "3 u 1" koji štedi vrijeme i vodu. A nećemo se lagati, mnogo je više osvježavajuć od onog koji pak preporučuju dermatolozi.

3 u 1 preporučuju zamijeniti s postepenim pranjem dijelova tijela. Upozoravaju na to ponajprije zato što umivanje, pranje lica pod tušem, nikako nije preporučljivo. Zašto?

Postoji više razloga koji bi vas mogli nagnati da preispitate svoju praksu obavljanja higijene.

Prije svega, kada je riječ o našoj koži, itekako postoji "previše vode", a tuširanje zapravo može rezultirati velikim gubitkom vlage u barijeri kože. Koliko god to na prvu paradoksalno zvučalo.

"Koža lica, kao i sva koža, može postati presuha ako je u prečestom kontakts s vodom", kazao je za Marie Claire dermatolog dr. Hadley King. S tom se tvrdnjom slaže i dr. Justine Hextall, dermatologinja koja je za Woman's Health otkrila da što više vremena provodite pod tušem, veća je šansa da isušite kožu.

"Prirodni čimbenici vlage poput ceramida, masnih kiselina i ulja pomažu u zadržavanju razine vlage u koži", objasnila je dr. Hextall. "Problem je u tome što su topivi u vodi, pa ako lice pustite da se natapa pod tušem 10 minuta, doslovno biste ih mogli isprati."

Više štete nego koristi

Drugo, mnogi, naročito zimi, čine grešku koja dugoročno nanosi štetu zdravlju kože - tuširaju se u vrućoj vodi. Ona nikako nije pogodna, ni za kožu tijela, a naročito ne delikatnu kožu lica.

"Možda volimo vruće tuševe, ali naša koža to ne voli", rekao je dr. Joshua Zeichner za Well+Good.

"Vruća voda može kožu potpuno lišiti ulja, što dovodi do suhoće, iritacije i upala", objasnio je.

Neki dermatolozi tvrde kako tuširanje vrućom vodom može rezultirati čak i popucalim kapilarama.

"Opće pravilo tuširanja je da ne bude predugo, da voda nije prevruća i da to ne činite prečesto", savjetuje dr. King.

Umjesto da se umivate pod tušem, jednostavno operite liceodvojeno jer tako imate veću kontrolu. Ako vam jednostavno ne ide, naročito u zimskim mjesecima, umivanje hladnom vodom, odlučite se barem za onu mlaku.

Mnogima je tuširanje apsolutno nezamislivo bez polijevanja po glavi, pranja kose i lica dok peru tijelo. Uostalom, radi se o postupku "3 u 1" koji štedi vrijeme i vodu. A nećemo se lagati, mnogo je više osvježavajuć od onog koji pak preporučuju dermatolozi.

3 u 1 preporučuju zamijeniti s postepenim pranjem dijelova tijela. Upozoravaju na to ponajprije zato što umivanje, pranje lica pod tušem, nikako nije preporučljivo. Zašto?

Postoji više razloga koji bi vas mogli nagnati da preispitate svoju praksu obavljanja higijene.

Prije svega, kada je riječ o našoj koži, itekako postoji "previše vode", a tuširanje zapravo može rezultirati velikim gubitkom vlage u barijeri kože. Koliko god to na prvu paradoksalno zvučalo.
