Svjetski je tjedan svjesnosti o antibioticima.
Virusne infekcije, kao što je prehlada, gripa ili bolest COVID-a, za razliku od onih bakterijskih, ne liječe se antibioticima. Pogrešnim i prekomjernim propisivanjem, kao i nepravilnom uporabom antibiotika, potiče se otpornost bakterija na tu važnu skupinu lijekova, što povećava rizik za razvoj drugih bolesti i povećanje smrtnosti – istaknuto je na panelu 'Antibiotici nisu bomboni' održanom u povodu Svjetskog tjedna o svjesnosti antibioticima (WAAW) i Europskog dana svjesnosti o antibioticima (EAAD), koji se svake godine obilježava od 18. do 24. studenog, kada neslužbeno otprilike počinje i sezona prehlada i gripe.
Svake godine gotovo 33 tisuće ljudi umire od infekcija uzrokovanih bakterijama koje su otporne na antibiotike, a ukoliko se nastavi trend širenja rezistencije do 2050. godine otporne bakterije bit će vodeći uzrok smrtnosti u svijetu, istaknuto je. Osim toga, virusne infekcije, prehlada i gripa, pa tako i COVID-19, ne liječe se antibioticima, najvažniji su zaključci panela 'Antibiotici nisu bomboni'.
Rezistencija bakterija na antibiotike općenito predstavlja jedan od najvećih izazova 21. stoljeća, kako u svijetu tako i u Hrvatskoj, što osobito dolazi do izražaja u uvjetima epidemije COVID-19.
U skladu sa aktualnim trenutkom, uvodno izlaganje 'Rezistencija bakterija na antibiotike u doba COVID-a', održala je prof. dr. sc. Arjana Tambić Andrašević, dr. med., predsjednica Interdisciplinarne sekcije za kontrolu rezistencije na antibiotike (ISKRA), predsjednica Odbora za praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike Akademije za medicinske znanosti Hrvatske, voditeljica Referentnog centra za rezistenciju bakterija na antibiotike Ministarstva zdravstva, Klinika za infektivne bolesti 'Dr. Fran Mihaljević'.
-U vrijeme COVID-19 epidemije, mnogi problemi današnje medicine došli su još više do izražaja. Tako i problem bakterija rezistentnih na antibiotike.
Iako je COVID-19 bolest uzrokovana virusima i ne liječi se antibioticima, u tijeku invazivnog bolničkog liječenja može doći do sekundarne infekcije bakterijama. Čimbenici koji bolesnike čine podložnima razvoju težeg oblika bolesti COVID-19 (visoka dob, komorbiditeti) ujedno utječu i na teži tijek intenzivnog liječenja, pa su upravo takvi bolesnici i podložniji razvoju sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija.
Uzročnici sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija u bolesnika s COVID-19 su najčešće rezistentne bakterije koje prevladavaju u bolničkoj sredini, tzv. superbakterije, pojasnila je prof. dr. sc. Arjana Tambić Andrašević.
Također je upozorila da, iako svjesni da su teški bolesnici s COVID-19 izuzetno podložni razvoju infekcija povezanih s bolničkom skrbi, u skladu s nultom tolerancijom na razvoj bolničkih infekcija, dužnost je zdravstvenih djelatnika da poduzmu sve kako do sekundarnih infekcija ne bi došlo, stoga je praćenje i kontrola širenja rezistentnih bakterija u vlastitoj sredini važnije nego ikada.
Svjetski tjedan svjesnosti o antibioticima (WAAW) ima za cilj povećati svjesnost o globalnoj zdravstvenoj prijetnji antimikrobne rezistencije, koja bi mogla biti odgovorna za preko 10 milijuna smrtnih slučajeva do 2050. godine ako se ne poduzmu hitne mjere.
Međutim, ovaj tjedan služi poticanju i isticanju dobre prakse među zdravstvenim radnicima i široj javnosti da pokušaju izbjeći daljnje pogoršanje otpornosti bakterija na antibiotike.
Iako se u zadnjih desetak godina situacija u Hrvatskoj poboljšala u smislu smanjenja prekomjernog propisivanja i potrošnje, ipak Hrvati još uvijek uzimaju više antibiotika nego što ih prosječno uzimaju stanovnici nekih zapadnih zemalja Europske Unije.
Postoje jednostavne radnje koje pojedinci mogu poduzeti kako bi se uključili u borbu protiv antibiotske rezistencije:
-uzimanje antibiotika samo kada je potrebno i isključivo prema preporuci liječnika
-ukoliko su antibiotici propisani, uzimaju se sve propisane doze te se ciklus liječenja završava točno onako kako je preporučio liječnik
-nikada se ne uzimaju preostali antibiotici koji su propisani nekoj drugoj osobi
-antibiotici koje je liječnik propisao nikada se ne dijele s drugim osobama
-nikada se samoinicijativno ne uzimaju antibiotici, ukoliko to nije propisao liječnik
-redovito se moraju prati ruke i poštivati druge mjere sprječavanja širenja zaraznih bolesti
U panel raspravi sudjelovali su doc.dr.sc. Maja Mikša, mag. pharm., izvršna direktorica Hrvatskog farmaceutskog društva, prim. Vera Katalinić - Janković, dr. med., pomoćnica ministra zdravstva, prof.dr. sc. Hrvoje Tiljak, dr.med. i Andrea Horvat – Kramarić, glasnogovornica Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti, te kao moderator Sven Pal, dr. med., nacionalni koordinator WAAW i EAAD kampanje ispred ISKRA-e.
Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija upozorila je, navodi se, da je otpornost na antibiotike ozbiljan zdravstveni problem i istaknula da je jedan od ključnih ciljeva poboljšati razumijevanje antimikrobne rezistencije učinkovitom komunikacijom i edukacijom.
Upravo je to i cilj ove kampanje koja se ove godine provodi i na Cvjetnom trgu u Zagrebu.
Osim javno-zdravstvene kampanje bit će održan i stručni Simpozij u organizaciji Odbora za praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike Akademije za medicinske znanosti Hrvatske, kada će se stručnoj zajednici prezentirati najnoviji podaci vezano uz praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike, potrošnje antibiotika te smjernice za liječenje infekcija gornjih dišnih puteva.

Svjetski je tjedan svjesnosti o antibioticima.
Virusne infekcije, kao što je prehlada, gripa ili bolest COVID-a, za razliku od onih bakterijskih, ne liječe se antibioticima. Pogrešnim i prekomjernim propisivanjem, kao i nepravilnom uporabom antibiotika, potiče se otpornost bakterija na tu važnu skupinu lijekova, što povećava rizik za razvoj drugih bolesti i povećanje smrtnosti – istaknuto je na panelu 'Antibiotici nisu bomboni' održanom u povodu Svjetskog tjedna o svjesnosti antibioticima (WAAW) i Europskog dana svjesnosti o antibioticima (EAAD), koji se svake godine obilježava od 18. do 24. studenog, kada neslužbeno otprilike počinje i sezona prehlada i gripe.
Svake godine gotovo 33 tisuće ljudi umire od infekcija uzrokovanih bakterijama koje su otporne na antibiotike, a ukoliko se nastavi trend širenja rezistencije do 2050. godine otporne bakterije bit će vodeći uzrok smrtnosti u svijetu, istaknuto je. Osim toga, virusne infekcije, prehlada i gripa, pa tako i COVID-19, ne liječe se antibioticima, najvažniji su zaključci panela 'Antibiotici nisu bomboni'.
Rezistencija bakterija na antibiotike općenito predstavlja jedan od najvećih izazova 21. stoljeća, kako u svijetu tako i u Hrvatskoj, što osobito dolazi do izražaja u uvjetima epidemije COVID-19.
U skladu sa aktualnim trenutkom, uvodno izlaganje 'Rezistencija bakterija na antibiotike u doba COVID-a', održala je prof. dr. sc. Arjana Tambić Andrašević, dr. med., predsjednica Interdisciplinarne sekcije za kontrolu rezistencije na antibiotike (ISKRA), predsjednica Odbora za praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike Akademije za medicinske znanosti Hrvatske, voditeljica Referentnog centra za rezistenciju bakterija na antibiotike Ministarstva zdravstva, Klinika za infektivne bolesti 'Dr. Fran Mihaljević'.
-U vrijeme COVID-19 epidemije, mnogi problemi današnje medicine došli su još više do izražaja. Tako i problem bakterija rezistentnih na antibiotike.
Iako je COVID-19 bolest uzrokovana virusima i ne liječi se antibioticima, u tijeku invazivnog bolničkog liječenja može doći do sekundarne infekcije bakterijama. Čimbenici koji bolesnike čine podložnima razvoju težeg oblika bolesti COVID-19 (visoka dob, komorbiditeti) ujedno utječu i na teži tijek intenzivnog liječenja, pa su upravo takvi bolesnici i podložniji razvoju sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija.
Uzročnici sekundarnih bakterijskih infekcija u bolesnika s COVID-19 su najčešće rezistentne bakterije koje prevladavaju u bolničkoj sredini, tzv. superbakterije, pojasnila je prof. dr. sc. Arjana Tambić Andrašević.
Također je upozorila da, iako svjesni da su teški bolesnici s COVID-19 izuzetno podložni razvoju infekcija povezanih s bolničkom skrbi, u skladu s nultom tolerancijom na razvoj bolničkih infekcija, dužnost je zdravstvenih djelatnika da poduzmu sve kako do sekundarnih infekcija ne bi došlo, stoga je praćenje i kontrola širenja rezistentnih bakterija u vlastitoj sredini važnije nego ikada.
Svjetski tjedan svjesnosti o antibioticima (WAAW) ima za cilj povećati svjesnost o globalnoj zdravstvenoj prijetnji antimikrobne rezistencije, koja bi mogla biti odgovorna za preko 10 milijuna smrtnih slučajeva do 2050. godine ako se ne poduzmu hitne mjere.
Međutim, ovaj tjedan služi poticanju i isticanju dobre prakse među zdravstvenim radnicima i široj javnosti da pokušaju izbjeći daljnje pogoršanje otpornosti bakterija na antibiotike.
Iako se u zadnjih desetak godina situacija u Hrvatskoj poboljšala u smislu smanjenja prekomjernog propisivanja i potrošnje, ipak Hrvati još uvijek uzimaju više antibiotika nego što ih prosječno uzimaju stanovnici nekih zapadnih zemalja Europske Unije.
Postoje jednostavne radnje koje pojedinci mogu poduzeti kako bi se uključili u borbu protiv antibiotske rezistencije:
-uzimanje antibiotika samo kada je potrebno i isključivo prema preporuci liječnika
-ukoliko su antibiotici propisani, uzimaju se sve propisane doze te se ciklus liječenja završava točno onako kako je preporučio liječnik
-nikada se ne uzimaju preostali antibiotici koji su propisani nekoj drugoj osobi
-antibiotici koje je liječnik propisao nikada se ne dijele s drugim osobama
-nikada se samoinicijativno ne uzimaju antibiotici, ukoliko to nije propisao liječnik
-redovito se moraju prati ruke i poštivati druge mjere sprječavanja širenja zaraznih bolesti
U panel raspravi sudjelovali su doc.dr.sc. Maja Mikša, mag. pharm., izvršna direktorica Hrvatskog farmaceutskog društva, prim. Vera Katalinić - Janković, dr. med., pomoćnica ministra zdravstva, prof.dr. sc. Hrvoje Tiljak, dr.med. i Andrea Horvat – Kramarić, glasnogovornica Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti, te kao moderator Sven Pal, dr. med., nacionalni koordinator WAAW i EAAD kampanje ispred ISKRA-e.
Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija upozorila je, navodi se, da je otpornost na antibiotike ozbiljan zdravstveni problem i istaknula da je jedan od ključnih ciljeva poboljšati razumijevanje antimikrobne rezistencije učinkovitom komunikacijom i edukacijom.
Upravo je to i cilj ove kampanje koja se ove godine provodi i na Cvjetnom trgu u Zagrebu.
Osim javno-zdravstvene kampanje bit će održan i stručni Simpozij u organizaciji Odbora za praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike Akademije za medicinske znanosti Hrvatske, kada će se stručnoj zajednici prezentirati najnoviji podaci vezano uz praćenje rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike, potrošnje antibiotika te smjernice za liječenje infekcija gornjih dišnih puteva.
