Japanska tvrtka Fujifilm objavila je u srijedu da je njezin lijek Avigan, već odobren za tešku grupu, omogućio "statistički značajno" smanjenje vremena ozdravljenja pacijenata oboljelih od bolesti Covid-19.

Od 156 pacijenata uključenih u kliničko testiranje III. faze u Japanu, prosječno trajanje oporavka je bilo 11,9 dana za one koji su liječeni lijekom Avigan i 14,7 dana za one koji su dobivali placebo, objašnjava tvrtka u priopćenju.

Kraj oporavka je određen u trenutku kada koronavirus više nije bio otkriven putem PCR testova, i ublaženi su ili su nestali drugi simptomi poput temperature.

Kliničko testiranje je bilo usmjereno na pacijente s lakšim upalama pluća povezanim s Covid-19. Vođeno od ožujka, sada završeno, nije otkrilo nikakve nove opasnosti za zdravlje povezane s uzimanjem Avigana, precizira Fujifilm.

Tvrtka će sada provesti "detaljnu analizu podataka" skupljenih tijekom testiranja i predviđa u listopadu predati zahtjev za komercijalno odobrenje lijeka za covid-19 u Japanu. 

Lijek Avigan (favipiravir) je dozvoljen od 2014. u Japanu, ali samo za liječenje teških slučajeva gripe kada standardni lijekovi nisu bili učinkoviti.

Avigan je kontraindiciran za trudnice jer su testiranja na životinjama pokazala da utječe na razvoj fetusa. 

Japanska vlada puno očekuje od tog lijeka i tražila je od Fujifilma da poveća proizvodnju i isporuči besplatne uzroke nekim zemljama koje su ga tražile. 

Japan je već u svibnju odobrio lijek Veklury (remdesivir) američkog Gileada i osigurao si isporuke stotine milijuna doza raznih cjepiva protiv Covid-19.

Japanska tvrtka Fujifilm objavila je u srijedu da je njezin lijek Avigan, već odobren za tešku grupu, omogućio "statistički značajno" smanjenje vremena ozdravljenja pacijenata oboljelih od bolesti Covid-19.

Od 156 pacijenata uključenih u kliničko testiranje III. faze u Japanu, prosječno trajanje oporavka je bilo 11,9 dana za one koji su liječeni lijekom Avigan i 14,7 dana za one koji su dobivali placebo, objašnjava tvrtka u priopćenju.

Kraj oporavka je određen u trenutku kada koronavirus više nije bio otkriven putem PCR testova, i ublaženi su ili su nestali drugi simptomi poput temperature.

Kliničko testiranje je bilo usmjereno na pacijente s lakšim upalama pluća povezanim s Covid-19. Vođeno od ožujka, sada završeno, nije otkrilo nikakve nove opasnosti za zdravlje povezane s uzimanjem Avigana, precizira Fujifilm.

Tvrtka će sada provesti "detaljnu analizu podataka" skupljenih tijekom testiranja i predviđa u listopadu predati zahtjev za komercijalno odobrenje lijeka za covid-19 u Japanu. 

Lijek Avigan (favipiravir) je dozvoljen od 2014. u Japanu, ali samo za liječenje teških slučajeva gripe kada standardni lijekovi nisu bili učinkoviti.

Avigan je kontraindiciran za trudnice jer su testiranja na životinjama pokazala da utječe na razvoj fetusa. 

Japanska vlada puno očekuje od tog lijeka i tražila je od Fujifilma da poveća proizvodnju i isporuči besplatne uzroke nekim zemljama koje su ga tražile. 

Japan je već u svibnju odobrio lijek Veklury (remdesivir) američkog Gileada i osigurao si isporuke stotine milijuna doza raznih cjepiva protiv Covid-19.

Iz Japana stižu dobre vijesti za oboljele od Covid-19: lijek Avigan prema kliničkim istraživanjima značajno skraćuje vrijeme ozdravljenja

Japanska tvrtka Fujifilm objavila je u srijedu da je njezin lijek Avigan, već odobren za tešku grupu, omogućio "statistički značajno" smanjenje vremena ozdravljenja pacijenata oboljelih od bolesti Covid-19.

Od 156 pacijenata uključenih u kliničko testiranje III. faze u Japanu, prosječno trajanje oporavka je bilo 11,9 dana za one koji su liječeni lijekom Avigan i 14,7 dana za one koji su dobivali placebo, objašnjava tvrtka u priopćenju.

Kraj oporavka je određen u trenutku kada koronavirus više nije bio otkriven putem PCR testova, i ublaženi su ili su nestali drugi simptomi poput temperature.

Kliničko testiranje je bilo usmjereno na pacijente s lakšim upalama pluća povezanim s Covid-19. Vođeno od ožujka, sada završeno, nije otkrilo nikakve nove opasnosti za zdravlje pove...
