Muškarci čiji su očevi imali poteškoća s plodnošću i sami imaju spermije slabije kvalitete, objavio je stručni časopis Human Reproduction, a prenio BBC News.

Nalazi belgijskih znanstvenika s Universiteit Brussels dobiveni su analizom spermija prikupljenih od 107 ispitanika u dobi od 18 do 22 godine. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako muškarci, začeti medicinski potpomognutom oplodnjom, zbog poteškoća s plodnošću očeva, imaju prosječno upola manji ukupni broj spermija i upola manje pokretljivih spermija.

Uz to, kod njih su zabilježeni trostruko veći izgledi za koncentraciju spermija ispod normalne razine od 15 milijuna spermija po mililitru sjemene tekućine. Ovi ispitanici su imali i četverostruko veći rizik da će im ukupan broj spermija u testiranim uzorcima biti manji od 39 milijuna.

Muškarci čiji su očevi imali poteškoća s plodnošću i sami imaju spermije slabije kvalitete, objavio je stručni časopis Human Reproduction, a prenio BBC News.

Nalazi belgijskih znanstvenika s Universiteit Brussels dobiveni su analizom spermija prikupljenih od 107 ispitanika u dobi od 18 do 22 godine. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako muškarci, začeti medicinski potpomognutom oplodnjom, zbog poteškoća s plodnošću očeva, imaju prosječno upola manji ukupni broj spermija i upola manje pokretljivih spermija.

Uz to, kod njih su zabilježeni trostruko veći izgledi za koncentraciju spermija ispod normalne razine od 15 milijuna spermija po mililitru sjemene tekućine. Ovi ispitanici su imali i četverostruko veći rizik da će im ukupan broj spermija u testiranim uzorcima biti manji od 39 milijuna.
