Dijabetes tip 2 šalje jasne signale da vaše tijelo ne procesira inzulin pravilno. Inzulin je hormon koji je odgovoran za kontrolu razine šećera u krvi - glavnog tipa šećera koji se nalazi u krvi. Kad ovaj mehanizam ne funkcionira, razina šećera u krvi može porasti do opasnih vrijednosti. Srećom, pažljivim odabirom hrane i pića tijelo se od toga može zaštititi. Tri šalice čaja
Šećer raste uslijed razgradnje hrane u glukozu. No, pokazalo se da čaj od kamilice ublažava takav učinak hrane na razinu šećera u krvi. Čaj od kamilice se priprema od cvjetova istoimene biljke koja se od davnina koristi u tradicionalnoj medicini. Istraživanje provedeno u Iranu i objavljeno u časopisu Journal otkrilo je da ispijanje 3 šalice čaja od kamilice dnevno može poboljšati reguliranje razine šećera u krvi kod osoba s dijabetesom tip 2.

Znanstvenici s Tabriz University of Medical Sciences imali su za cilj istražiti učinak čaja od kamilice na kontrolu glikemije (u kojoj mjeri hrana utječe na razinu šećera) i razinu antioksidansa kod osoba s dijabetesom tip 2. Antioksidansi su kemikalije koje štite od oštećenja stanica ili ga odgađaju. 64 sudionika istraživanja oboljelih od dijabetesa tip 2, koji su bili u dobi između 30 i 60 godina, konzumirali su čaj od kamilice tri puta dnevno "neposredno” nakon obroka tijekom osam tjedana. Kontrolna skupina je umjesto čaja od kamilice pila vodu.
Autori istraživanja su otkrili da je skupina koja je pila čaj od kamilice imala znatno snižene vrijednosti HbA1c i razinu inzulina u serumu, kao i značajno pojačanu antioksidantnu aktivnost u usporedbi s kontrolnom skupinom. HbA1c je prosječna razina šećera u krvi tijekom protekla dva do tri mjeseca.
- Kratkoročno pijenje čaja od kamilice ima povoljan utjecaj na reguliranje glikemije i antioksidansi status kod oboljelih od dijabetesa tip 2 - zaključili su znanstvenici dodavši da je potrebno provesti ispitivanje na većem uzorku te tijekom dužeg vremenskog perioda kako bi se dokazalo značajnije kliničko poboljšanje stanja oboljelih.

Kako biste izbjegli glavne krivce za naglo podizanje razine šećera u krvi, trebali biste obratiti pažnju na glikemijski indeks namirnica. Dijabetes tip 2 šalje jasne signale da vaše tijelo ne procesira inzulin pravilno. Inzulin je hormon koji je odgovoran za kontrolu razine šećera u krvi - glavnog tipa šećera koji se nalazi u krvi. Kad ovaj mehanizam ne funkcionira, razina šećera u krvi može porasti do opasnih vrijednosti. Srećom, pažljivim odabirom hrane i pića tijelo se od toga može zaštititi. Tri šalice čaja
Šećer raste uslijed razgradnje hrane u glukozu. No, pokazalo se da čaj od kamilice ublažava takav učinak hrane na razinu šećera u krvi. Čaj od kamilice se priprema od cvjetova istoimene biljke koja se od davnina koristi u tradicionalnoj medicini. Istraživanje provedeno u Iranu i objavljeno u časopisu Journal otkrilo je da ispijanje 3 šalice čaja od kamilice dnevno može poboljšati reguliranje razine šećera u krvi kod osoba s dijabetesom tip 2.

Znanstvenici s Tabriz University of Medical Sciences imali su za cilj istražiti učinak čaja od kamilice na kontrolu glikemije (u kojoj mjeri hrana utječe na razinu šećera) i razinu antioksidansa kod osoba s dijabetesom tip 2. Antioksidansi su kemikalije koje štite od oštećenja stanica ili ga odgađaju. 64 sudionika istraživanja oboljelih od dijabetesa tip 2, koji su bili u dobi između 30 i 60 godina, konzumirali su čaj od kamilice tri puta dnevno "neposredno” nakon obroka tijekom osam tjedana. Kontrolna skupina je umjesto čaja od kamilice pila vodu.
Autori istraživanja su otkrili da je skupina koja je pila čaj od kamilice imala znatno snižene vrijednosti HbA1c i razinu inzulina u serumu, kao i značajno pojačanu antioksidantnu aktivnost u usporedbi s kontrolnom skupinom. HbA1c je prosječna razina šećera u krvi tijekom protekla dva do tri mjeseca.
- Kratkoročno pijenje čaja od kamilice ima povoljan utjecaj na reguliranje glikemije i antioksidansi status kod oboljelih od dijabetesa tip 2 - zaključili su znanstvenici dodavši da je potrebno provesti ispitivanje na većem uzorku te tijekom dužeg vremenskog perioda kako bi se dokazalo značajnije kliničko poboljšanje stanja oboljelih.
Opći savjeti
Kako biste izbjegli glavne krivce za naglo podizanje razine šećera u krvi, trebali biste obratiti pažnju na glikemijski indeks namirnica. On nam pokazuje koliko brzo određena hrana utječe na razinu šećera u krvi (kad se jede sama). Namirnice koje sadrže ugljikohidrate tijelo razgrađuje brzo pa dolazi do naglog povećanja razine šećera u krvi. Takve namirnice stoga imaju visok GI (glikemijski indeks).
