Enteroviroze, prema Zavodu za javno zdravstvo, su skupina bolesti uzrokovanih enterovirusima koje mogu imati razne kliničke manifestacije poznate pod različitim nazivima ovisno o tome koji organ zahvaćaju. Težina kliničke slike je različita i varira od vrlo blage do izrazito teške. Kakva će klinička slika biti ovisi o vrsti i količini unesenih virusa kao i o stanju organizma. Mnoge infekcije enterovirusima prolaze bez većih posljedica i samoizlječenjem, no zbog svoje učestalosti opterećuju zdravstvene službe. Ponekad se mogu javiti i u obliku epidemija, posebice u kolektivima (dječji vrtići, škole, bolnice i sl.), piše Jutarnji list.

Novorođenčad i osobe s oslabljenim imunološkim sustavom su pod povećanim rizikom od razvoja težih kliničkih slika i mogućih komplikacija.

Koji su simptomi bolesti?

Prema nazivu enteroviroze prvi dojam je kako se radi o infekciji probavnog sustava i da je neposredna posljedica te infekcije proljev. Međutim ti proljevi nikada ne dominiraju kliničkom slikom enteroviroza, a stolice budu mekše i formirane. Istina je da enterovirusi nastanjuju u prvom redu crijevo čovjeka, ali mogu odande dospjeti i u krv te doći do mnogih organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava. Zbog toga će simptomi ovisiti o tipu enterovirusa kojim se osoba zarazila. Visoka temperatura, povraćanje, proljev, glavobolja, bolovi u mišićima samo su neki od simptoma bolesti. Postoje neke enterovirusne bolesti koje imaju tipičnu kliničku sliku. Jedna od njih je bolest šaka, stopala i usta. Ona spada u enterovirusne bolesti koje su karakterizirane osipom. Te promjene su prisutne na koži trupa i ekstremiteta, ali i oko usta, i u usnoj šupljini. Kod herpangine promjene su na sluznici ždrijela i mekog nepca (vezikulozni enantemi). Različite kliničke slike i simptomi bolesti javljaju se kada enterovirusi dospiju do organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava. Tako mogu izazvati paralitičku bolest (sindrom poliomijelitisa), encefalitis (upalu mozga) i serozni meningitis (upalu moždanih ovojnica), pleurodiniju (bornholmsku bolest), osip, miokarditis (upalu srčanog mišića), perikarditis (upalu srčane ovojnice), te nespecifične bolesti s povišenom temperaturom.

Kako se prenose enteroviroze?

Enteroviroze se prenose izravno do osobe na osobu dodirom, te neizravno fekalno-oralnim putem (bolesti prljavih ruku). Neke enteroviroze mogu uzrokovati respiratorne simptome i tada se uzročnik može širiti i kapljičnim putem. Iznimno onečišćena voda i hrana kao i prijenos preko vektora (muhe, žohari) može dovesti do nastanka bolesti.

Koliko dugo je oboljeli zarazan za druge?

Period inkubacije ne može se točno odrediti jer je izvor infekcije najčešće osoba bez znakova bolesti. Smatra se da inkubacija traje od 2 dana do 2 tjedna, a najčešće 3-5 dana. Inficirane osobe izlučuju virus stolicom i iz sekreta ždrijela nekoliko dana prije i nekoliko tjedana nakon početka simptoma. Najveća zaraznost je u početku bolesti.

Kako se enterovirusne bolesti liječe?

Kako se radi o virusnim bolestima, mogućnosti liječenja su ograničene, stoga se u većini slučajeva liječi simptomatski. Primjena antivirusnih i imunomodulirajućih lijekova za liječenje enteroviroza za sada još uvijek nema širu primjenu.

Enteroviroze, prema Zavodu za javno zdravstvo, su skupina bolesti uzrokovanih enterovirusima koje mogu imati razne kliničke manifestacije poznate pod različitim nazivima ovisno o tome koji organ zahvaćaju. Težina kliničke slike je različita i varira od vrlo blage do izrazito teške. Kakva će klinička slika biti ovisi o vrsti i količini unesenih virusa kao i o stanju organizma. Mnoge infekcije enterovirusima prolaze bez većih posljedica i samoizlječenjem, no zbog svoje učestalosti opterećuju zdravstvene službe. Ponekad se mogu javiti i u obliku epidemija, posebice u kolektivima (dječji vrtići, škole, bolnice i sl.), piše Jutarnji list.

Novorođenčad i osobe s oslabljenim imunološkim sustavom su pod povećanim rizikom od razvoja težih kliničkih slika i mogućih komplikacija.

Koji su simptomi bolesti?

Prema nazivu enteroviroze prvi dojam je kako se radi o infekciji probavnog sustava i da je neposredna posljedica te infekcije proljev. Međutim ti proljevi nikada ne dominiraju kliničkom slikom enteroviroza, a stolice budu mekše i formirane. Istina je da enterovirusi nastanjuju u prvom redu crijevo čovjeka, ali mogu odande dospjeti i u krv te doći do mnogih organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava. Zbog toga će simptomi ovisiti o tipu enterovirusa kojim se osoba zarazila. Visoka temperatura, povraćanje, proljev, glavobolja, bolovi u mišićima samo su neki od simptoma bolesti. Postoje neke enterovirusne bolesti koje imaju tipičnu kliničku sliku. Jedna od njih je bolest šaka, stopala i usta. Ona spada u enterovirusne bolesti koje su karakterizirane osipom. Te promjene su prisutne na koži trupa i ekstremiteta, ali i oko usta, i u usnoj šupljini. Kod herpangine promjene su na sluznici ždrijela i mekog nepca (vezikulozni enantemi). Različite kliničke slike i simptomi bolesti javljaju se kada enterovirusi dospiju do organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava. Tako mogu izazvati paralitičku bolest (sindrom poliomijelitisa), encefalitis (upalu mozga) i serozni meningitis (upalu moždanih ovojnica), pleurodiniju (bornholmsku bolest), osip, miokarditis (upalu srčanog mišića), perikarditis (upalu srčane ovojnice), te nespecifične bolesti s povišenom temperaturom.

Kako se prenose enteroviroze?

Enteroviroze se prenose izravno do osobe na osobu dodirom, te neizravno fekalno-oralnim putem (bolesti prljavih ruku). Neke enteroviroze mogu uzrokovati respiratorne simptome i tada se uzročnik može širiti i kapljičnim putem. Iznimno onečišćena voda i hrana kao i prijenos preko vektora (muhe, žohari) može dovesti do nastanka bolesti.

Koliko dugo je oboljeli zarazan za druge?

Period inkubacije ne može se točno odrediti jer je izvor infekcije najčešće osoba bez znakova bolesti. Smatra se da inkubacija traje od 2 dana do 2 tjedna, a najčešće 3-5 dana. Inficirane osobe izlučuju virus stolicom i iz sekreta ždrijela nekoliko dana prije i nekoliko tjedana nakon početka simptoma. Najveća zaraznost je u početku bolesti.

Kako se enterovirusne bolesti liječe?

Kako se radi o virusnim bolestima, mogućnosti liječenja su ograničene, stoga se u većini slučajeva liječi simptomatski. Primjena antivirusnih i imunomodulirajućih lijekova za liječenje enteroviroza za sada još uvijek nema širu primjenu.

Enteroviroze, prema Zavodu za javno zdravstvo, su skupina bolesti uzrokovanih enterovirusima koje mogu imati razne kliničke manifestacije poznate pod različitim nazivima ovisno o tome koji organ zahvaćaju. Težina kliničke slike je različita i varira od vrlo blage do izrazito teške. Kakva će klinička slika biti ovisi o vrsti i količini unesenih virusa kao i o stanju organizma. Mnoge infekcije enterovirusima prolaze bez većih posljedica i samoizlječenjem, no zbog svoje učestalosti opterećuju zdravstvene službe. Ponekad se mogu javiti i u obliku epidemija, posebice u kolektivima (dječji vrtići, škole, bolnice i sl.), piše Jutarnji list.

Novorođenčad i osobe s oslabljenim imunološkim sustavom su pod povećanim rizikom od razvoja težih kliničkih slika i mogućih komplikacija.

Koji su simptomi bolesti?

Prema nazivu enteroviroze prvi dojam je kako se radi o infekciji probavnog sustava i da je neposredna posljedica te infekcije proljev. Međutim ti proljevi nikada ne dominiraju kliničkom slikom enteroviroza, a stolice budu mekše i formirane. Istina je da enterovirusi nastanjuju u prvom redu crijevo čovjeka, ali mogu odande dospjeti i u krv te doći do mnogih organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava. Zbog toga će simptomi ovisiti o tipu enterovirusa kojim se osoba zarazila. Visoka temperatura, povraćanje, proljev, glavobolja, bolovi u mišićima samo su neki od simptoma bolesti. Postoje neke enterovirusne bolesti koje imaju tipičnu kliničku sliku. Jedna od njih je bolest šaka, stopala i usta. Ona spada u enterovirusne bolesti koje su karakterizirane osipom. Te promjene su prisutne na koži trupa i ekstremiteta, ali i oko usta, i u usnoj šupljini. Kod herpangine promjene su na sluznici ždrijela i mekog nepca (vezikulozni enantemi). Različite kliničke slike i simptomi bolesti javljaju se kada enterovirusi dospiju do organa i središnjeg živčanog sustava.
