Delta-varijanta (poznata i kao indijska varijanta) koronavirusa je mnogo zaraznija od mutacija koje su se do sada širile - također i od alfa-tipa (dosadašnje britanske varijante): prema analizi podataka Britanske zdravstvene službe (PHE), rizik od zaraze članova domaćinstva je, procjenjuje se, za 60 posto veći, navodi Deutsche Welle. 

To povećava opasnost za ljude koji su prethodno samo jednom cijepljeni protiv koronavirusa. Laboratorijski testovi ukazuju na to da se ovi virusi ubrzanije umnožavaju u tijelu.

Ono što je važno znati za predstojeće ljetne tjedne: sezonalnost delta-varijante mnogo je izraženija nego što se na početku pretpostavljalo, izjavio je političar njemačkog SPD-a, koji se bavi zdravstvom, Karl Lauterbach za javni servis RBB, pozivajući se na istraživanje Sveučilišta u Oxfordu. To znači da je ljeti rizik od zaraze mnogo manji.

Koji su simptomi delta-varijante?

Delta-varijanta se također smatra rizičnom jer očito uzrokuje nešto drugačije simptome od ranije poznatih varijanti koronavirusa. Oboljele osobe se žale na glavobolju, curenje nosa i upalu grla.

Temperatura je i kod ove varijante prisutna, ali ne i gubitak čula mirisa i okusa, istaknuto je u prijavama inficiranih osoba putem britanske aplikacije za praćenje simptoma koronavirusa.

To znači da se Covid-19 kod mlađe populacije više manifestira kao prehlada, rekao je Tim Spector s King's Collegea u Londonu, koji je analizirao rezultate studije.

Kojom brzinom se širi?

Delta-varijanta se vrlo brzo širi. To se pokazalo u Velikoj Britaniji, gdje je oko 58 posto odraslih već primilo dvije doze cjepiva potrebne za potpunu zaštitu. „Trenutno postoji porast od oko 50 posto svakog tjedna," rekla je Sandra Ciesek. "To je naravno signal upozorenja", pojašnjava šefica Instituta za medicinsku virologiju pri Sveučilišnoj klinici u Frankfurtu na Majni.

Sedmodnevna incidencija u Velikoj Britaniji, koja je početkom svibnja spala ispod 20, sada se ponovo povećala na preko 70 novih zaraza na 100.000 stanovnika u roku od sedam dana. Zbog toga je premijer Boris Johnson za četiri tjedna odgodio ukidanje svih mjera protiv širenja koronavirusa u Engleskoj, planirano za 21. lipnja.

Koliko cjepivo štiti od delta-varijante?

Prema analizi podataka britanskog PHE-a, osobe koje su u potpunosti cijepljene BioNTech-om ili AstraZenecom vrlo su dobro zaštićene od teškog protoka bolesti. Efikasnost je, kako je istaknuto, otprilike jednako visoka kao i kod alfa-varijante. Rizik od hospitalizacije smanjen je za više od 90 posto - u usporedbi s osobama koje nisu cijepljene.

Oni koji su primili samo jednu dozu vakcine su značajno manje zaštićeni. Naročito kod cjepiva AstraZeneca, koje inače dobro štiti, nakon prvog cijepljenja, kako je pokazala analiza, učinak zaštite bio je primjetno niži.

Delta-varijanta (poznata i kao indijska varijanta) koronavirusa je mnogo zaraznija od mutacija koje su se do sada širile - također i od alfa-tipa (dosadašnje britanske varijante): prema analizi podataka Britanske zdravstvene službe (PHE), rizik od zaraze članova domaćinstva je, procjenjuje se, za 60 posto veći, navodi Deutsche Welle. 

To povećava opasnost za ljude koji su prethodno samo jednom cijepljeni protiv koronavirusa. Laboratorijski testovi ukazuju na to da se ovi virusi ubrzanije umnožavaju u tijelu.

Ono što je važno znati za predstojeće ljetne tjedne: sezonalnost delta-varijante mnogo je izraženija nego što se na početku pretpostavljalo, izjavio je političar njemačkog SPD-a, koji se bavi zdravstvom, Karl Lauterbach za javni servis RBB, pozivajući se na istraživanje Sveučilišta u Oxfordu. To znači da je ljeti rizik od zaraze mnogo manji.

Koji su simptomi delta-varijante?

Delta-varijanta se također smatra rizičnom jer očito uzrokuje nešto drugačije simptome od ranije poznatih varijanti koronavirusa. Oboljele osobe se žale na glavobolju, curenje nosa i upalu grla.

Temperatura je i kod ove varijante prisutna, ali ne i gubitak čula mirisa i okusa, istaknuto je u prijavama inficiranih osoba putem britanske aplikacije za praćenje simptoma koronavirusa.

To znači da se Covid-19 kod mlađe populacije više manifestira kao prehlada, rekao je Tim Spector s King's Collegea u Londonu, koji je analizirao rezultate studije.

Kojom brzinom se širi?

Delta-varijanta se vrlo brzo širi. To se pokazalo u Velikoj Britaniji, gdje je oko 58 posto odraslih već primilo dvije doze cjepiva potrebne za potpunu zaštitu. „Trenutno postoji porast od oko 50 posto svakog tjedna," rekla je Sandra Ciesek. "To je naravno signal upozorenja", pojašnjava šefica Instituta za medicinsku virologiju pri Sveučilišnoj klinici u Frankfurtu na Majni.

Sedmodnevna incidencija u Velikoj Britaniji, koja je početkom svibnja spala ispod 20, sada se ponovo povećala na preko 70 novih zaraza na 100.000 stanovnika u roku od sedam dana. Zbog toga je premijer Boris Johnson za četiri tjedna odgodio ukidanje svih mjera protiv širenja koronavirusa u Engleskoj, planirano za 21. lipnja.

Koliko cjepivo štiti od delta-varijante?

Prema analizi podataka britanskog PHE-a, osobe koje su u potpunosti cijepljene BioNTech-om ili AstraZenecom vrlo su dobro zaštićene od teškog protoka bolesti. Efikasnost je, kako je istaknuto, otprilike jednako visoka kao i kod alfa-varijante. Rizik od hospitalizacije smanjen je za više od 90 posto - u usporedbi s osobama koje nisu cijepljene.

Oni koji su primili samo jednu dozu vakcine su značajno manje zaštićeni. Naročito kod cjepiva AstraZeneca, koje inače dobro štiti, nakon prvog cijepljenja, kako je pokazala analiza, učinak zaštite bio je primjetno niži.

Delta-varijanta (poznata i kao indijska varijanta) koronavirusa je mnogo zaraznija od mutacija koje su se do sada širile - također i od alfa-tipa (dosadašnje britanske varijante): prema analizi podataka Britanske zdravstvene službe (PHE), rizik od zaraze članova domaćinstva je, procjenjuje se, za 60 posto veći, navodi Deutsche Welle. 

To povećava opasnost za ljude koji su prethodno samo jednom cijepljeni protiv koronavirusa. Laboratorijski testovi ukazuju na to da se ovi virusi ubrzanije umnožavaju u tijelu.

Ono što je važno znati za predstojeće ljetne tjedne: sezonalnost delta-varijante mnogo je izraženija nego što se na početku pretpostavljalo, izjavio je političar njemačkog SPD-a, koji se bavi zdravstvom, Karl Lauterbach za javni servis RBB, pozivajući se na istraživanje Sveu...
