Čak i ako niste poklonici stolnjaka, ipak ima situacija kad stol treba prekriti radi svečanijeg doživljaja. Iskusne domaćice znaju već otprilike kakva je vrsta tkanine najbolja za stolnjak, barem što se tiče održavanja. Svaka želi dobar stolnjak oko kojeg nema puno brige i rada, mučnog peglanja, prije toga kvašenja, vlaženja, pa dugotrajnog pritiskanja glačalom... U tom smislu su najgori platneni stolnjaci, a Ivana Hađina, jedina hrvatska tkalja stolnjaka s etno motivima i vlasnica brenda "Etno motiv", otkriva nam prednosti tkanja od lana.

- Laneno platno ili tkanina najčvršća je prirodna tkanina na svijetu, čak 30 posto čvršća od pamuka, što znači da je iznimno izdržljiva i dugotrajna, tako da stolnjak od lana može trajati godinama, ako se pravilno održava - kaže Ivana te podsjeća da je lan najstarija kultivirana biljka koju su uzgajali još u drevnom Egiptu. I što je najbolje u današnje vrijeme, u potpunosti je biorazgradiva.

Najbolja karakteristika lanene tkanine je što dugotrajnom upotrebom postaje sve ljepša i sve mekša. Bezvremenska je i uvijek u modi, idealna za svakodnevne i svečane trenutke, a stol će učiniti zvijezdom u svakom domu.

- Naši stolnjaci napravljeni su od mekanog lana, dobiveni tzv. "stonewashed" obradom (tkanina se pere zajedno s kamenjem), čime su od samog početka izuzetno mekane i podatne strukture te blago ispranih boja.

Svi stolnjaci i nadstolnjaci "Etno motiva" imaju prekrasan volan na svojim krajevima te su dostupni u sivoj ili zelenoj boji.

Iz "Etno motiva" imamo i savjete kako održavati stolnjake od lana.

- Lan ne podnosi agresivne deterdžente jer izbljeđuju boju i oslabljuju tkaninu, stoga ga perite blagim sredstvima za pranje u kojima nema izbjeljivača. U slučaju nastalih mrlja, najbolje ih je što prije odstraniti jer će se u suprotnom upiti duboko u tkaninu i poslije ćete ih teško odstraniti. Najbolji način za odstranjivanje je kombinacija vode i deterdženta, sode ili sapuna, a u slučaju tvrdokornih mrlja, špricanje sodom bikarbonom i octom trebalo bi riješiti problem.

"Stonewashed" lan je najljepši kad je prirodno izgužvan, što znači da ga nije potrebno peglati.

- Ako ipak više volite da je sve uredno, možete ga ispeglati na blagoj temperaturi. Sušenje u sušilici je u redu, ali pripazite da ga izvadite dok je još blago vlažan, kao i većinu odjeće za koju ne želite da se izgužva do neprepoznatljivosti.

Laneni stolnjak je svestran i luksuzan dodatak uređenju doma, bilo da ga izabirete za sebe ili kao poklon koji će trajati doslovno zauvijek.

Čak i ako niste poklonici stolnjaka, ipak ima situacija kad stol treba prekriti radi svečanijeg doživljaja. Iskusne domaćice znaju već otprilike kakva je vrsta tkanine najbolja za stolnjak, barem što se tiče održavanja. Svaka želi dobar stolnjak oko kojeg nema puno brige i rada, mučnog peglanja, prije toga kvašenja, vlaženja, pa dugotrajnog pritiskanja glačalom... U tom smislu su najgori platneni stolnjaci, a Ivana Hađina, jedina hrvatska tkalja stolnjaka s etno motivima i vlasnica brenda "Etno motiv", otkriva nam prednosti tkanja od lana.

- Laneno platno ili tkanina najčvršća je prirodna tkanina na svijetu, čak 30 posto čvršća od pamuka, što znači da je iznimno izdržljiva i dugotrajna, tako da stolnjak od lana može trajati godinama, ako se pravilno održava - kaže Ivana te podsjeća da je lan najstarija kultivirana biljka koju su uzgajali još u drevnom Egiptu. I što je najbolje u današnje vrijeme, u potpunosti je biorazgradiva.

Najbolja karakteristika lanene tkanine je što dugotrajnom upotrebom postaje sve ljepša i sve mekša. Bezvremenska je i uvijek u modi, idealna za svakodnevne i svečane trenutke, a stol će učiniti zvijezdom u svakom domu.

- Naši stolnjaci napravljeni su od mekanog lana, dobiveni tzv. "stonewashed" obradom (tkanina se pere zajedno s kamenjem), čime su od samog početka izuzetno mekane i podatne strukture te blago ispranih boja.

Svi stolnjaci i nadstolnjaci "Etno motiva" imaju prekrasan volan na svojim krajevima te su dostupni u sivoj ili zelenoj boji.

Iz "Etno motiva" imamo i savjete kako održavati stolnjake od lana.

- Lan ne podnosi agresivne deterdžente jer izbljeđuju boju i oslabljuju tkaninu, stoga ga perite blagim sredstvima za pranje u kojima nema izbjeljivača. U slučaju nastalih mrlja, najbolje ih je što prije odstraniti jer će se u suprotnom upiti duboko u tkaninu i poslije ćete ih teško odstraniti. Najbolji način za odstranjivanje je kombinacija vode i deterdženta, sode ili sapuna, a u slučaju tvrdokornih mrlja, špricanje sodom bikarbonom i octom trebalo bi riješiti problem.

"Stonewashed" lan je najljepši kad je prirodno izgužvan, što znači da ga nije potrebno peglati.

- Ako ipak više volite da je sve uredno, možete ga ispeglati na blagoj temperaturi. Sušenje u sušilici je u redu, ali pripazite da ga izvadite dok je još blago vlažan, kao i većinu odjeće za koju ne želite da se izgužva do neprepoznatljivosti.

Laneni stolnjak je svestran i luksuzan dodatak uređenju doma, bilo da ga izabirete za sebe ili kao poklon koji će trajati doslovno zauvijek.
