Takve objave s vremena na vrijeme zaintrigiraju i medije koji pokušavaju doznati što više detalja iz života poznatih osoba. Tako Architectural Diges piše da bračni par s četvero djece živi u prekrasnoj zgradi u popularnoj četvrti u New Yorku, poznatoj po starim industrijskim zgradama prenamijenjenima u stambene prostore. StreetEasy, pak, piše kako nije poznato po kojoj su cijeni kupili stan, ali su stanovi u toj zgradi znali biti prodavani za iznose od 6 do 49 milijuna, ovisno o rasporedu i površini. U svakom slučaju, riječ je o ultraprivatnoj stambenoj zgradi s portirom, unutarnjim bazenom, privatnom parkirnom garažom, raskošnim fintess studijom, uređenom krovnom terasom... Luksuzni komples ima 54 stana površine od 270 do 400 kvadrata te osam penthousea površine od 420 do 840 kvadrata. Na samoj zgradi su zadržane neke arhitektonske povijesne značajke, ali je osuvremenjena luksuznim sadržajima.

Nedavno je Blake obožavateljima omogućila pogled na rustikalnu spavaću sobu koju je sama uredila. Na fotografiji se vide zlatni svijećnjaci s obje strane retro kreveta sa zelenim baršunom te nježan art deco luster nalik cvijetu koji visi iznad. Soba je ispunjena šarmom zahvaljujući toplim hrastovim zidovima i stropovima od drvenih greda, dok je pod naglašen starinskim tepihom. Vidi se i raskošna kupaonica sa samostojećom mramornom kadom.

Jednom je prilikom u ružičastoj haljini pozirala ispred svojeg privatnog ulaza u dizalo skriveno iza antiknih brončanih vrata. Tada su se na fotografiji vidjeli i zidovi od opeke te slika žene s paunom u azijskom stilu koja se nadopunjuje sa starinskim tepihom.

Home & Gardens je pak privukla jedna novija fotografija, objavljena u siječnju, za koju je zapravo zaslužan njihov glumački kolega Hugh Jackman, a koja nudi pogled na njihovu dnevnu sobu u kojoj dominiraju uzorci.

Iako se miješanje raznih uzoraka može smatrati kontroverznim, ako se pravilno izvede, ova riskantna dizajnerska tehnika unosi maksimalistički štih u prostor, nevezano za njegovu veličinu. Blake i Ryan odabrali su tamni kauč s cvjetnim motivima, kitnjasti tepih i tapecirane naslonjače svjetlijih boja. Unatoč brojnim kontrastnim printevima, dizajeri smatraju kako su uspjeli zadržati besprijekornu shemu boja koja djeluje kohezivno, unatoč svojim eklektičnim podtonovima. To je, piše H&G, podsjetnik da korištenje teksture u interijerima ne mora biti dosadno.

"Trebali bismo kupiti taj antikni stolac ili tepih s hrabrim printom i oživjeti ga zajedno s drugim komadima u prostoru. Više je uvijek više. Slojevite teksture i uzorci stvaraju uzbuđenje u domu. Više tepiha, više umjetnosti, više predmeta", prokomentirao je Martin Waller, osnivač globalnog dizajnerskog brenda Andrew Martin.

Dizajner Matthew Williamson također preporučuje da treba slijediti primjer Blake i Ryana dajući prednost tepihu s uzorkom koji će dati ton ostatku prostorije. Primjerice, njegove se boje mogu prenijeti na zidove, na mekai namještaj, pa čak i na strop. Sve za dramatičan dojam.

"Možete i eksperimentirati s uzorcima, kombinirajući tepih s uzorkom leoparda, upečatljivu tapetu ili sofu s cvjetnim uzorkom", predlaže Waller, piše Dom i dizajn.

Nedavno je Blake obožavateljima omogućila pogled na rustikalnu spavaću sobu koju je sama uredila. Na fotografiji se vide zlatni svijećnjaci s obje strane retro kreveta sa zelenim baršunom te nježan art deco luster nalik cvijetu koji visi iznad.
