Kada policajci zaustave kombije za pregled na hrvatskim cestama naučili su u njima vidjeti svašta, pa tako i – koprive! Naime, u ovo doba godine vrtlari upotrebljavaju koprive čiji pripravci pospješuju rast biljaka.

Nije uvijek jednostavno pronaći te biljke jer one vole vlažna i zapuštena mjesta pa se vrtlari snalaze preko svojih veza kako doći do većih količina potrebnih u ekovrtlarenju, pa koprive nabavljaju i iz mjesta s drugog kraja države.

Najčešće se radi gnojivo od koprive koje je i najjednostavnije: kilogram ubrane koprive potopi se u 10 litara vode (najbolje kišnice, ako nemate onda odstajale vode iz vodovoda). Plastična posuda se prekrije, recimo s nekom pamučnom krpom. Potrebno je svako par dana promiješati koprivu u vodi.

Ako su prevrući dani kopriva fermentira već za 5-6 dana, a ukoliko je hladnije potrebno joj je petnaestak dana. Nakon završetka fermentacije tekućina bude tamno smeđa. Procijedi se tekućina, a ostatak stavi na kompostište. Kada želite zalijevati biljku s gnojivom potrebno ju je razrijediti 1:10 i paziti da ne prskate listove i stabljiku nego zemlju oko biljke koju želite pognojiti.

Za one koji po prvi puta planiraju raditi gnojivo s koprivom upozorenje: gnojivo koprive tijekom fermentacije odaje oštar neugodan miris i puno se pjeni pa pripazite da vam posuda nije u blizini kuće, a pogotovo ne blizu susjeda. Neki pokušaju na balkonima stambenih zgrada neslavno su završili prije vremena jer nije se mislilo na susjede kojima će možda miris koji se stvara fermentacijom kopriva smetati.

Napomenimo da se, ukoliko baš nikako ne možete doći do svježih kopriva,  možete koristiti i suhu za pravljenje gnojiva: umjesto 1 kg svježe koprive dovoljno je 200 grama suhe koprive.

O koprivi

Kopriva je višegodišnja biljka koja naraste i do 150 cm, a listovi narastu od 5 do 15 cm. Listovi i peteljke su pokriveni žarnicama koje izliju oštar sok na kožu prilikom branja, pa je preporuka u berbu uvijek krenuti s rukavicama. Kopriva cvjeta od proljeća do jeseni na terenima gdje ima dobre uvjete (na pojedinim zemljištima dolaskom prevrućih dana se osuši), a tijekom zime ostaje u zemlji.

Kada policajci zaustave kombije za pregled na hrvatskim cestama naučili su u njima vidjeti svašta, pa tako i – koprive! Naime, u ovo doba godine vrtlari upotrebljavaju koprive čiji pripravci pospješuju rast biljaka.

Nije uvijek jednostavno pronaći te biljke jer one vole vlažna i zapuštena mjesta pa se vrtlari snalaze preko svojih veza kako doći do većih količina potrebnih u ekovrtlarenju, pa koprive nabavljaju i iz mjesta s drugog kraja države.

Najčešće se radi gnojivo od koprive koje je i najjednostavnije: kilogram ubrane koprive potopi se u 10 litara vode (najbolje kišnice, ako nemate onda odstajale vode iz vodovoda). Plastična posuda se prekrije, recimo s nekom pamučnom krpom. Potrebno je svako par dana promiješati koprivu u vodi.

Ako su prevrući dani kopriva fermentira već za 5-6 dana, a ukoliko je hladnije potrebno joj je petnaestak dana. Nakon završetka fermentacije tekućina bude tamno smeđa. Procijedi se tekućina, a ostatak stavi na kompostište. Kada želite zalijevati biljku s gnojivom potrebno ju je razrijediti 1:10 i paziti da ne prskate listove i stabljiku nego zemlju oko biljke koju želite pognojiti.

Za one koji po prvi puta planiraju raditi gnojivo s koprivom upozorenje: gnojivo koprive tijekom fermentacije odaje oštar neugodan miris i puno se pjeni pa pripazite da vam posuda nije u blizini kuće, a pogotovo ne blizu susjeda. Neki pokušaju na balkonima stambenih zgrada neslavno su završili prije vremena jer nije se mislilo na susjede kojima će možda miris koji se stvara fermentacijom kopriva smetati.

Napomenimo da se, ukoliko baš nikako ne možete doći do svježih kopriva,  možete koristiti i suhu za pravljenje gnojiva: umjesto 1 kg svježe koprive dovoljno je 200 grama suhe koprive.

O koprivi

Kopriva je višegodišnja biljka koja naraste i do 150 cm, a listovi narastu od 5 do 15 cm. Listovi i peteljke su pokriveni žarnicama koje izliju oštar sok na kožu prilikom branja, pa je preporuka u berbu uvijek krenuti s rukavicama. Vrtlari se snalaze kako bi imali ekološki proizvod: ako koprive nema u blizini – e onda se ide i na drugi kraj države

Kada policajci zaustave kombije za pregled na hrvatskim cestama naučili su u njima vidjeti svašta, pa tako i – koprive! Naime, u ovo doba godine vrtlari upotrebljavaju koprive čiji pripravci pospješuju rast biljaka.

Nije uvijek jednostavno pronaći te biljke jer one vole vlažna i zapuštena mjesta pa se vrtlari snalaze preko svojih veza kako doći do većih količina potrebnih u ekovrtlarenju, pa koprive nabavljaju i iz mjesta s drugog kraja države.

Najčešće se radi gnojivo od koprive koje je i najjednostavnije: kilogram ubrane koprive potopi se u 10 litara vode (najbolje kišnice, ako nemate onda odstajale vode iz vodovoda). Plastična posuda se prekrije, recimo s nekom pamučnom krpom. Potrebno je svako par dana promiješati koprivu u vodi.
