Istraživanje provedeno na više od 14 tisuća ljudi u 14 zemalja sugeriralo je da je snaga stiska šake bolji pokazatelj budućeg zdravlja od krvnog pritiska, prenosi BBC.

Međunarodni tim liječnika objavio je da bi ispitivanje snage stiska moglo biti "jednostavan, jeftin" test koji bi mogli provoditi liječnici. Stručnjaci ipak tvrde da nije jasna povezanost između snage stiska šake i zdravlja srca, te da su potrebne dodatne studije.

Maksimalna snaga stiska s godinama se smanjuje, no ljudi kojima ta snaga opada bržim tempom nalaze se u većem riziku od zdravstvenih problema, sugerira studija.

Žene u dvadesetima imaju snagu stiska od oko 34 kg, što kod žena u sedamdesetima pada na 24 kg, dok su ekvivalentni iznosi za muškarce 54 kg odnosno 38 kg.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da smanjanje snage za pet kg uvećava rizik od preuranjene smrti za 16 posto. Izgledi za fatalni srčani udar povećavaju se za 17 posto, a izgledi za moždani udar rastu za devet posto.

Liječnici te rizike danas procjenjuju kroz upitnike koje im ispunjavaju pacijenti - od njih se traži da odgovore na pitanja o pušenju, tjelesnoj težini, krvnom pritisku, razinama kolesterola i obiteljskoj anamnezi.

Istraživači navode da mjerenje snage stiska šake točnije predviđa buduće zdravlje od krvnog pritiska te da bi to moglo biti novo oruđe u procjenjivanju rizika.

Istraživanje provedeno na više od 14 tisuća ljudi u 14 zemalja sugeriralo je da je snaga stiska šake bolji pokazatelj budućeg zdravlja od krvnog pritiska, prenosi BBC.

Međunarodni tim liječnika objavio je da bi ispitivanje snage stiska moglo biti "jednostavan, jeftin" test koji bi mogli provoditi liječnici. Stručnjaci ipak tvrde da nije jasna povezanost između snage stiska šake i zdravlja srca, te da su potrebne dodatne studije.

Maksimalna snaga stiska s godinama se smanjuje, no ljudi kojima ta snaga opada bržim tempom nalaze se u većem riziku od zdravstvenih problema, sugerira studija.

Žene u dvadesetima imaju snagu stiska od oko 34 kg, što kod žena u sedamdesetima pada na 24 kg, dok su ekvivalentni iznosi za muškarce 54 kg odnosno 38 kg.

Istraživanje je pokazalo da smanjanje snage za pet kg uvećava rizik od preuranjene smrti za 16 posto. Izgledi za fatalni srčani udar povećavaju se za 17 posto, a izgledi za moždani udar rastu za devet posto.

Liječnici te rizike danas procjenjuju kroz upitnike koje im ispunjavaju pacijenti - od njih se traži da odgovore na pitanja o pušenju, tjelesnoj težini, krvnom pritisku, razinama kolesterola i obiteljskoj anamnezi.

Istraživači navode da mjerenje snage stiska šake točnije predviđa buduće zdravlje od krvnog pritiska te da bi to moglo biti novo oruđe u procjenjivanju rizika.
