Mercedes-Benz objavio je u petak da će preuzeti trećinu udjela u proizvođaču baterijskih ćelija Automotive Cells Company (ACC), zajedničkom poduhvatu čiji su osnivači francuske tvrtke Stellantis i TotalEnergies.

Cilj partnerstva je razvoj ćelija i baterijskih modula kao i pomoć Europi da zadrži središnju poziciju u autoindustriji, čak i u električnoj eri, izjavio je u priopćenju izvršni direktor Mercedes-Benza i njegove krovne tvrtke Daimler Ola Kaellenius.

Iz Daimlera dodaju da će baterijske ćelije proizvoditi 95 posto od recikliranih materijala, u skladu s ciljem o dostizanju ugljično neutralnog lanca opskrbe do 2039. godine.

ACC će Mercedes-Benz opskrbljivati baterijskom tehnologijom od sredine desetljeća, navode.

Prema sporazumu Daimler će, kažu, u projekt iduće godine uložiti oko 500 milijuna eura, dodajući kako se očekuje da će njegova ukupna ulaganja ostati ispod milijardu eura (1,2 milijarde dolara).

ACC je također pribavio 1,3 milijarde eura francuskog i njemačkog kapitala, a kako bi dostigao ciljani kapacitet od 120 gigavatsati do kraja desetljeća, trebat će pribaviti sedam milijardi eura putem prodaje dionica, kredita i subvencija.

Daimler je u srpnju objavio da do 2030. želi postati 'potpuno električan' i da planira gradnju osam giga-tvornica, uključujući jednu u SAD-u i četiri u Europi, kapaciteta najmanje 200 gigavatsati, sa sadašnjim partnerima i jednim novim kojeg tada nisu imenovali.

Iako europski proizvođači automobila sastavljaju baterijske pakete za električne automobile, u proizvodnji baterijskih ćelija, ključnih sastavnih blokova za baterije, dominiraju azijske tvrtke.

"Zajedno s ACC-om razvit ćemo i učinkovito proizvoditi baterijske ćelije i module u Europi, izrađene prema specifičnim Mercedes-Benzovim zahtjevima", rekao je Kaellenius. "Ovo novo partnerstvo omogućuje nam da osiguramo opskrbu i iskoristimo ekonomiju razmjera".

ACC je osnovan u rujnu 2020. kao zajednički pothvat francuskih tvrtki Stellantisa i TotalEnergiesa a već je povezan s Njemačkom kroz dvije milijarde eura ulaganja u tvornicu baterijskih ćelija u Kaiserslauternu, koja bi trebala započeti s proizvodnjom 2025.godine.

U planu je proširenje mreže u Europi, kažu iz Daimlera.

Mercedes-Benz objavio je u petak da će preuzeti trećinu udjela u proizvođaču baterijskih ćelija Automotive Cells Company (ACC), zajedničkom poduhvatu čiji su osnivači francuske tvrtke Stellantis i TotalEnergies.

Cilj partnerstva je razvoj ćelija i baterijskih modula kao i pomoć Europi da zadrži središnju poziciju u autoindustriji, čak i u električnoj eri, izjavio je u priopćenju izvršni direktor Mercedes-Benza i njegove krovne tvrtke Daimler Ola Kaellenius.

Iz Daimlera dodaju da će baterijske ćelije proizvoditi 95 posto od recikliranih materijala, u skladu s ciljem o dostizanju ugljično neutralnog lanca opskrbe do 2039. godine.

ACC će Mercedes-Benz opskrbljivati baterijskom tehnologijom od sredine desetljeća, navode.

Prema sporazumu Daimler će, kažu, u projekt iduće godine uložiti oko 500 milijuna eura, dodajući kako se očekuje da će njegova ukupna ulaganja ostati ispod milijardu eura (1,2 milijarde dolara).

ACC je također pribavio 1,3 milijarde eura francuskog i njemačkog kapitala, a kako bi dostigao ciljani kapacitet od 120 gigavatsati do kraja desetljeća, trebat će pribaviti sedam milijardi eura putem prodaje dionica, kredita i subvencija.

Daimler je u srpnju objavio da do 2030. želi postati 'potpuno električan' i da planira gradnju osam giga-tvornica, uključujući jednu u SAD-u i četiri u Europi, kapaciteta najmanje 200 gigavatsati, sa sadašnjim partnerima i jednim novim kojeg tada nisu imenovali.

Iako europski proizvođači automobila sastavljaju baterijske pakete za električne automobile, u proizvodnji baterijskih ćelija, ključnih sastavnih blokova za baterije, dominiraju azijske tvrtke.

"Zajedno s ACC-om razvit ćemo i učinkovito proizvoditi baterijske ćelije i module u Europi, izrađene prema specifičnim Mercedes-Benzovim zahtjevima", rekao je Kaellenius. "Ovo novo partnerstvo omogućuje nam da osiguramo opskrbu i iskoristimo ekonomiju razmjera".

ACC je osnovan u rujnu 2020. kao zajednički pothvat francuskih tvrtki Stellantisa i TotalEnergiesa a već je povezan s Njemačkom kroz dvije milijarde eura ulaganja u tvornicu baterijskih ćelija u Kaiserslauternu, koja bi trebala započeti s proizvodnjom 2025.godine.

U planu je proširenje mreže u Europi, kažu iz Daimlera.

Mercedes-Benz preuzima trećinu udjela u proizvođaču baterijskih ćelija ACC

Mercedes-Benz objavio je u petak da će preuzeti trećinu udjela u proizvođaču baterijskih ćelija Automotive Cells Company (ACC), zajedničkom poduhvatu čiji su osnivači francuske tvrtke Stellantis i TotalEnergies.

Cilj partnerstva je razvoj ćelija i baterijskih modula kao i pomoć Europi da zadrži središnju poziciju u autoindustriji, čak i u električnoj eri, izjavio je u priopćenju izvršni direktor Mercedes-Benza i njegove krovne tvrtke Daimler Ola Kaellenius.

Iz Daimlera dodaju da će baterijske ćelije proizvoditi 95 posto od recikliranih materijala, u skladu s ciljem o dostizanju ugljično neutralnog lanca opskrbe do 2039. godine.

ACC će Mercedes-Benz opskrbljivati baterijskom tehnologijom od sredine desetljeća, navode.
