Proslavljeni ukrajinski redatelj u utorak je na Filmskom festivalu u Cannesu rekao da je nehumano okrenuti se protiv svih Rusa unatoč razornoj invaziji na njegovu zemlju.
Sergej Loznica sudjelovao je na festivalu na južnoj francuskoj obali kako bi predstavio novi dokumentarni film o bombardiranju Njemačke tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata.
'Prirodna povijest uništenja' koristi arhivske snimke kako bi se prikazala užasna cijena koju su tijekom sukoba platili civili. 
"Razlog zbog kojeg film tako snažno podsjeća na trenutnu situaciju je taj što se ispostavilo da još uvijek nismo riješili ovaj problem i da je uništavanje civilnih ciljeva još uvijek legitimna metoda vođenja rata“, rekao je Loznica (57) za AFP.
Iako su mnogi Ukrajinci znali da bi rat mogao izbiti u bilo kojem trenutku, rekao je kako nije bilo zamislivo da će biti “tako nasilan, tako razoran“.
"Barbarizam.. vratio nas je sto godina unatrag i shvatili smo da smo potpuno nemoćni“, kazao je.
"Preostaje samo nada u promjenu ljudskog mentaliteta“, dodao je.
'Dobri Rusi'
Usprkos užasu trenutnog rata, Loznica se posvađao s mnogim sunarodnjacima zbog svog stava prema bojkotu Rusa.
U ožujku je izbačen iz Ukrajinske filmske akademije nakon što je odbio sve ruske umjetnike staviti 'u isti koš', rekavši da bi bilo bolje “ujediniti slobodoljubive i slobodoumne ljude svijeta protiv ruske agresije“.
Voditelj Kijevskoga međunarodnog filmskog festivala Andrij Kalpakči prošlog je tjedna na panelu u Cannesu izjavio da u ovom trenutku ne postoji nešto kao što su “dobri Rusi“. 
Loznica je za AFP rekao da je dijeljenje ljudi na dobre i loše - groteskno.
"Možda su njegova (Kalpakčijeva) reakcija i mišljenje uzrokovani ovom vrlo snažnom emocionalnom patnjom koju proživljava i možda je to razumljivo“, kazao je. "Ali istovremeno ne mogu to prihvatiti. Takav je stav nehuman.“
U Cannesu je bilo prijepora oko odluke organizatora da u glavno natjecanje za Zlatnu palmu uključe ruskog redatelja Kirila Serebrenikova.
Iako je Serebrenikov osudio rat i otišao u egzil, mnogi iz ukrajinskog filmskog svijeta tvrde da se njegova prošlost povezuje s ruskom vlašću i to što ga je financirao oligarh Roman Abramovič podrazumijeva da ove godine treba biti isključen.
"Čvrsti smo u stajalištu da se sve rusko mora otkazati“, rekao je na panel diskusiji u Cannesu prošlog tjedna Andrew Fesiak, osnivač ukrajinske produkcijske kuće F Films.
Loznica je bio nepokolebljiv u svom protivljenju općim zabranama.
"Kako definirate koncept Rusa? Jeste li Rus zbog svoje putovnice, državljanstva? Zbog svoje nacionalnosti? Ovo je sklizak teren.“
"Čvrsto vjerujem da se ljudima treba suditi na temelju njihovih pojedinačnih riječi, njihovih pojedinačnih postupaka, a ne njihovih putovnica. Svaki pojedinačni slučaj treba suditi prema vlastitim zaslugama.“

Proslavljeni ukrajinski redatelj u utorak je na Filmskom festivalu u Cannesu rekao da je nehumano okrenuti se protiv svih Rusa unatoč razornoj invaziji na njegovu zemlju.
Sergej Loznica sudjelovao je na festivalu na južnoj francuskoj obali kako bi predstavio novi dokumentarni film o bombardiranju Njemačke tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata.
'Prirodna povijest uništenja' koristi arhivske snimke kako bi se prikazala užasna cijena koju su tijekom sukoba platili civili. 
"Razlog zbog kojeg film tako snažno podsjeća na trenutnu situaciju je taj što se ispostavilo da još uvijek nismo riješili ovaj problem i da je uništavanje civilnih ciljeva još uvijek legitimna metoda vođenja rata“, rekao je Loznica (57) za AFP.
Iako su mnogi Ukrajinci znali da bi rat mogao izbiti u bilo kojem trenutku, rekao je kako nije bilo zamislivo da će biti “tako nasilan, tako razoran“.
"Barbarizam.. vratio nas je sto godina unatrag i shvatili smo da smo potpuno nemoćni“, kazao je.
"Preostaje samo nada u promjenu ljudskog mentaliteta“, dodao je.
'Dobri Rusi'
Usprkos užasu trenutnog rata, Loznica se posvađao s mnogim sunarodnjacima zbog svog stava prema bojkotu Rusa.
U ožujku je izbačen iz Ukrajinske filmske akademije nakon što je odbio sve ruske umjetnike staviti 'u isti koš', rekavši da bi bilo bolje “ujediniti slobodoljubive i slobodoumne ljude svijeta protiv ruske agresije“.
Voditelj Kijevskoga međunarodnog filmskog festivala Andrij Kalpakči prošlog je tjedna na panelu u Cannesu izjavio da u ovom trenutku ne postoji nešto kao što su “dobri Rusi“. 
Loznica je za AFP rekao da je dijeljenje ljudi na dobre i loše - groteskno.
"Možda su njegova (Kalpakčijeva) reakcija i mišljenje uzrokovani ovom vrlo snažnom emocionalnom patnjom koju proživljava i možda je to razumljivo“, kazao je. "Ali istovremeno ne mogu to prihvatiti. Takav je stav nehuman.“
U Cannesu je bilo prijepora oko odluke organizatora da u glavno natjecanje za Zlatnu palmu uključe ruskog redatelja Kirila Serebrenikova.
Iako je Serebrenikov osudio rat i otišao u egzil, mnogi iz ukrajinskog filmskog svijeta tvrde da se njegova prošlost povezuje s ruskom vlašću i to što ga je financirao oligarh Roman Abramovič podrazumijeva da ove godine treba biti isključen.
"Čvrsti smo u stajalištu da se sve rusko mora otkazati“, rekao je na panel diskusiji u Cannesu prošlog tjedna Andrew Fesiak, osnivač ukrajinske produkcijske kuće F Films.
Loznica je bio nepokolebljiv u svom protivljenju općim zabranama.
"Kako definirate koncept Rusa? Jeste li Rus zbog svoje putovnice, državljanstva? Zbog svoje nacionalnosti? Ovo je sklizak teren.“
"Čvrsto vjerujem da se ljudima treba suditi na temelju njihovih pojedinačnih riječi, njihovih pojedinačnih postupaka, a ne njihovih putovnica. Svaki pojedinačni slučaj treba suditi prema vlastitim zaslugama.“

Proslavljeni ukrajinski redatelj u utorak je na Filmskom festivalu u Cannesu rekao da je nehumano okrenuti se protiv svih Rusa unatoč razornoj invaziji na njegovu zemlju.
Sergej Loznica sudjelovao je na festivalu na južnoj francuskoj obali kako bi predstavio novi dokumentarni film o bombardiranju Njemačke tijekom Drugoga svjetskog rata.
'Prirodna povijest uništenja' koristi arhivske snimke kako bi se prikazala užasna cijena koju su tijekom sukoba platili civili. 
"Razlog zbog kojeg film tako snažno podsjeća na trenutnu situaciju je taj što se ispostavilo da još uvijek nismo riješili ovaj problem i da je uništavanje civilnih ciljeva još uvijek legitimna metoda vođenja rata“, rekao je Loznica (57) za AFP.
