”Sarajevo blues” Semezdina Mehmedinovića imao sam zadovoljstvo čitati u realnome vremenu.

Više se ne sjećam kako mi je knjiga te pradavne 1993. godine došla u ruke, kroz tunel ili uz ljubazno posredovanje UNPROFOR-ova Maybe Airlinesa, kako se kolokvijalno zvala “pruga” koju su održavali transportni vojni avioni.

Nažalost, još uvijek pamtim kako je u ta analogna vremena netko u tiskari “Slobodne Dalmacije” prilikom montaže stranice ispremiješao špalte (stupce teksta), pa je oduševljeni prikaz libra koji sam napisao više sličio halucinogenom “Dorinom dnevniku” Ćiće Senjanovića negoli ozbiljnoj recenziji.

 

Sve što se otada napisalo o ratu u Bosni i Hercegovini nije uspjelo nadmašiti ovu moćnu zbirku proznih i poetskih zapisa, koja, uz “Sarajevski Marlboro” Miljenka Jergovića, još jednu knjigu koja je nastajala u vremenu opsade, izgladnjivanja i umiranja, stoji kao vrhunac književnosti o velikoj koljačini kojoj bi neki danas rado svirali produžetke.

Po završetku rata, Semezdin, za prijatelje Sem, nije učinio ono što su izabrali mnogi: da iz svoga statusa žrtve počne ubirati kamate tako što će se izboriti za neku solidnu sinekuru po mjeri podobnih. Sem se radije obratio Uncle Samu i s obitelji se preselio u Sjedinjene Američke Države.

Nestajući kao Bosanac, činilo se da nestaje i kao pisac. Istini za volju, “Sarajevo blues” preveden je na engleski i dobio je u Americi cijeli niz vrlo pohvalnih recenzija. Mehmedinović je 2002. objavio zbirku poezije “Devet Aleksandrija”, a šest godina kasnije u paru s Jergovićem knjigu pisama koja su razmjenjivali pod naslovom “Transatlantic”.

No sve to činilo se, barem meni, preskromnim nastavkom spisateljske karijere koja je tako puno obećavala. Naravno, Semezdin je tih godina imao i puno prečih briga od fiksiranja svoga mjesta na zemljovidu literature: trebalo je (pre)živjeti.

A onda je 2011. godine objavljen “Ruski kompjuter”. Zapise davno pospremljene na velikoj savitljivoj disketi pa onda zaboravljene, iz digitalnog mraka uspio je izvući jedan Mehmedinovićev američki znanac, informatičar. Sa zakašnjenjem od petnaestak godina književna je publika dobila priliku čitati autorov dnevnik selidbe na potezu Sarajevo – Prag – Zagreb –​ Phoenix – New York – Phoenix – Washington D.C., vođen od kraja kolovoza 1995. do kolovoza 1996. godine. Premda poratna, natipkana na tastaturi čovjeka koji je nominalno pripadao pobjedničkoj strani, ova je knjiga ponudila samu esenciju gubitništva i bila na puno načina tužnija od “Sarajevo bluesa” na koji se skladno, skoro pa bešavno nastavljala.

Nakon ovoga libra, a potaknut, možda, i njegovim sjajnim odjekom kod publike, Mehmedinović se vratio intenzivnijem pisanju, objavivši do danas još četiri odlična naslova (“Autoportret s torbom”, “Knjiga prozora”, Me’med, crvena bandana i pahuljica”, “Ovo vrijeme sada”), među kojima su neki zabilježili i inozemni uspjeh.

”Blues” i “Kompjuter”, te dvije rođačke knjige, konačno su okupljene u istom uvezu i pod zajedničkim naslovom “Rat je i ništa se ne događa” u “Frakturinoj” sestrinskoj ediciji “Bodoni” u kojoj, dojmljivo opremljeni, izlaze mahom suvremeni klasici.

Libri o traumatičnim iskustvima raskida s vlastitim životom kojeg je prvo presjekao rat, a potom i poraće, odnosno emigracija, te potrebi da se ti diskontinuiteti premoste ako se već ne mogu pokrpati, stižu nam, dakle, u vremenu kad mnogi, ne bez razloga, slute kako bi Bosnu mogao zadesiti neki novi diskontinuitet, čitaj oružani sukob ili nešto njemu slično.

Semezdin Mehemdinović, kralj lošeg tajminga, koji je Bosnu napustio tek nakon što je rat okončan, vratio se iz SAD-a prije tri godine, taman na vrijeme da se iz prve ruke može osvjedočiti kako je kotao s bosanskim loncem potkuren do točke ključanja.

Ako on baš i nije pogodio s povratkom, povratak njegovih knjiga na regionalno tržište nije se mogao dogoditi u boljemu trenutku da podsjeti kako šovinistička orgijanja obično završe. Sve što se o tome ima reći, Sem je davno zbio u jedan jedini redak bilješke pod naslovom “Djeca”: “S.: Hajde, Harune, ulazi u kuću, napolju padaju granate.”

Usput, dotični Harun danas je ugledni američki snimatelj, što će, toplo se nadam, i ostati. Bosnu je napustio prerano da bi uspio prema njoj izgraditi (i sačuvati) nježne sentimente.

Barem se nadam da je tako. Ako griješim, ako se u njemu jednom ipak uspije razgoriti nostalgija za izgubljenim zavičajem, toplo mu savjetujem da posegne za ćaćinim librima umjesto da se vraća u ove predjele endemske nesreće. •

”Sarajevo blues” Semezdina Mehmedinovića imao sam zadovoljstvo čitati u realnome vremenu.

Više se ne sjećam kako mi je knjiga te pradavne 1993. godine došla u ruke, kroz tunel ili uz ljubazno posredovanje UNPROFOR-ova Maybe Airlinesa, kako se kolokvijalno zvala “pruga” koju su održavali transportni vojni avioni.

Nažalost, još uvijek pamtim kako je u ta analogna vremena netko u tiskari “Slobodne Dalmacije” prilikom montaže stranice ispremiješao špalte (stupce teksta), pa je oduševljeni prikaz libra koji sam napisao više sličio halucinogenom “Dorinom dnevniku” Ćiće Senjanovića negoli ozbiljnoj recenziji.

 

Sve što se otada napisalo o ratu u Bosni i Hercegovini nije uspjelo nadmašiti ovu moćnu zbirku proznih i poetskih zapisa, koja, uz “Sarajevski Marlboro” Miljenka Jergovića, još jednu knjigu koja je nastajala u vremenu opsade, izgladnjivanja i umiranja, stoji kao vrhunac književnosti o velikoj koljačini kojoj bi neki danas rado svirali produžetke.

Po završetku rata, Semezdin, za prijatelje Sem, nije učinio ono što su izabrali mnogi: da iz svoga statusa žrtve počne ubirati kamate tako što će se izboriti za neku solidnu sinekuru po mjeri podobnih. Sem se radije obratio Uncle Samu i s obitelji se preselio u Sjedinjene Američke Države.

Nestajući kao Bosanac, činilo se da nestaje i kao pisac. Istini za volju, “Sarajevo blues” preveden je na engleski i dobio je u Americi cijeli niz vrlo pohvalnih recenzija. Mehmedinović je 2002. objavio zbirku poezije “Devet Aleksandrija”, a šest godina kasnije u paru s Jergovićem knjigu pisama koja su razmjenjivali pod naslovom “Transatlantic”.

No sve to činilo se, barem meni, preskromnim nastavkom spisateljske karijere koja je tako puno obećavala. Naravno, Semezdin je tih godina imao i puno prečih briga od fiksiranja svoga mjesta na zemljovidu literature: trebalo je (pre)živjeti.

A onda je 2011. godine objavljen “Ruski kompjuter”. Zapise davno pospremljene na velikoj savitljivoj disketi pa onda zaboravljene, iz digitalnog mraka uspio je izvući jedan Mehmedinovićev američki znanac, informatičar. Sa zakašnjenjem od petnaestak godina književna je publika dobila priliku čitati autorov dnevnik selidbe na potezu Sarajevo – Prag – Zagreb –​ Phoenix – New York – Phoenix – Washington D.C., vođen od kraja kolovoza 1995. do kolovoza 1996. godine. Premda poratna, natipkana na tastaturi čovjeka koji je nominalno pripadao pobjedničkoj strani, ova je knjiga ponudila samu esenciju gubitništva i bila na puno načina tužnija od “Sarajevo bluesa” na koji se skladno, skoro pa bešavno nastavljala.

Nakon ovoga libra, a potaknut, možda, i njegovim sjajnim odjekom kod publike, Mehmedinović se vratio intenzivnijem pisanju, objavivši do danas još četiri odlična naslova (“Autoportret s torbom”, “Knjiga prozora”, Me’med, crvena bandana i pahuljica”, “Ovo vrijeme sada”), među kojima su neki zabilježili i inozemni uspjeh.

”Blues” i “Kompjuter”, te dvije rođačke knjige, konačno su okupljene u istom uvezu i pod zajedničkim naslovom “Rat je i ništa se ne događa” u “Frakturinoj” sestrinskoj ediciji “Bodoni” u kojoj, dojmljivo opremljeni, izlaze mahom suvremeni klasici.

Libri o traumatičnim iskustvima raskida s vlastitim životom kojeg je prvo presjekao rat, a potom i poraće, odnosno emigracija, te potrebi da se ti diskontinuiteti premoste ako se već ne mogu pokrpati, stižu nam, dakle, u vremenu kad mnogi, ne bez razloga, slute kako bi Bosnu mogao zadesiti neki novi diskontinuitet, čitaj oružani sukob ili nešto njemu slično.

Semezdin Mehemdinović, kralj lošeg tajminga, koji je Bosnu napustio tek nakon što je rat okončan, vratio se iz SAD-a prije tri godine, taman na vrijeme da se iz prve ruke može osvjedočiti kako je kotao s bosanskim loncem potkuren do točke ključanja.

Ako on baš i nije pogodio s povratkom, povratak njegovih knjiga na regionalno tržište nije se mogao dogoditi u boljemu trenutku da podsjeti kako šovinistička orgijanja obično završe. Sve što se o tome ima reći, Sem je davno zbio u jedan jedini redak bilješke pod naslovom “Djeca”: “S.: Hajde, Harune, ulazi u kuću, napolju padaju granate.”

Usput, dotični Harun danas je ugledni američki snimatelj, što će, toplo se nadam, i ostati. Bosnu je napustio prerano da bi uspio prema njoj izgraditi (i sačuvati) nježne sentimente.

Barem se nadam da je tako. Ako griješim, ako se u njemu jednom ipak uspije razgoriti nostalgija za izgubljenim zavičajem, toplo mu savjetujem da posegne za ćaćinim librima umjesto da se vraća u ove predjele endemske nesreće. •
