"Nedostaje samo Oscar", kaže netko gledajući nagrade na zidu u kući vlasnika tvornice vaga Blanca u jednoj sceni španjolskog filma "Veliki gazda" ("El buen patrón"/"The Good Boss") redatelja i scenarista Fernanda Leóna de Aranoe s oskarovcem Javierom Bardemom u glavnoj ulozi.

Interesantan trenutak. Jer, "Veliki gazda" je izabran da bude španjolski kandidat za ovogodišnjeg Oscara ispred Almodovarovih "Paralelnih majki" s Bardemovom životnom družicom Penelope Cruz, ali na kraju nije upao u užu selekciju, odnosno među pet nominiranih u kategoriji najboljeg međunarodnog filma.

Povijest se ponovila otprije 20 godina. Naime, "Ponedjeljci na suncu" istog filmaša, također s Bardemom, postali su španjolski kandidat za Oscara u konkurenciji sa "Pričaj s njom", da bi na kraju ispali iz utrke, dok je Almodovarova drama bila nomininirana za režiju i scenarij (u potonjoj kategoriji se i pozlatila). Dvadeset godina kasnije, "El buen patrón" nije primirisao ni užoj selekciji, a "Madres paralelas" su, zahvaljujući Cruz, dobile nominaciju za glavnu žensku ulogu.

Izbor se, dakle, pokazao pogrešnim jer "Paralelne majke" su nesumnjivo djelo većeg međunarodnog, oskarovskog potencijala kao novi uradak redatelja koji redovito bude nominiran za Oscara ("Tuga i slava") ili ga osvoji ("Sve o mojoj majci"), ujedno i film koji je imao zakazanu američku kinodistribuciju i bio lansiran na Venecijanskom festivalu, gdje je Cruz osvojila nagradu za najbolju glumicu.

No, "Veliki gazda" je jači na domaćem terenu, što je i potvrdio pomevši dodjelu nagrada Goya, španjolskog ekvivalenta Oscaru, sa šest pobjeda od rekordnih 20 nominacija, uključujući glavnu mušku ulogu kao glavni "selling point" filma. Možda su se Španjolci nadali da će Bardemovo zvučno, Oscarom pozlaćeno ime biti jamac za oskarovsku selekciju/nominaciju i glumac je na kraju doista nominiran, ali za ulogu u "Being The Ricardos", premda je čak i bolji u ironično naslovljenom "El buen patrón".

Bardemov Blanco se odlično uklapa u nisku glumčevih osebujnih likova ("Šunka, šunka", "Biutiful", "Majka!"), osobito negativaca poput Antona Chigurha, Raoula Silve i samog Escobara ("Nema zemlje za starce", "Skyfall", "Voleći Pabla"). Zasigurno i zato što je ovo crna komedija karaktera i korporativna satira, a ne mračni triler ili krimi drama, Blanco je njegov najljudskiji i najšarmantniji negativac.

Kao "prijateljsko lice kapitalističke korupcije" Blanco iza smješka skriva unutrašnjeg Escobara iz njegove prethodne suradnje s redateljem Aranoaom. Međutim, u razočaravajućem "Loving Pablo" Escobar je bio karikatura s umjetnim stomakom i podbratkom.

U veoma solidnom, svakako superiornijem "The Good Boss" Blanco je sve samo ne karikaturalan dok radi što god može da opstane u kapitalističkom svijetu i osvoji lokalnu nagradu za poslovnu izvrsnost firme koja se diči time da je "jedna velika obitelj".

On zaposlenike naziva svojom djecom i hini da je njihov otac postavljajući se kao nekakva očinska figura, ali nije mu problem dati otkaz toj djeci, tj. donijeti teške odluke za "dobrobit" obitelji koja je disfunkcionalna, bolje reći posla. Predstavljajući se kao dobar šef i moralan čovjek, iako je prilično loš i nemoralan, Blanco propovijeda o "trudu, ravnoteži i odanosti", riječima ispisanim na zidu njegova skladišta.

Zatječemo ga na početku jednog kaotičnog tjedna, kad se će, među ostalim, morati baktati s bivšim radnikom (Óscar de la Fuente) i njegovim protestom ispred tvornice, bračnim krahom bliskog zaposlenika i prijatelja iz djetinjstva (Manolo Sola) te novom zgodnom mladom pripravnicom (Almudena Amor; otkriće) s kojom će spavati ne znajući da je kćerka starog obiteljskog prijatelja.

Sve to dovodi do disbalansa njegova precizno izvagana svijeta, ali i humorističnih situacija za tihi, pa i glasni smijeh gledatelja. Disbalans (i crnohumoran ton "Velikog gazde") je najavljen vagom izvan ravnoteže na ulazu u tvornicu zbog slijetanja ptice i ptičje kakice.

"Pravimo precizne vage, ne možemo dopustiti da je jedna pokvarena, i to vanjska", govori Blanco. Vaga je zrcalo Blancove tvornice i filma koji nije uvijek uravnotežen između komičnog i ozbiljnog, zapleta i podzapleta, ali Bardem mu daje potreban balans. Blanco je još jedna sjajna kreacija španjolskoga glumca.

U ‘Kinoteci‘, na Moviemixu i u ‘online‘ videoteci

Redatelj "Velikog gazde" poznat je i po filmu "Savršen dan" s Beniciom Del Torom, Timom Robbinsom i nekolicinom hrvatskih glumaca. Nakon što je "El buen patrón" imao hrvatsku premijeru jesenas na ZFF-u, ovih dana se ekskluzivno prikazuje u splitskoj "Kinoteci", a tko ne živi u Splitu i okolici ima film na novom streaming servisu "Moviemix" i u hrvatskim "online" videotekama.

"Nedostaje samo Oscar", kaže netko gledajući nagrade na zidu u kući vlasnika tvornice vaga Blanca u jednoj sceni španjolskog filma "Veliki gazda" ("El buen patrón"/"The Good Boss") redatelja i scenarista Fernanda Leóna de Aranoe s oskarovcem Javierom Bardemom u glavnoj ulozi.

Interesantan trenutak. Jer, "Veliki gazda" je izabran da bude španjolski kandidat za ovogodišnjeg Oscara ispred Almodovarovih "Paralelnih majki" s Bardemovom životnom družicom Penelope Cruz, ali na kraju nije upao u užu selekciju, odnosno među pet nominiranih u kategoriji najboljeg međunarodnog filma.

Povijest se ponovila otprije 20 godina. Naime, "Ponedjeljci na suncu" istog filmaša, također s Bardemom, postali su španjolski kandidat za Oscara u konkurenciji sa "Pričaj s njom", da bi na kraju ispali iz utrke, dok je Almodovarova drama bila nomininirana za režiju i scenarij (u potonjoj kategoriji se i pozlatila). Dvadeset godina kasnije, "El buen patrón" nije primirisao ni užoj selekciji, a "Madres paralelas" su, zahvaljujući Cruz, dobile nominaciju za glavnu žensku ulogu.

Izbor se, dakle, pokazao pogrešnim jer "Paralelne majke" su nesumnjivo djelo većeg međunarodnog, oskarovskog potencijala kao novi uradak redatelja koji redovito bude nominiran za Oscara ("Tuga i slava") ili ga osvoji ("Sve o mojoj majci"), ujedno i film koji je imao zakazanu američku kinodistribuciju i bio lansiran na Venecijanskom festivalu, gdje je Cruz osvojila nagradu za najbolju glumicu.

No, "Veliki gazda" je jači na domaćem terenu, što je i potvrdio pomevši dodjelu nagrada Goya, španjolskog ekvivalenta Oscaru, sa šest pobjeda od rekordnih 20 nominacija, uključujući glavnu mušku ulogu kao glavni "selling point" filma. Možda su se Španjolci nadali da će Bardemovo zvučno, Oscarom pozlaćeno ime biti jamac za oskarovsku selekciju/nominaciju i glumac je na kraju doista nominiran, ali za ulogu u "Being The Ricardos", premda je čak i bolji u ironično naslovljenom "El buen patrón".

Bardemov Blanco se odlično uklapa u nisku glumčevih osebujnih likova ("Šunka, šunka", "Biutiful", "Majka!"), osobito negativaca poput Antona Chigurha, Raoula Silve i samog Escobara ("Nema zemlje za starce", "Skyfall", "Voleći Pabla"). Zasigurno i zato što je ovo crna komedija karaktera i korporativna satira, a ne mračni triler ili krimi drama, Blanco je njegov najljudskiji i najšarmantniji negativac.

Kao "prijateljsko lice kapitalističke korupcije" Blanco iza smješka skriva unutrašnjeg Escobara iz njegove prethodne suradnje s redateljem Aranoaom. Međutim, u razočaravajućem "Loving Pablo" Escobar je bio karikatura s umjetnim stomakom i podbratkom.

U veoma solidnom, svakako superiornijem "The Good Boss" Blanco je sve samo ne karikaturalan dok radi što god može da opstane u kapitalističkom svijetu i osvoji lokalnu nagradu za poslovnu izvrsnost firme koja se diči time da je "jedna velika obitelj".

On zaposlenike naziva svojom djecom i hini da je njihov otac postavljajući se kao nekakva očinska figura, ali nije mu problem dati otkaz toj djeci, tj. donijeti teške odluke za "dobrobit" obitelji koja je disfunkcionalna, bolje reći posla. Predstavljajući se kao dobar šef i moralan čovjek, iako je prilično loš i nemoralan, Blanco propovijeda o "trudu, ravnoteži i odanosti", riječima ispisanim na zidu njegova skladišta.

Zatječemo ga na početku jednog kaotičnog tjedna, kad se će, među ostalim, morati baktati s bivšim radnikom (Óscar de la Fuente) i njegovim protestom ispred tvornice, bračnim krahom bliskog zaposlenika i prijatelja iz djetinjstva (Manolo Sola) te novom zgodnom mladom pripravnicom (Almudena Amor; otkriće) s kojom će spavati ne znajući da je kćerka starog obiteljskog prijatelja.

Sve to dovodi do disbalansa njegova precizno izvagana svijeta, ali i humorističnih situacija za tihi, pa i glasni smijeh gledatelja. Disbalans (i crnohumoran ton "Velikog gazde") je najavljen vagom izvan ravnoteže na ulazu u tvornicu zbog slijetanja ptice i ptičje kakice.

"Pravimo precizne vage, ne možemo dopustiti da je jedna pokvarena, i to vanjska", govori Blanco. Vaga je zrcalo Blancove tvornice i filma koji nije uvijek uravnotežen između komičnog i ozbiljnog, zapleta i podzapleta, ali Bardem mu daje potreban balans. Blanco je još jedna sjajna kreacija španjolskoga glumca.

U ‘Kinoteci‘, na Moviemixu i u ‘online‘ videoteci

Redatelj "Velikog gazde" poznat je i po filmu "Savršen dan" s Beniciom Del Torom, Timom Robbinsom i nekolicinom hrvatskih glumaca. Nakon što je "El buen patrón" imao hrvatsku premijeru jesenas na ZFF-u, ovih dana se ekskluzivno prikazuje u splitskoj "Kinoteci", a tko ne živi u Splitu i okolici ima film na novom streaming servisu "Moviemix" i u hrvatskim "online" videotekama.
