"Kao da sam glumac u teatru apsurda." – "Sonic: Super Jež 2" (2022.)

Sonic: Super Jež, popularni lik iz SEGA-ine videoigre, može se pohvaliti da je njegov film bio posljednji predkoronski kinohit. Pušten polovicom veljače 2020., "Sonic The Hedgehog" je uspio zaraditi nešto manje od 150 milijuna dolara u Americi i preko 300 u svijetu prije nego što se korona razmahala i mic po mic počela zatvarati kina. Dvije godine kasnije, "Sonic: Super Jež 2" stigao je u kinodistribuciju u znatno povoljnijoj klimi i to se odražava na njegov uspjeh.

Kako je krenuo u premijernom vikendu, nastavak će biti veći hit od originala i studio Paramount Pictures nesumnjivo je dobio novu blockbustersku franšizu. "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" je tipični iskalkulirani nastavak koji širi svemir prethodnika, uvodi nove likove (Knuckles, Tails), ima više akcije i vizualnih efekata, traje duže...

"Marvelizacija" je primjetna u pristupu "Sonicu" i nastavak još više koketira s poetikom superherojskih blockbustera u odnosu na prethodnika, toliko da smaragdi koji imaju moć stvoriti i uništiti civilizacije podsjećaju na kamenja beskonačnosti iz nastavaka "Osvetnika" s daškom mitologije "Gospodara prstenova".

Za smaragdima traga negativac, doktor Robotnik (Jim Carrey), nakon što se vratio na Zemlju s Planeta gljiva, i to zajedno s "posljednjim i najopasnijim ratnikom u galaksiji" Knucklesom. Prije nego ih s Tailsom pokušava preduhitriti u tome, Sonic se pretvara da je "batmanovski" superjunak, Plavi pravednik, te koristi moći da spriječi pljačku, a njegov zemaljski otac Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) "spidermanovski" ga uči o preuzimanju odgovornosti za sebe i druge.

"Sonic: Super Jež 2" je pun referencija na druge filmove ("Riskantan posao", "Indiana Jones"...) i popkulturu ("brza i žestoka" zavada Vina Diesela i Dwaynea "The Rock" Johnsona), da počesto gubi vlastiti identitet i postaje derivativan, dok titularni lik pretendira biti svojevrsni Deadpool za klince željne blockbusterskog šarenila i eksplozija.

Referencije su tu za odrasle u publici, mame, tate, ujake..., ali to je sve što oni imaju od filma, lišenog neke sekvencije koja se ističe posebnošću, poput super "slow motiona" tijekom barske tučnjave iz izvornika ili izbjegavanja robotskih dronova.

Odrasli bi mogli prigovoriti na sinkronizaciju ljudskih likova, uočiti da Marsden ovaj put pokazuje znakove umora od glume u "prazno" s računalno-generiranim stvorenjem dodanim u postprodukciji i požaliti se na pretrpanost scenarija zbog čega nastavak nepotrebno traje dva sata, čak 20 minuta više od originala, a zbivanja se usporavaju, ironično za film o ježu supersonične brzine.

Podzaplet s vjenčanjem sestre (Natasha Rothwell) Tomove bolje polovice Maddie (Tika Sumpter) na Havajima krajnje je suvišan, kao i bizarna plesna borba u sibirskoj krčmi. Nakon naizglednog finala u hramu gdje se nalaze smaragdi, priča nije gotova. Priča ide dalje do pravog finala, kad Robotnik rastavlja tenkove, helikoptere i vlakove te od njih napravi divovsku "mecha" kreaturu s očnim laserom i šmrkalj raketama.

Robotnik je opet najživopisniji lik i Carrey krade show svojom facijalnom/tjelesnom elastičnošću i nepresušnom energijom. Glumac je propisno uživljen i raspoložen za blesavoću, što ne može sakriti ni sinkronizacija. Pa ipak, ako će se Carrey doista povući iz svijeta glume, kao što je najavio, šteta da će njegov posljednji film biti "Sonic The Hedgehog 2". Zaslužio je nešto bolje.

Elba kao Knuckles u originalnoj verziji

U hrvatskim kinima (pohvalno!) igraju u originalna/titlovana i sinkronizirana verzija. Knucklesu je u izvornoj verziji glas dao Idris Elba kojemu ovo nije prvi izlet u vokalne uloge. Posudio je glas i tigru Shere Khanu u "Knjizi o džungli".

"Kao da sam glumac u teatru apsurda." – "Sonic: Super Jež 2" (2022.)

Sonic: Super Jež, popularni lik iz SEGA-ine videoigre, može se pohvaliti da je njegov film bio posljednji predkoronski kinohit. Pušten polovicom veljače 2020., "Sonic The Hedgehog" je uspio zaraditi nešto manje od 150 milijuna dolara u Americi i preko 300 u svijetu prije nego što se korona razmahala i mic po mic počela zatvarati kina. Dvije godine kasnije, "Sonic: Super Jež 2" stigao je u kinodistribuciju u znatno povoljnijoj klimi i to se odražava na njegov uspjeh.

Kako je krenuo u premijernom vikendu, nastavak će biti veći hit od originala i studio Paramount Pictures nesumnjivo je dobio novu blockbustersku franšizu. "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" je tipični iskalkulirani nastavak koji širi svemir prethodnika, uvodi nove likove (Knuckles, Tails), ima više akcije i vizualnih efekata, traje duže...

"Marvelizacija" je primjetna u pristupu "Sonicu" i nastavak još više koketira s poetikom superherojskih blockbustera u odnosu na prethodnika, toliko da smaragdi koji imaju moć stvoriti i uništiti civilizacije podsjećaju na kamenja beskonačnosti iz nastavaka "Osvetnika" s daškom mitologije "Gospodara prstenova".

Za smaragdima traga negativac, doktor Robotnik (Jim Carrey), nakon što se vratio na Zemlju s Planeta gljiva, i to zajedno s "posljednjim i najopasnijim ratnikom u galaksiji" Knucklesom. Prije nego ih s Tailsom pokušava preduhitriti u tome, Sonic se pretvara da je "batmanovski" superjunak, Plavi pravednik, te koristi moći da spriječi pljačku, a njegov zemaljski otac Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) "spidermanovski" ga uči o preuzimanju odgovornosti za sebe i druge.

"Sonic: Super Jež 2" je pun referencija na druge filmove ("Riskantan posao", "Indiana Jones"...) i popkulturu ("brza i žestoka" zavada Vina Diesela i Dwaynea "The Rock" Johnsona), da počesto gubi vlastiti identitet i postaje derivativan, dok titularni lik pretendira biti svojevrsni Deadpool za klince željne blockbusterskog šarenila i eksplozija.

Referencije su tu za odrasle u publici, mame, tate, ujake..., ali to je sve što oni imaju od filma, lišenog neke sekvencije koja se ističe posebnošću, poput super "slow motiona" tijekom barske tučnjave iz izvornika ili izbjegavanja robotskih dronova.

Odrasli bi mogli prigovoriti na sinkronizaciju ljudskih likova, uočiti da Marsden ovaj put pokazuje znakove umora od glume u "prazno" s računalno-generiranim stvorenjem dodanim u postprodukciji i požaliti se na pretrpanost scenarija zbog čega nastavak nepotrebno traje dva sata, čak 20 minuta više od originala, a zbivanja se usporavaju, ironično za film o ježu supersonične brzine.

Podzaplet s vjenčanjem sestre (Natasha Rothwell) Tomove bolje polovice Maddie (Tika Sumpter) na Havajima krajnje je suvišan, kao i bizarna plesna borba u sibirskoj krčmi. Nakon naizglednog finala u hramu gdje se nalaze smaragdi, priča nije gotova. Priča ide dalje do pravog finala, kad Robotnik rastavlja tenkove, helikoptere i vlakove te od njih napravi divovsku "mecha" kreaturu s očnim laserom i šmrkalj raketama.

Robotnik je opet najživopisniji lik i Carrey krade show svojom facijalnom/tjelesnom elastičnošću i nepresušnom energijom. Glumac je propisno uživljen i raspoložen za blesavoću, što ne može sakriti ni sinkronizacija. Pa ipak, ako će se Carrey doista povući iz svijeta glume, kao što je najavio, šteta da će njegov posljednji film biti "Sonic The Hedgehog 2". Zaslužio je nešto bolje.

Elba kao Knuckles u originalnoj verziji

U hrvatskim kinima (pohvalno!) igraju u originalna/titlovana i sinkronizirana verzija. Knucklesu je u izvornoj verziji glas dao Idris Elba kojemu ovo nije prvi izlet u vokalne uloge. Posudio je glas i tigru Shere Khanu u "Knjizi o džungli".
