Svakojakih varijacija na legendarni akcijski film "Umri muški" nagledali smo se tijekom devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, u zlatnim danima žanra. Imali "Die Hard" na razaraču ("Pod opsadom"), u avionu ("Putnik 57", "Konačna odluka", "Air Force One"), vlaku ("Under Siege 2"), hokejaškoj dvorani ("Iznenadna smrt")...

Međutim, nikad nismo dobili "Umri muški" na svemirskom brodu ili "Die Hard" s Alienom. "Proboj" se oprobava u tom dosad neistraženom SF akcijsko-trilersko-hororskom konceptu koji ima transžanrovskog smisla.

Ako je "Predator", prema legendi, nastao iz vica, u smislu da bi Rocky Balboa, nakon četvrtog filma i meča s gorostasnim Ivanom Dragom, mogao boksati još samo s izvanzemaljcem kao jedinim preostalim dostojnim protivnikom, zašto ne bi Bruce Willis mogao umirati muški protiv Aliena i naslijediti Arnolda Schwarzeneggera ili Kurta Russella koji se, kao prvi akcijski junak, borio s alienskim monstrumom u "Stvoru".

U devedesetima, kad je Willis slovio za najkomercijalnijeg akcijskog heroja velikog ekrana ("Umri muški 2&3", "Armagedon"...), "Breach" bi bio propisni viskobudžetni blockbuster od formata, vjerojatno gledaniji od "Aliena 3&4" zajedno. Pa ipak, danas stvari drukčije stoje, nažalost.

Willis već neko vrijeme životari u "direktno-na-video" akcičićima sumnjive kakvoće i jedva da se na prste jedne i pol ruke mogu nabrojati (akcijski) kinofilmovi s njim u glavnoj ili iole važnijoj ulozi u posljednjih deset godina – "Plaćenici 2", "Looper", "G.I. Joe 2", "RED 2", "Die Hard 5" i "Osvetnik", "Glass", "Motherless Brooklyn".

Zato se njegova DTV hrpa gomila iz godine u godinu i količinski je neizbrojiva ("The Prince", "Vice", "Extraction", "Precious Cargo", "Marauders", "First Kill", "Acts Of Violence", "Reprisal", "10 Minutes Gone"...). Tužno je gledati dragog, šarmantnog, zabavnog i živahnog glumca kako krajnje nezainteresirano i beživotno mjesečari kroz takve negledljive filmove, dosađujući se i dosađujući gledatelju, čak i njegovim najvećim "die hard" fanovima.

Glumac je posudio svoje još uvijek zvučno ime mnoštvu bezvrijednih akcičića i odradio čitavu nisku uglavnom malih, sporednih uloga na autopilotu, usput kao malo tko od posrnulih (akcijskih) zvijezda (Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Nicolas Cage...) doktorirajući glumački "sleepwalking", možda zato što se rimuje s "Moonlighting", naslovom serije s kojom je skrenuo pozornost na sebe prije probojne uloge u prvom "Umri muški".

Uzimajući sve to u obzir, "Proboj" spada među bolje ili manje loše Willisove novovjeke direktno-na-video filmiće ("Bilo jednom u Veneciji") i ima relativno pristojne produkcijske vrijednosti. Naravno, priča o parazitskom stvorenju, koje će početi smicati posadu posljednjeg šatla na putu prema "novoj Zemlji" rastvarajući im tijelo iznutra prema van ili ga "noseći kao da je jeftino odijelo", teška je kopija niza kopija originalnog "Aliena" ("Na rubu horizonta", "Pandorum", "Trag života"...).

No, Willis se barem trudi biti akcijski "funny guy" kao nekoć, što mu ponekad i uspijeva, a i nalazi se takoreći u približno glavnoj ulozi. "Kako ću znati da hrčem ako spavam", pita cimer Wilisova lika nakon što ga ovaj upozori na hrkanje. "Tako što ti izbijem zube", odgovara Bruce podsjećajući na "one-linere" iz dana ponosa i slave ("Prljavi igraju prljavo").

"Ako je tu, ubijmo ga", predlaže Willisov lik u stilu Schwarzeneggera u "Predatoru" ("If it bleeds, we can kill it"). Bruce se očito ugledao na Arniejevu ulogu u spomenutom klasiku pa je aliensko čudovište nazvao i "ugly motherfucker", ali ugledao se i na nekadašnjeg akcijskog sebe, ne ovog novog Willisa. Za promjenu, Bruce šaketa i uzima oružje u ruke umjesto da pozira, a i trudi se biti nadahnut u šlagvortima.

"Tko hoće roštilj", pita on s bacačem plamena u ruci. Ovo je njegovo najbolje izdanje u posljednjih nekoliko godina uz repriziranje uloge Johna McClanea u "Die Hard" reklami za baterije koju potpisuje redatelj filma "Breach". "Treba više od aliena da mene zaustavi", podsjeća neuništivi Willis, zaslužujući proboj natrag u akcijsku "A" produkciju.

Svakojakih varijacija na legendarni akcijski film "Umri muški" nagledali smo se tijekom devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, u zlatnim danima žanra. Imali "Die Hard" na razaraču ("Pod opsadom"), u avionu ("Putnik 57", "Konačna odluka", "Air Force One"), vlaku ("Under Siege 2"), hokejaškoj dvorani ("Iznenadna smrt")...

Međutim, nikad nismo dobili "Umri muški" na svemirskom brodu ili "Die Hard" s Alienom. "Proboj" se oprobava u tom dosad neistraženom SF akcijsko-trilersko-hororskom konceptu koji ima transžanrovskog smisla.

Ako je "Predator", prema legendi, nastao iz vica, u smislu da bi Rocky Balboa, nakon četvrtog filma i meča s gorostasnim Ivanom Dragom, mogao boksati još samo s izvanzemaljcem kao jedinim preostalim dostojnim protivnikom, zašto ne bi Bruce Willis mogao umirati muški protiv Aliena i naslijediti Arnolda Schwarzeneggera ili Kurta Russella koji se, kao prvi akcijski junak, borio s alienskim monstrumom u "Stvoru".

U devedesetima, kad je Willis slovio za najkomercijalnijeg akcijskog heroja velikog ekrana ("Umri muški 2&3", "Armagedon"...), "Breach" bi bio propisni viskobudžetni blockbuster od formata, vjerojatno gledaniji od "Aliena 3&4" zajedno. Pa ipak, danas stvari drukčije stoje, nažalost.

Willis već neko vrijeme životari u "direktno-na-video" akcičićima sumnjive kakvoće i jedva da se na prste jedne i pol ruke mogu nabrojati (akcijski) kinofilmovi s njim u glavnoj ili iole važnijoj ulozi u posljednjih deset godina – "Plaćenici 2", "Looper", "G.I. Joe 2", "RED 2", "Die Hard 5" i "Osvetnik", "Glass", "Motherless Brooklyn".

Zato se njegova DTV hrpa gomila iz godine u godinu i količinski je neizbrojiva ("The Prince", "Vice", "Extraction", "Precious Cargo", "Marauders", "First Kill", "Acts Of Violence", "Reprisal", "10 Minutes Gone"...). Tužno je gledati dragog, šarmantnog, zabavnog i živahnog glumca kako krajnje nezainteresirano i beživotno mjesečari kroz takve negledljive filmove, dosađujući se i dosađujući gledatelju, čak i njegovim najvećim "die hard" fanovima.

Glumac je posudio svoje još uvijek zvučno ime mnoštvu bezvrijednih akcičića i odradio čitavu nisku uglavnom malih, sporednih uloga na autopilotu, usput kao malo tko od posrnulih (akcijskih) zvijezda (Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Nicolas Cage...) doktorirajući glumački "sleepwalking", možda zato što se rimuje s "Moonlighting", naslovom serije s kojom je skrenuo pozornost na sebe prije probojne uloge u prvom "Umri muški".

Uzimajući sve to u obzir, "Proboj" spada među bolje ili manje loše Willisove novovjeke direktno-na-video filmiće ("Bilo jednom u Veneciji") i ima relativno pristojne produkcijske vrijednosti. Naravno, priča o parazitskom stvorenju, koje će početi smicati posadu posljednjeg šatla na putu prema "novoj Zemlji" rastvarajući im tijelo iznutra prema van ili ga "noseći kao da je jeftino odijelo", teška je kopija niza kopija originalnog "Aliena" ("Na rubu horizonta", "Pandorum", "Trag života"...).

No, Willis se barem trudi biti akcijski "funny guy" kao nekoć, što mu ponekad i uspijeva, a i nalazi se takoreći u približno glavnoj ulozi. "Kako ću znati da hrčem ako spavam", pita cimer Wilisova lika nakon što ga ovaj upozori na hrkanje. "Tako što ti izbijem zube", odgovara Bruce podsjećajući na "one-linere" iz dana ponosa i slave ("Prljavi igraju prljavo").

"Ako je tu, ubijmo ga", predlaže Willisov lik u stilu Schwarzeneggera u "Predatoru" ("If it bleeds, we can kill it"). Bruce se očito ugledao na Arniejevu ulogu u spomenutom klasiku pa je aliensko čudovište nazvao i "ugly motherfucker", ali ugledao se i na nekadašnjeg akcijskog sebe, ne ovog novog Willisa. Za promjenu, Bruce šaketa i uzima oružje u ruke umjesto da pozira, a i trudi se biti nadahnut u šlagvortima.

"Tko hoće roštilj", pita on s bacačem plamena u ruci. Ovo je njegovo najbolje izdanje u posljednjih nekoliko godina uz repriziranje uloge Johna McClanea u "Die Hard" reklami za baterije koju potpisuje redatelj filma "Breach". "Treba više od aliena da mene zaustavi", podsjeća neuništivi Willis, zaslužujući proboj natrag u akcijsku "A" produkciju.

Willisu je nedavno izašao još jedan SF akcijski film, "Cosmic Sin" u kojem glumi s Frankom Grillom. Čekamo i njega u "online" videotekama.
