Vrgorski gradonačelnik Mile Herceg ovih dana je zvijezda društevnih mreža, jer prvi čovjek Tinova grada poslijepodneva provodi s društvom u kafiću gdje prati uspjehe "vatreni" u Kataru i redovito objavljuje status "Za Dom".

Naravno, Herceg na taj način šalje političke poruke, prije svega oporbi iz HDZ-ovih redova. pokušavajući na taj način reći da je i on dio desnice, dok ga oponenti smatraju političkim konvertitom. Naime, za gradonačelnika se spominje da je u Ljubuškom (BiH) bio član HDZ-a 1990, a podrijetlom je iz Prologa, sela uz samu granicu.

Nakon toga je ušao u Nezavisnu listu mladih s tadašnjim gradonačelnikom Antom Pranićem, a ta opcija je na nacionalnoj razini bila u suradnji s Mostom, a na lokalnoj sa SDP-om. Međutim, prvi čovjek Vrgorca itekako je svjestan gdje je granica, zato izostaje dodatak tom pozdravu - "spremni" - jer dio njegove biračke baze se nalazi i na lijevom centru, što bi se odmah odrazilo na broj glasova.

No, svakodnevica je takva da radovi na cesti od Ravče do Vrgorca kasne, stanovnici svako malo ostaju bez pitke vode, u pojedinim zaselcima, poput zavojanskih, vodovodna mreža još čeka sanaciju, poljski putevi u Rastoku i Jezeru su raskopani, Mijaca vape za vodom koja im je pred nosom, Dom športova prokišnjava, Poljica čekaju javnu rasvjetu...

No, nije problem samo u gradskoj vlasti, ima tu (ne)odgovornosti i na županijskoj i državnoj razini, a najbolji primjer za to je odugovlačenje s radovima na državnoj cesti od Ravče do Vrgorca, ali i Šetalištu Mate Raosa, što je zapravo prometnica koja vodi od autobusnog kolodvora do Škulja.

Na toj dionici državne ceste Vrgorac-Metković, u dužini od nekoliko stotina metara, od 2016. godine do danas, izgubljena su četiri ljudska života. Posljednja teška nesreća dogodila se krajem lipnja, kada su poginula dva momka.

Nažalost, ta ulica dosad je služila kao poligon za "razvlačenje" automobila i motocikala, nitko se nije sjetio staviti kameru za nadzor brzine ili uspornike, popularno zvane "ležeće policajce". Stanari okolnih zgrada nedavno su za "Slobodnu" kazali kako zbog sigurnosti svoje djece, namjeravaju pokrenuti peticiju ako Grad Vrgorac zajedno s policijskom postajom ne riješi ovaj problem.

No, prema riječima vrgorskog poteštata, lokalna vlast je napravila svoj dio posla, sada je sve na državnoj razini, odnosno tvrtke "Hrvatske ceste" (HC).

- Što se tiče postavljanja kamere za nadzor brzine, osobno sam u srpnju zvao nadležne iz HC-a u Splitu. Osim toga, poslali smo im dopis u vezi toga i posredstvom našeg Vijeća za komunalnu prevenciju - kazao nam je Herceg.

Vrgorski gradonačelnik Mile Herceg ovih dana je zvijezda društevnih mreža, jer prvi čovjek Tinova grada poslijepodneva provodi s društvom u kafiću gdje prati uspjehe "vatreni" u Kataru i redovito objavljuje status "Za Dom".

Naravno, Herceg na taj način šalje političke poruke, prije svega oporbi iz HDZ-ovih redova. pokušavajući na taj način reći da je i on dio desnice, dok ga oponenti smatraju političkim konvertitom. Naime, za gradonačelnika se spominje da je u Ljubuškom (BiH) bio član HDZ-a 1990, a podrijetlom je iz Prologa, sela uz samu granicu.

Nakon toga je ušao u Nezavisnu listu mladih s tadašnjim gradonačelnikom Antom Pranićem, a ta opcija je na nacionalnoj razini bila u suradnji s Mostom, a na lokalnoj sa SDP-om. Međutim, prvi čovjek Vrgorca itekako je svjestan gdje je granica, zato izostaje dodatak tom pozdravu - "spremni" - jer dio njegove biračke baze se nalazi i na lijevom centru, što bi se odmah odrazilo na broj glasova.

No, svakodnevica je takva da radovi na cesti od Ravče do Vrgorca kasne, stanovnici svako malo ostaju bez pitke vode, u pojedinim zaselcima, poput zavojanskih, vodovodna mreža još čeka sanaciju, poljski putevi u Rastoku i Jezeru su raskopani, Mijaca vape za vodom koja im je pred nosom, Dom športova prokišnjava, Poljica čekaju javnu rasvjetu...

No, nije problem samo u gradskoj vlasti, ima tu (ne)odgovornosti i na županijskoj i državnoj razini, a najbolji primjer za to je odugovlačenje s radovima na državnoj cesti od Ravče do Vrgorca, ali i Šetalištu Mate Raosa, što je zapravo prometnica koja vodi od autobusnog kolodvora do Škulja.

Na toj dionici državne ceste Vrgorac-Metković, u dužini od nekoliko stotina metara, od 2016. godine do danas, izgubljena su četiri ljudska života. Posljednja teška nesreća dogodila se krajem lipnja, kada su poginula dva momka.

Nažalost, ta ulica dosad je služila kao poligon za "razvlačenje" automobila i motocikala, nitko se nije sjetio staviti kameru za nadzor brzine ili uspornike, popularno zvane "ležeće policajce". Stanari okolnih zgrada nedavno su za "Slobodnu" kazali kako zbog sigurnosti svoje djece, namjeravaju pokrenuti peticiju ako Grad Vrgorac zajedno s policijskom postajom ne riješi ovaj problem.

No, prema riječima vrgorskog poteštata, lokalna vlast je napravila svoj dio posla, sada je sve na državnoj razini, odnosno tvrtke "Hrvatske ceste" (HC).

- Što se tiče postavljanja kamere za nadzor brzine, osobno sam u srpnju zvao nadležne iz HC-a u Splitu. Osim toga, poslali smo im dopis u vezi toga i posredstvom našeg Vijeća za komunalnu prevenciju - kazao nam je Herceg.
