Vrgorsko odlagalište otpada "Ajdanovac" planulo je drugi put u samo mjesec dana.

Prvi požar na tom deponiju izbio je početkom proteklog mjeseca, preciznije 2. kolovoza, a bio je brzo ugašen zahvaljujući naporima članova Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Vrgorac i zatrpavanjem zemljom koja je bila dopremljena kamionima. Međutim, vatra je ponovno izbila krajem proteklog tjedna, a smrad i dim šire se Vrgorskom krajinom, ugrožavajući zdravlje građana i živi svijet u prirodnom okolišu.

Prema odluci tadašnjeg Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, odlagalište "Ajdanovac" trebalo je biti zatvoreno još krajem 2018. godine. Je li se ta odluka doista i poštuje i primjenjuje na terenu, to najbolje znaju u "Gradskoj čistoći", javnoj tvrtki koja gospodari deponijem.

Do nas su već u nekoliko navrata stizale fotografije kako se smeće i dalje odlaže na tom deponiju, i to ne samo ono lokalno, nego i s područja drugih gradova. To je javno demantirao Toni Grljušić, direktor spomenute gradske tvrtke, navodeći da to "nije istina".

No, jedna je činjenica sasvim sigurna u ovoj priči, a to je spoznaja da je "Ajdanovac" rak-rana u prostoru, kao i da je potencijalna ekološka bomba koja se nalazi samo stotinjak metara zračne udaljenosti od izvora pitke vode Butina, s kojeg se opskrbljuje nekoliko tisuća stanovnika Vrgorske krajine i susjednih mjesta koja administrativno pripadaju Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji. I kao takav, deponij zahtijeva što bržu sanaciju i trajno zatvaranje.

Tko stoji iza vjerojatno podmetnutih požara na "Ajdanovcu", nije poznato, ali ostaje činjenica da su radnici "Gradske čistoće" prije imali organizirana dežurstva na odlagalištu otpada, dok su ona sad – ukinuta. Pokušali smo stupiti u kontakt s direktorom Grljušićem kako bi zainteresiranoj javnosti dao komentar o novonastaloj situaciji, ali on se nije odazivao do zaključenja ovog izdanja našeg lista.

Utemeljitelj vrgorskog DVD-a i najstariji lokalni gasitelj Nediljko Domandžić kaže da vatrogasci dežuraju uz odlagalište, a svakodnevno ga obilaze nekoliko puta.

– Zapovjednik je po noći dežurni u DVD-u, a mi idemo nekoliko puta dnevno na požarište. Međutim, nemoguće je to ugasiti bez angažiranja bagera i prekopavanja terena. Smeće se duboko uhvatilo i sad se od toga samo širi smrad i dim. Ne vidim rješenje u dovoženju zemlje i zatrpavanju, ali zašto se tako radi, trebate pitati komunalce – naglašava Domandžić.
Inače, povijest požara na "Ajdanovcu" nije od jučer. Ona je duga gotovo cijelo desetljeće, jer prvi veliki požar, i to podmetnuti, kako je tada govorio Boris Erceg, direktor tvrtke "Komunalno", izbio je nekoliko dana prije posjeta Vrgorcu tadašnje premijerke Jadranke Kosor, uoči otvaranja 10 kilometara duge dionice autoceste od Ravče do Vrgorca.

Vrgorsko odlagalište otpada "Ajdanovac" planulo je drugi put u samo mjesec dana.

Prvi požar na tom deponiju izbio je početkom proteklog mjeseca, preciznije 2. kolovoza, a bio je brzo ugašen zahvaljujući naporima članova Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Vrgorac i zatrpavanjem zemljom koja je bila dopremljena kamionima. Međutim, vatra je ponovno izbila krajem proteklog tjedna, a smrad i dim šire se Vrgorskom krajinom, ugrožavajući zdravlje građana i živi svijet u prirodnom okolišu.

Prema odluci tadašnjeg Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, odlagalište "Ajdanovac" trebalo je biti zatvoreno još krajem 2018. godine. Je li se ta odluka doista i poštuje i primjenjuje na terenu, to najbolje znaju u "Gradskoj čistoći", javnoj tvrtki koja gospodari deponijem.

Do nas su već u nekoliko navrata stizale fotografije kako se smeće i dalje odlaže na tom deponiju, i to ne samo ono lokalno, nego i s područja drugih gradova. To je javno demantirao Toni Grljušić, direktor spomenute gradske tvrtke, navodeći da to "nije istina".

No, jedna je činjenica sasvim sigurna u ovoj priči, a to je spoznaja da je "Ajdanovac" rak-rana u prostoru, kao i da je potencijalna ekološka bomba koja se nalazi samo stotinjak metara zračne udaljenosti od izvora pitke vode Butina, s kojeg se opskrbljuje nekoliko tisuća stanovnika Vrgorske krajine i susjednih mjesta koja administrativno pripadaju Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji. I kao takav, deponij zahtijeva što bržu sanaciju i trajno zatvaranje.

Tko stoji iza vjerojatno podmetnutih požara na "Ajdanovcu", nije poznato, ali ostaje činjenica da su radnici "Gradske čistoće" prije imali organizirana dežurstva na odlagalištu otpada, dok su ona sad – ukinuta. Pokušali smo stupiti u kontakt s direktorom Grljušićem kako bi zainteresiranoj javnosti dao komentar o novonastaloj situaciji, ali on se nije odazivao do zaključenja ovog izdanja našeg lista.

Utemeljitelj vrgorskog DVD-a i najstariji lokalni gasitelj Nediljko Domandžić kaže da vatrogasci dežuraju uz odlagalište, a svakodnevno ga obilaze nekoliko puta.

– Zapovjednik je po noći dežurni u DVD-u, a mi idemo nekoliko puta dnevno na požarište. Međutim, nemoguće je to ugasiti bez angažiranja bagera i prekopavanja terena. Smeće se duboko uhvatilo i sad se od toga samo širi smrad i dim. Ne vidim rješenje u dovoženju zemlje i zatrpavanju, ali zašto se tako radi, trebate pitati komunalce – naglašava Domandžić.
Inače, povijest požara na "Ajdanovcu" nije od jučer. Ona je duga gotovo cijelo desetljeće, jer prvi veliki požar, i to podmetnuti, kako je tada govorio Boris Erceg, direktor tvrtke "Komunalno", izbio je nekoliko dana prije posjeta Vrgorcu tadašnje premijerke Jadranke Kosor, uoči otvaranja 10 kilometara duge dionice autoceste od Ravče do Vrgorca.

Deponij gori drugi put u samo mjesec dana i guši Vrgorčane: odlagalište ‘Ajdanovac‘ trebalo je biti zatvoreno još krajem 2018. godine

Vrgorsko odlagalište otpada "Ajdanovac" planulo je drugi put u samo mjesec dana.

Prvi požar na tom deponiju izbio je početkom proteklog mjeseca, preciznije 2. kolovoza, a bio je brzo ugašen zahvaljujući naporima članova Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva Vrgorac i zatrpavanjem zemljom koja je bila dopremljena kamionima. Međutim, vatra je ponovno izbila krajem proteklog tjedna, a smrad i dim šire se Vrgorskom krajinom, ugrožavajući zdravlje građana i živi svijet u prirodnom okolišu.

Prema odluci tadašnjeg Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i energetike, odlagalište "Ajdanovac" trebalo je biti zatvoreno još krajem 2018. godine. Je li se ta odluka doista i poštuje i primjenjuje na terenu, to najbolje znaju u "Gradskoj čistoći", javnoj tvrtki koja gospodari deponijem.
