Počela je berba lubenica na neretvanskim poljima. Urod je iznimne kvalitete, dobra je prodajna cijena, pa je neretvanska lubenica slatka i proizvođačima i krajnjim potrošačima.

Samo da tako i ostane - rekli bi neretvanski poljoprivrednici, poučeni prošlogodišnjim lošim iskustvom, kada je kontigent uvozne lubenice doslovno preko noći upropastio domaću proizvodnju.

Ovog ljeta na području doline Neretve zasađeno je oko 300 hektara površina, na kojima se, ako ne bude nepredviđenih okolnosti, očekuje urod od dvanaest do petnaest tisuća tona kvalitetnih plodova.

Sadila se isključivo kalemljena (cijepljena) lubenica, koja nedvojbeno daje veći ukupan urod, a veći su i pojedinačni primjerci, koji mogu biti i do dvadesetak kilograma težine. Veličinu lubenice određuje podloga tikve, a u najčešćim slučajevima uzima se tikva sorte vrg, koja se potvrdila iznimno pogodnom u proizvodnji lubenica i ostalog vriježastog voća.

Dobro stanje

Poljoprivrednici su za sada zadovoljni ovogodišnjim urodom i prodajnom cijenom. Dobro stanje na tržištu lubenica mogu zahvaliti većoj cijeni lubenica u tradicionalno proizvođačkim zemljama otkuda se lubenica uvozi, gdje tamošnji poljoprivrednici drže veću cijenu lubenica pa veletrgovcima nije isplativo uvoziti u Republiku Hrvatsku.

- Za kilogram kvalitetnih lubenica trenutačno se može dobiti od 1,80 do 2 kune - pojašnjava nam agronom, dok se one lubenice ekstra klase prodaju i po 2,5 kuna, pojašnjava nam agronom Željko Bjeliš, koji se nada da bi se ovakva prodajna cijena trebala duže zadržati.

Toplo vrijeme je idealno za potrošnju lubenica, pa se on nada da ne bi trebalo biti značajnijih problema u prodaji. No, ipak se ograđuje od te tvrdnje jer kod nas dobro stanje preko noći može postati loše. Naime, trenutačno ima uvoza lubenica iz Albanije, koji za sada ne ugrožava domaću proizvodnju.

- Mislim da se ovog ljeta normalizirala situacija oko prodaje lubenica. Dogodilo se upravo ono što smo godinama zagovarali. Cijenom su zadovoljni svi, i proizvođači i krajnji potrošači, koji u maloprodaji lubenicu plaćaju po 3,5 kuna za kilogram - pojašnjava Bjeliš.

Ipak, u proizvodnji lubenica došlo je do određenih promjena, posebno u sortimentu. Zamjetan je trend prelaska na sorte manjih plodova (7-12 kg), koji su prihvatljiviji za trgovine i trgovačke lance, dok su plodovi krupniji od dvanaest kila pogodni za prodavače na tezgama i tržnicama.

Velika ulaganja

Iako prodaja za sada dobro ide, poljoprivrednicima je potrebno puno truda i rada da bi na lubenicama mogli ostvariti zaradu. Budući se sadnice lubenice dobivaju posebnim načinom kalemljenja poljoprivrednog proizvođača, prije iznošenja u polje koštaju pet kuna, kažu neretvanski povrtlari, koji ističu da za hektar posađenih lubenica treba uložiti i do 40 tisuća kuna.

Da bi poslovali na pozitivnoj nuli, poljoprivrednici bi lubenice od prve do posljednje trebali prodavati po minimalnoj prosječnoj cijeni od 1,5 kuna, jer u kalkulaciji proizvodnje lubenica otkupna cijena od 1,8 do 2 kune osiguravaju proizvođaču zaradu. Naime, urod lubenica na hektaru u idealnim uvjetima može biti oko pedeset tona uz uvjet kvalitetnog tla i vode za zalijevanje. Međutim, zalijevanje nekvalitetnom slanom vodom u Neretvi umanjuje prinose, jer u istim uvjetima proizvodnje, primjerice u Mađarskoj, hektar lubenica daje i do dvadeset posto bolje prinose.

Osim na hrvatskom tržištu, kvalitetne lubenice iz doline Neretve izvozit će se i u zemlje Europske unije, gdje su već od ranije prepoznate kao hrvatski brend, budući da je neretvanska lubenica, proizvedena na slankastom tlu, bogata likopenom, koji se u kozmetičkoj industriji smatra eliksirom mladosti.

Međutim, ono što proizvođače pak brine i na što se godinama upozorava, je uvoz iz trećih zemalja, poglavito Albanije. Upravo se to dogodilo prošlo ljeto, zbog čega je neretvanska lubenica ostala neobrana. Proizvođači se stoga nadaju da će država pojačati kontrole uvoza. Zapravo, svi su svjesni da se uvoz ne može zabraniti ali svakako bi trebalo pojačati kontrole po trgovačkim lancima gdje se uvozna lubenica prodaje kao domaća, dok proizvođači propadaju i zbrajaju gubitke.

Počela je berba lubenica na neretvanskim poljima. Urod je iznimne kvalitete, dobra je prodajna cijena, pa je neretvanska lubenica slatka i proizvođačima i krajnjim potrošačima.

Samo da tako i ostane - rekli bi neretvanski poljoprivrednici, poučeni prošlogodišnjim lošim iskustvom, kada je kontigent uvozne lubenice doslovno preko noći upropastio domaću proizvodnju.

Ovog ljeta na području doline Neretve zasađeno je oko 300 hektara površina, na kojima se, ako ne bude nepredviđenih okolnosti, očekuje urod od dvanaest do petnaest tisuća tona kvalitetnih plodova.

Sadila se isključivo kalemljena (cijepljena) lubenica, koja nedvojbeno daje veći ukupan urod, a veći su i pojedinačni primjerci, koji mogu biti i do dvadesetak kilograma težine. Veličinu lubenice određuje podloga tikve, a u najčešćim slučajevima uzima se tikva sorte vrg, koja se potvrdila iznimno pogodnom u proizvodnji lubenica i ostalog vriježastog voća.

Dobro stanje

Poljoprivrednici su za sada zadovoljni ovogodišnjim urodom i prodajnom cijenom. Dobro stanje na tržištu lubenica mogu zahvaliti većoj cijeni lubenica u tradicionalno proizvođačkim zemljama otkuda se lubenica uvozi, gdje tamošnji poljoprivrednici drže veću cijenu lubenica pa veletrgovcima nije isplativo uvoziti u Republiku Hrvatsku.

- Za kilogram kvalitetnih lubenica trenutačno se može dobiti od 1,80 do 2 kune - pojašnjava nam agronom, dok se one lubenice ekstra klase prodaju i po 2,5 kuna, pojašnjava nam agronom Željko Bjeliš, koji se nada da bi se ovakva prodajna cijena trebala duže zadržati.

Toplo vrijeme je idealno za potrošnju lubenica, pa se on nada da ne bi trebalo biti značajnijih problema u prodaji. No, ipak se ograđuje od te tvrdnje jer kod nas dobro stanje preko noći može postati loše. Naime, trenutačno ima uvoza lubenica iz Albanije, koji za sada ne ugrožava domaću proizvodnju.

- Mislim da se ovog ljeta normalizirala situacija oko prodaje lubenica. Dogodilo se upravo ono što smo godinama zagovarali. Cijenom su zadovoljni svi, i proizvođači i krajnji potrošači, koji u maloprodaji lubenicu plaćaju po 3,5 kuna za kilogram - pojašnjava Bjeliš.

Ipak, u proizvodnji lubenica došlo je do određenih promjena, posebno u sortimentu. Zamjetan je trend prelaska na sorte manjih plodova (7-12 kg), koji su prihvatljiviji za trgovine i trgovačke lance, dok su plodovi krupniji od dvanaest kila pogodni za prodavače na tezgama i tržnicama.

Velika ulaganja

Iako prodaja za sada dobro ide, poljoprivrednicima je potrebno puno truda i rada da bi na lubenicama mogli ostvariti zaradu. Budući se sadnice lubenice dobivaju posebnim načinom kalemljenja poljoprivrednog proizvođača, prije iznošenja u polje koštaju pet kuna, kažu neretvanski povrtlari, koji ističu da za hektar posađenih lubenica treba uložiti i do 40 tisuća kuna.

Da bi poslovali na pozitivnoj nuli, poljoprivrednici bi lubenice od prve do posljednje trebali prodavati po minimalnoj prosječnoj cijeni od 1,5 kuna, jer u kalkulaciji proizvodnje lubenica otkupna cijena od 1,8 do 2 kune osiguravaju proizvođaču zaradu. Naime, urod lubenica na hektaru u idealnim uvjetima može biti oko pedeset tona uz uvjet kvalitetnog tla i vode za zalijevanje. Međutim, zalijevanje nekvalitetnom slanom vodom u Neretvi umanjuje prinose, jer u istim uvjetima proizvodnje, primjerice u Mađarskoj, hektar lubenica daje i do dvadeset posto bolje prinose.

Osim na hrvatskom tržištu, kvalitetne lubenice iz doline Neretve izvozit će se i u zemlje Europske unije, gdje su već od ranije prepoznate kao hrvatski brend, budući da je neretvanska lubenica, proizvedena na slankastom tlu, bogata likopenom, koji se u kozmetičkoj industriji smatra eliksirom mladosti.

Međutim, ono što proizvođače pak brine i na što se godinama upozorava, je uvoz iz trećih zemalja, poglavito Albanije. Upravo se to dogodilo prošlo ljeto, zbog čega je neretvanska lubenica ostala neobrana. Proizvođači se stoga nadaju da će država pojačati kontrole uvoza. Zapravo, svi su svjesni da se uvoz ne može zabraniti ali svakako bi trebalo pojačati kontrole po trgovačkim lancima gdje se uvozna lubenica prodaje kao domaća, dok proizvođači propadaju i zbrajaju gubitke.
