Nedjelja, rano sunčano popodne. Zazvonio nam je mobitel, javio nam se znanac, pozivajući nas da dođemo na autobusni kolodvor šibenskog ATP-a vidjeti jednog čovjeka. Beskućnika u nevolji.

Došli smo za pola sata. Stariji čovjek prilegao na klupu, s torbom pod glavom i sa svime što ima noseći to sa sobom. Kao neki suvremeni Diogenes sa svojom svjetiljkom. "Omnia mea mecum porto", govorio je.

Neki putnici što su čekali autobuse ni osvrnuli se nisu.

Predstavio nam se: Dušan Praskić (78) iz Nove Gradiške, duže vrijeme živi u Šibeniku gdje je i radio u "Izgradnji". Invalid je od jednoga teškog pada, a trpi i od slabe cirkulacije. Hoda pomoću šaka. Obitelj ga je zanemarila. Žena već dugo ne živi s njim, dvije kćeri ne žele čuti za njega. I brat ga je otjerao. Nema više kud.

– Ova klupa pred ulazom je sada moj dom već dvadesetak dana – kaže nam Dušan, otežanim, promuklim glasom.

– Danju je kako-tako. Noću nikako. Imam pokrivače i nešto pod glavu i leđa. Osoblje kolodvora ne dopušta mi da boravim u zatvorenom prostoru. Niti danju, a kamoli navečer. Već sam zaboravio što je krevet i topao dom. Ne znam koliko ću još moći ovako izdržati – govori nam.

Jeste li se komu u Šibeniku obraćali za pomoć?, pitamo u nevjerici.
– Išao sam u Caritas pitati mogu li me negdje smjestiti, makar privremeno. Odgovorili su mi da žale, ali da u njihovu konačištu za beskućnike nema slobodnog kreveta. Potom je slično bilo i u Dom za stare i nemoćne. Tamo je ista situacija, a treba i skupo platiti. Tako sam sada na ulici. I jedva da se mogu prehraniti.

Kad potroši 600 kuna za lijekove (trenutačno nema ni zdravstveno osiguranje), od onoga što mu ostane kupi hranu, koju pojede gdje stigne.

I tako mu dani prolaze, a noći su sve hladnije. Nikoga u blizini ni za utjehu nema.
– Ipak, kaže, obiđe me prijatelj koji vas je pozvao, Bore Vranić iz Plastova kod Skradina.

Sjećamo se Bore koji je i sam jedno vrijeme koristio usluge Caritasa.
– Vjerujem da ću Dušanu moći pomoći – kaže.

– Poznajemo se nekoliko godina. Povest ću ga sa sobom u selo. Imam za njega i jednu slobodnu sobu. Ništa mu za to neću tražiti, u nadi da će se za njega ipak pronaći smještaj. Ne mogu gledati da čovjek ovako pati... – govori nam Bore.

Nažalost, ima onih koji ovakve tragedije potrebitih promatraju s dozom ravnodušnosti. Takvih, nažalost, možda ima i u nekim službama Grada i Županije. Za otpisane kao što je nesretni Dušan, sve više manjka i osobne i društvene osjetljivosti.

– Nažalost, nije ni prvi ni posljednji takav slučaj – komentirala je jedna građanka kad smo spomenuli tu životnu dramu nesretnog čovjeka, kojoj smo svjedočili.

Nedjelja, rano sunčano popodne. Zazvonio nam je mobitel, javio nam se znanac, pozivajući nas da dođemo na autobusni kolodvor šibenskog ATP-a vidjeti jednog čovjeka. Beskućnika u nevolji.

Došli smo za pola sata. Stariji čovjek prilegao na klupu, s torbom pod glavom i sa svime što ima noseći to sa sobom. Kao neki suvremeni Diogenes sa svojom svjetiljkom. "Omnia mea mecum porto", govorio je.

Neki putnici što su čekali autobuse ni osvrnuli se nisu.

Predstavio nam se: Dušan Praskić (78) iz Nove Gradiške, duže vrijeme živi u Šibeniku gdje je i radio u "Izgradnji". Invalid je od jednoga teškog pada, a trpi i od slabe cirkulacije. Hoda pomoću šaka. Obitelj ga je zanemarila. Žena već dugo ne živi s njim, dvije kćeri ne žele čuti za njega. I brat ga je otjerao. Nema više kud.

– Ova klupa pred ulazom je sada moj dom već dvadesetak dana – kaže nam Dušan, otežanim, promuklim glasom.

– Danju je kako-tako. Noću nikako. Imam pokrivače i nešto pod glavu i leđa. Osoblje kolodvora ne dopušta mi da boravim u zatvorenom prostoru. Niti danju, a kamoli navečer. Već sam zaboravio što je krevet i topao dom. Ne znam koliko ću još moći ovako izdržati – govori nam.

Jeste li se komu u Šibeniku obraćali za pomoć?, pitamo u nevjerici.
– Išao sam u Caritas pitati mogu li me negdje smjestiti, makar privremeno. Odgovorili su mi da žale, ali da u njihovu konačištu za beskućnike nema slobodnog kreveta. Potom je slično bilo i u Dom za stare i nemoćne. Tamo je ista situacija, a treba i skupo platiti. Tako sam sada na ulici. I jedva da se mogu prehraniti.

Kad potroši 600 kuna za lijekove (trenutačno nema ni zdravstveno osiguranje), od onoga što mu ostane kupi hranu, koju pojede gdje stigne.

I tako mu dani prolaze, a noći su sve hladnije. Nikoga u blizini ni za utjehu nema.
– Ipak, kaže, obiđe me prijatelj koji vas je pozvao, Bore Vranić iz Plastova kod Skradina.

Sjećamo se Bore koji je i sam jedno vrijeme koristio usluge Caritasa.
– Vjerujem da ću Dušanu moći pomoći – kaže.

– Poznajemo se nekoliko godina. Povest ću ga sa sobom u selo. Imam za njega i jednu slobodnu sobu. Ništa mu za to neću tražiti, u nadi da će se za njega ipak pronaći smještaj. Ne mogu gledati da čovjek ovako pati... – govori nam Bore.

Nažalost, ima onih koji ovakve tragedije potrebitih promatraju s dozom ravnodušnosti. Takvih, nažalost, možda ima i u nekim službama Grada i Županije. Za otpisane kao što je nesretni Dušan, sve više manjka i osobne i društvene osjetljivosti.

– Nažalost, nije ni prvi ni posljednji takav slučaj – komentirala je jedna građanka kad smo spomenuli tu životnu dramu nesretnog čovjeka, kojoj smo svjedočili.

Nedjelja, rano sunčano popodne. Zazvonio nam je mobitel, javio nam se znanac, pozivajući nas da dođemo na autobusni kolodvor šibenskog ATP-a vidjeti jednog čovjeka. Beskućnika u nevolji.

Došli smo za pola sata. Stariji čovjek prilegao na klupu, s torbom pod glavom i sa svime što ima noseći to sa sobom. Kao neki suvremeni Diogenes sa svojom svjetiljkom. "Omnia mea mecum porto", govorio je.

Neki putnici što su čekali autobuse ni osvrnuli se nisu.

Predstavio nam se: Dušan Praskić (78) iz Nove Gradiške, duže vrijeme živi u Šibeniku gdje je i radio u "Izgradnji". Invalid je od jednoga teškog pada, a trpi i od slabe cirkulacije. Hoda pomoću šaka. Obitelj ga je zanemarila. Žena već dugo ne živi s njim, dvije kćeri ne žele čuti za njega. I brat ga je otjerao. Nema više kud.

– Ova klupa pred ulazom je sada moj dom već dvadesetak dana – kaže nam Dušan, otežanim, promuklim glasom.

– Danju je kako-tako. Noću nikako. Imam pokrivače i nešto pod glavu i leđa. Osoblje kolodvora ne dopušta mi da boravim u zatvorenom prostoru. Niti danju, a kamoli navečer. Već sam zaboravio što je krevet i topao dom. Ne znam koliko ću još moći ovako izdržati – govori nam.

Jeste li se komu u Šibeniku obraćali za pomoć?, pitamo u nevjerici.
– Išao sam u Caritas pitati mogu li me negdje smjestiti, makar privremeno. Odgovorili su mi da žale, ali da u njihovu konačištu za beskućnike nema slobodnog kreveta. Potom je slično bilo i u Dom za stare i nemoćne. Tamo je ista situacija, a treba i skupo platiti. Tako sam sada na ulici. I jedva da se mogu prehraniti.

Kad potroši 600 kuna za lijekove (trenutačno nema ni zdravstveno osiguranje), od onoga što mu ostane kupi hranu, koju pojede gdje stigne.

I tako mu dani prolaze, a noći su sve hladnije. Nikoga u blizini ni za utjehu nema.
– Ipak, kaže, obiđe me prijatelj koji vas je pozvao, Bore Vranić iz Plastova kod Skradina.

Sjećamo se Bore koji je i sam jedno vrijeme koristio usluge Caritasa.
– Vjerujem da ću Dušanu moći pomoći – kaže.

– Poznajemo se nekoliko godina. Povest ću ga sa sobom u selo. Imam za njega i jednu slobodnu sobu. Ništa mu za to neću tražiti, u nadi da će se za njega ipak pronaći smještaj. Ne mogu gledati da čovjek ovako pati... – govori nam Bore.

Nažalost, ima onih koji ovakve tragedije potrebitih promatraju s dozom ravnodušnosti. Takvih, nažalost, možda ima i u nekim službama Grada i Županije. Za otpisane kao što je nesretni Dušan, sve više manjka i osobne i društvene osjetljivosti.

– Nažalost, nije ni prvi ni posljednji takav slučaj – komentirala je jedna građanka kad smo spomenuli tu životnu dramu nesretnog čovjeka, kojoj smo svjedočili.
