Zamislite kako bi bilo lijepo sjesti u omanje vozilo, dati gas i za desetak minuta naći se u Nečujmu na Šolti ili u Bobovišću na Braču, cijeli dan uživati u suncu i čistom moru, a onda se navečer jednako brzo vratiti u matičnu luku. I to bez ljuljanja na valovima, potpuno udobno.
Lijepo zvuči, ali nije realno. Istina, donedavno nije bilo, ali sada bome jest. Za to je zaslužna američka tvrtka Hammacher Schlemmer koja je dizajnirala neobično osobno prometalo koje je istodobno plovilo, lebdjelica i letjelica zahvaljujući odlično posloženim adutima za sve te tri funkcije.

Privezano malo žuto čudo mirno će plutati vezano u nekoj lučici čekajući vaš dolazak i zajedničku avanturu. Jer kako drukčije nazvati ono što slijedi.

Upalite krmeni potisni propeler i na laganom gasu isplovite iz lučice, potom pokrenete i onaj horizontalni za vertikalni uzgon i na zračnom jastuku se uzdignete iznad površine mora koliko omogućava suknjica od vinila, kao kod svakog hovercrafta.
Tako uzdignuti možete kliziti iznad mora bez poskakivanja i otpora, no malena i široka integrirana krila omogućuju vam i ono što obični hovercraft ne može. Zahvaljujući njima, flying hovercraft se može uzdignuti znatno više, čak do 6 metara iznad površine i lebdeći se kretati naprijed brzinom od čak 113 km na sat.

Ne samo iznad mora ili nekog jezera, nego i iznad pijeska, blata, trave ili snijega. Tako leteći možete prevaliti udaljenost do 250 kilometara zahvaljujući dvocilindričnom benzinskom motoru s turbopunjačem od 130 KS.
Dakle, praktički bi iz Splita mogli dosegnuti ne samo sve pučinske otoke, nego i obalu Italije.
Da i ne spominjemo kako bi zaljubljenici u pučinski ribolov mogli vrlo brzo doletjeti i do najudaljenije pošte, uživati u ribolovu i isti se dan vratiti kući. Praktično, zar ne?
Jednostavno upravljanje
Pritom upravljanje nije poseban problem i lako se nauči. Joystick kontrolira tri okomita kormila, zakretni regulator gasa brzinu prema naprijed, a varijabilni pogonski sustav uzgonski ventilator za lebdenje.
Kada se želi usporiti i stati, broj okretaja ventilatora za podizanje se smanjuje, a ugrađeni su i klizači za slijetanje od kompozitnog kevlara koji hovercraftu omogućuju da se sigurno prizemlji i na pogodno čvrsto tlo. Zahvaljujući, pak, niskom centru gravitacije i kompozitnom trupu od staklenih vlakana i PVC-a, može se koristiti i pri vjetru brzine do 25 mph.

Maksimalna nosivost dok lebdeći leti punom brzinom mu je 272 kg, što znači da može primiti i prevesti do tri osobe. Kažimo na kraju i da je cijena ovog višenamjenskog plovila-letjelice sukladna njegovim iznimnim mogućnostima i iznosi 190.000 dolara.

Lijepo zvuči, ali nije realno. Istina, donedavno nije bilo, ali sada bome jest. Za to je zaslužna američka tvrtka Hammacher Schlemmer koja je dizajnirala neobično osobno prometalo koje je istodobno plovilo, lebdjelica i letjelica zahvaljujući odlično posloženim adutima za sve te tri funkcije.

Privezano malo žuto čudo mirno će plutati vezano u nekoj lučici čekajući vaš dolazak i zajedničku avanturu. Jer kako drukčije nazvati ono što slijedi.

Upalite krmeni potisni propeler i na laganom gasu isplovite iz lučice, potom pokrenete i onaj horizontalni za vertikalni uzgon i na zračnom jastuku se uzdignete iznad površine mora koliko omogućava suknjica od vinila, kao kod svakog hovercrafta.
Tako uzdignuti možete kliziti iznad mora bez poskakivanja i otpora, no malena i široka integrirana krila omogućuju vam i ono što obični hovercraft ne može. Zahvaljujući njima, flying hovercraft se može uzdignuti znatno više, čak do 6 metara iznad površine i lebdeći se kretati naprijed brzinom od čak 113 km na sat.

Ne samo iznad mora ili nekog jezera, nego i iznad pijeska, blata, trave ili snijega. Tako leteći možete prevaliti udaljenost do 250 kilometara zahvaljujući dvocilindričnom benzinskom motoru s turbopunjačem od 130 KS.
Dakle, praktički bi iz Splita mogli dosegnuti ne samo sve pučinske otoke, nego i obalu Italije.
Da i ne spominjemo kako bi zaljubljenici u pučinski ribolov mogli vrlo brzo doletjeti i do najudaljenije pošte, uživati u ribolovu i isti se dan vratiti kući. Praktično, zar ne?
Jednostavno upravljanje
Pritom upravljanje nije poseban problem i lako se nauči. Joystick kontrolira tri okomita kormila, zakretni regulator gasa brzinu prema naprijed, a varijabilni pogonski sustav uzgonski ventilator za lebdenje.
Kada se želi usporiti i stati, broj okretaja ventilatora za podizanje se smanjuje, a ugrađeni su i klizači za slijetanje od kompozitnog kevlara koji hovercraftu omogućuju da se sigurno prizemlji i na pogodno čvrsto tlo. Zahvaljujući, pak, niskom centru gravitacije i kompozitnom trupu od staklenih vlakana i PVC-a, može se koristiti i pri vjetru brzine do 25 mph.

Maksimalna nosivost dok lebdeći leti punom brzinom mu je 272 kg, što znači da može primiti i prevesti do tri osobe. Kažimo na kraju i da je cijena ovog višenamjenskog plovila-letjelice sukladna njegovim iznimnim mogućnostima i iznosi 190.000 dolara.
