Prazni brodovi zaplovili su između Atlantskog i Tihog oceana. Prazni - bez posade. Ne zapovijeda im posada ukletih gusara koja traži blago, već se radi o najnovijim autonomnim ili besposadnim brodovima američke vojske, piše IFL Science.

Nedavno je Ured ministra obrane za strateške sposobnosti, zajedno s američkom mornaricom, potvrdio uspjeh drugog po redu dalekog putovanja besposadnog broda, prenosi RTL.

Autonomno ili besposadno plovilo NOMAD putovalo je 8.187 kilometara (4.421 nautička milja) od obale Meksičkog zaljeva, prolazeći kroz Panamski kanal sve do obale Tihog oceana. Nevjerojatan podatak je taj da je čak 98 posto putovanja završeno u autonomnom načinu rada, bez pomoći čovjeka, osim dijela prolaza kroz Panamski kanal.

Brod je dio programa Ghost Fleet Overlord, u kojem je još jedno autonomno plovilo, RANGER, završilo sličan tranzit u listopadu 2020. godine. Iako o radu plovila ne govore, pretpostavlja se da se koristi umjetna inteligencija i strojno učenje. Prema američkoj mornarici, trenutno testiraju i NOMAD i RANGER kako bi "savladali autonomne sustave, demonstrirali njihovu pouzdanost i istražili koncepte zapošljavanja za koordinirane operacije s naoružanim ljudstvom".

Pojam "autonomno vozilo" obično se povezuje s zrakoplovnim bespilotnim letjelicama (dronovima) i samovozećim automobilima, ali sve je veći interes za besposadnim brodovima koji plove morima s vrlo malim brojem članova posade ili gotovo nijednim. Na primjer, pojedinci smatraju besposadne teretne brodove neizbježnim sljedećim korakom u pomorstvu.

Postoji nekoliko prednosti autonomnih brodova. Prvo, većinu pomorskih nesreća uzrokuje ljudski faktor, što, između ostalog, potvrđuje i nedavna blokada Sueskog kanala. Upravo zbog toga bi se umjetna inteligencija mogla pokazati znatno sigurnijim kapetanom od čovjeka.

Isto tako, besposadni brodovi se mogu lakše graditi, s manje prostora za posadu, što smanjuje potrošnju goriva, čime se direktno utječe na okoliš, ali i troškove. S druge strane, ako brod nema posadu koja sa sobom ima određen novac ili ostale vrijedne stvari, automatski je manje privlačan gusarima.

S obzirom na to da postoje prepreke kod svake nove tehnologije, onu su se pojavile i kod besposadnih brodova, a riječ je o pouzdanosti, pitanja odgovornosti, nedorečenih propisa i prijetnji od kibernetičkih napada. Ipak, izgleda da se bliska budućnost pomorstva oslanja na besposadne brodove.

“Ovo se događa. Ne govorimo o pojmovima 'ako', nego 'kada'. Doista postoje tehnologije potrebne za daljinske i autonomne brodove", rekao je potpredsjednik za inovacije Rolls-Roycea Oskar Levander. 

"Daljinsko upravljani brod vidjet ćemo u komercijalnoj upotrebi do kraja desetljeća", zaključio je, prenosi RTL.

Prazni brodovi zaplovili su između Atlantskog i Tihog oceana. Prazni - bez posade. Ne zapovijeda im posada ukletih gusara koja traži blago, već se radi o najnovijim autonomnim ili besposadnim brodovima američke vojske, piše IFL Science.

Nedavno je Ured ministra obrane za strateške sposobnosti, zajedno s američkom mornaricom, potvrdio uspjeh drugog po redu dalekog putovanja besposadnog broda, prenosi RTL.

Autonomno ili besposadno plovilo NOMAD putovalo je 8.187 kilometara (4.421 nautička milja) od obale Meksičkog zaljeva, prolazeći kroz Panamski kanal sve do obale Tihog oceana. Nevjerojatan podatak je taj da je čak 98 posto putovanja završeno u autonomnom načinu rada, bez pomoći čovjeka, osim dijela prolaza kroz Panamski kanal.

Brod je dio programa Ghost Fleet Overlord, u kojem je još jedno autonomno plovilo, RANGER, završilo sličan tranzit u listopadu 2020. godine. Iako o radu plovila ne govore, pretpostavlja se da se koristi umjetna inteligencija i strojno učenje. Prema američkoj mornarici, trenutno testiraju i NOMAD i RANGER kako bi "savladali autonomne sustave, demonstrirali njihovu pouzdanost i istražili koncepte zapošljavanja za koordinirane operacije s naoružanim ljudstvom".

Pojam "autonomno vozilo" obično se povezuje s zrakoplovnim bespilotnim letjelicama (dronovima) i samovozećim automobilima, ali sve je veći interes za besposadnim brodovima koji plove morima s vrlo malim brojem članova posade ili gotovo nijednim. Na primjer, pojedinci smatraju besposadne teretne brodove neizbježnim sljedećim korakom u pomorstvu.

Postoji nekoliko prednosti autonomnih brodova. Prvo, većinu pomorskih nesreća uzrokuje ljudski faktor, što, između ostalog, potvrđuje i nedavna blokada Sueskog kanala. Upravo zbog toga bi se umjetna inteligencija mogla pokazati znatno sigurnijim kapetanom od čovjeka.

Isto tako, besposadni brodovi se mogu lakše graditi, s manje prostora za posadu, što smanjuje potrošnju goriva, čime se direktno utječe na okoliš, ali i troškove. S druge strane, ako brod nema posadu koja sa sobom ima određen novac ili ostale vrijedne stvari, automatski je manje privlačan gusarima.

S obzirom na to da postoje prepreke kod svake nove tehnologije, onu su se pojavile i kod besposadnih brodova, a riječ je o pouzdanosti, pitanja odgovornosti, nedorečenih propisa i prijetnji od kibernetičkih napada. Ipak, izgleda da se bliska budućnost pomorstva oslanja na besposadne brodove.

“Ovo se događa. Ne govorimo o pojmovima 'ako', nego 'kada'. Doista postoje tehnologije potrebne za daljinske i autonomne brodove", rekao je potpredsjednik za inovacije Rolls-Roycea Oskar Levander. 

"Daljinsko upravljani brod vidjet ćemo u komercijalnoj upotrebi do kraja desetljeća", zaključio je, prenosi RTL.

Prazni brodovi zaplovili su između Atlantskog i Tihog oceana. Prazni - bez posade. Ne zapovijeda im posada ukletih gusara koja traži blago, već se radi o najnovijim autonomnim ili besposadnim brodovima američke vojske, piše IFL Science.

Nedavno je Ured ministra obrane za strateške sposobnosti, zajedno s američkom mornaricom, potvrdio uspjeh drugog po redu dalekog putovanja besposadnog broda, prenosi RTL.

Autonomno ili besposadno plovilo NOMAD putovalo je 8.187 kilometara (4.421 nautička milja) od obale Meksičkog zaljeva, prolazeći kroz Panamski kanal sve do obale Tihog oceana. Nevjerojatan podatak je taj da je čak 98 posto putovanja završeno u autonomnom načinu rada, bez pomoći čovjeka, osim dijela prolaza kroz Panamski kanal.

Brod je dio programa Ghost Fleet Overlord, u kojem je još jedno autonomno plovilo, RANGER, završilo sličan tranzit u listopadu 2020. godine. Iako o radu plovila ne govore, pretpostavlja se da se koristi umjetna inteligencija i strojno učenje. Prema američkoj mornarici, trenutno testiraju i NOMAD i RANGER kako bi "savladali autonomne sustave, demonstrirali njihovu pouzdanost i istražili koncepte zapošljavanja za koordinirane operacije s naoružanim ljudstvom".

Pojam "autonomno vozilo" obično se povezuje s zrakoplovnim bespilotnim letjelicama (dronovima) i samovozećim automobilima, ali sve je veći interes za besposadnim brodovima koji plove morima s vrlo malim brojem članova posade ili gotovo nijednim. Na primjer, pojedinci smatraju besposadne teretne brodove neizbježnim sljedećim korakom u pomorstvu.

Postoji nekoliko prednosti autonomnih brodova. Prvo, većinu pomorskih nesreća uzrokuje ljudski faktor, što, između ostalog, potvrđuje i nedavna blokada Sueskog kanala. Upravo zbog toga bi se umjetna inteligencija mogla pokazati znatno sigurnijim kapetanom od čovjeka.

Isto tako, besposadni brodovi se mogu lakše graditi, s manje prostora za posadu, što smanjuje potrošnju goriva, čime se direktno utječe na okoliš, ali i troškove. S druge strane, ako brod nema posadu koja sa sobom ima određen novac ili ostale vrijedne stvari, automatski je manje privlačan gusarima.

S obzirom na to da postoje prepreke kod svake nove tehnologije, onu su se pojavile i kod besposadnih brodova, a riječ je o pouzdanosti, pitanja odgovornosti, nedorečenih propisa i prijetnji od kibernetičkih napada. Ipak, izgleda da se bliska budućnost pomorstva oslanja na besposadne brodove.

“Ovo se događa. Ne govorimo o pojmovima 'ako', nego 'kada'. Doista postoje tehnologije potrebne za daljinske i autonomne brodove", rekao je potpredsjednik za inovacije Rolls-Roycea Oskar Levander. 

"Daljinsko upravljani brod vidjet ćemo u komercijalnoj upotrebi do kraja desetljeća", zaključio je, prenosi RTL.
