Za Google Maps se može reći da uistinu olakšava putovanja, ali ova aplikacija za navigaciju zna navesti na ‘krivu‘ cestu i koštati živaca. Pelješčani ukazuju kako putnike koji koriste ovu virtualnu kartu, a putuju primjerice iz smjera Metkovića preko Pelješkog mosta prema Orebiću, osim na trajekt, upute vode kroz samu Brijestu.

Karta ih ne upućuje novom cestom na Dančanje nego kroz samo mjesto, na mnogo uži put prema uvali Žuronja pa obalom sve do Drača, što opterećuje promet kroz mjesto.
