Svečana sjednica Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika uz Dan Grada i Festu svetog Vlaha tradicionalno je održana na Kandeloru, u srijedu, 2. veljače u Kazalištu Marina Držića.

Sjednicu je otvorio predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika Marko Potrebica. Uvodno je istaknuo kako je d Gradsko vijeće u proteklih godinu dana imalo 11 sjednica koje su trajale ukupno 82 sata s 299 točaka dnevnog reda. Čak je 65 posto odluka usvojeno jednoglasno, a dvotrećinskom većinom njih 75 posto. –„Privrženost katoličkoj crkvi i Svetom Vlahu je naše nasljeđe i uvjerenje. Poštovati i ljubiti svoje, a istovremeno biti tolerantan i surađivati s drugima i različitima jedan je od postulata naše slavne prošlosti. Živimo u vremenu relativiziranja i negiranja vrijednosti koje su kroz stoljeća utkane u mire našeg grada i genetski kod našeg čovjeka. Kršćanstvo i demokršćanske vrijednosti generacijama i stoljećima bile su vrijednosti našeg napretka. Nisu i ne mogu postati arhaizmi, oni su dio našeg identiteta našeg naroda“, rekao je predsjednik Vijeća Potrebica.

Nakon prikazivanja filma „Od Feste do Feste“ s pregledom gradskih projekata realiziranih u vremenu od prethodne Feste i Dana Grada, gradonačelnik Mato Franković održao je tradicionalni govor kojim se osvrnuo na proteklo jednogodišnje razdoblje.

Prigodne govore održali su i župan Nikola Dobroslavić, izaslanik predsjednika Vlade potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar prostornoga uređenja, graditeljstva i državne imovine Branko Bačić, izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora i saborski zastupnik Andro Krstulović Opara te zaključno predsjednik Republike Hrvatske Zoran Milanović.

Svečanoj sjednici su nazočili još i potpredsjednica Europske komisije za demokraciju i demografiju Dubravka Šuica, ministrica kulture i medija Nina Obuljen Koržinek, ministar znanosti i obrazovanja Radovan Fuchs, državni tajnik u Ministarstvu za vanjske i europske poslove Frano Matušić, državna tajnica u Ministarstvu regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije Zrinka Raguž, glavni tajnik Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture Dražen Ivanušec, dubrovački biskup mons. Roko Glasnović, rektor crkve sv. Vlaha don Ivica Pervan, ovogodišnji festanjuli kapetan Perica Baletić i obrtnik Vladimir Buć, rektor Sveučilišta Nikša Burum, vijećnice i vijećnici Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika te brojne druge osobe iz javnog, političkog i vjerskog života uključujući predstavnike veleposlanstava i gradova prijatelja.

Ovom prigodom tradicionalno su dodijeljena javna priznanja ovogodišnjim laureatima. Nagrada Grada Dubrovnika za životno djelo tako je dodijeljena dugogodišnjem predsjedniku i dekanu Rochester Institute of Technology – RIT Croatia Donaldu W. Hudspethu za jedinstven doprinos na području visokoškolskog obrazovanja te posthumno, za izniman doprinos obrani Dubrovnika, Aljoši Nikoliću, pukovniku Hrvatske vojske, dragovoljcu Domovinskog rata i zapovjedniku Odreda naoružanih brodova Dubrovnik. Nagrade Dubrovnika dodijeljene su Btjepanu Koporčiću, dr. sc. Darku Kristoviću, Dominku Radiću, Školi filma Šipan te posmrtno, profesoru Anti Skaramuci. U ime svih nagrađenih zahvalu je uputio Donald W. Hudspeth dobitnik je Nagrade Dubrovnika za životno djelo.

Nagrade laureatima uručili su predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Marko Potrebica. predsjednica Odbora za javna priznanja Olga Muratti i gradonačelnik Mato Franković.

Svečana sjednica Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika uz Dan Grada i Festu svetog Vlaha tradicionalno je održana na Kandeloru, u srijedu, 2. veljače u Kazalištu Marina Držića.

Sjednicu je otvorio predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika Marko Potrebica. Uvodno je istaknuo kako je d Gradsko vijeće u proteklih godinu dana imalo 11 sjednica koje su trajale ukupno 82 sata s 299 točaka dnevnog reda. Čak je 65 posto odluka usvojeno jednoglasno, a dvotrećinskom većinom njih 75 posto. –„Privrženost katoličkoj crkvi i Svetom Vlahu je naše nasljeđe i uvjerenje. Poštovati i ljubiti svoje, a istovremeno biti tolerantan i surađivati s drugima i različitima jedan je od postulata naše slavne prošlosti. Živimo u vremenu relativiziranja i negiranja vrijednosti koje su kroz stoljeća utkane u mire našeg grada i genetski kod našeg čovjeka. Kršćanstvo i demokršćanske vrijednosti generacijama i stoljećima bile su vrijednosti našeg napretka. Nisu i ne mogu postati arhaizmi, oni su dio našeg identiteta našeg naroda“, rekao je predsjednik Vijeća Potrebica.

Nakon prikazivanja filma „Od Feste do Feste“ s pregledom gradskih projekata realiziranih u vremenu od prethodne Feste i Dana Grada, gradonačelnik Mato Franković održao je tradicionalni govor kojim se osvrnuo na proteklo jednogodišnje razdoblje.

Prigodne govore održali su i župan Nikola Dobroslavić, izaslanik predsjednika Vlade potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar prostornoga uređenja, graditeljstva i državne imovine Branko Bačić, izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora i saborski zastupnik Andro Krstulović Opara te zaključno predsjednik Republike Hrvatske Zoran Milanović.

Svečanoj sjednici su nazočili još i potpredsjednica Europske komisije za demokraciju i demografiju Dubravka Šuica, ministrica kulture i medija Nina Obuljen Koržinek, ministar znanosti i obrazovanja Radovan Fuchs, državni tajnik u Ministarstvu za vanjske i europske poslove Frano Matušić, državna tajnica u Ministarstvu regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije Zrinka Raguž, glavni tajnik Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture Dražen Ivanušec, dubrovački biskup mons. Roko Glasnović, rektor crkve sv. Vlaha don Ivica Pervan, ovogodišnji festanjuli kapetan Perica Baletić i obrtnik Vladimir Buć, rektor Sveučilišta Nikša Burum, vijećnice i vijećnici Gradskog vijeća Grada Dubrovnika te brojne druge osobe iz javnog, političkog i vjerskog života uključujući predstavnike veleposlanstava i gradova prijatelja.

Ovom prigodom tradicionalno su dodijeljena javna priznanja ovogodišnjim laureatima. Nagrada Grada Dubrovnika za životno djelo tako je dodijeljena dugogodišnjem predsjedniku i dekanu Rochester Institute of Technology – RIT Croatia Donaldu W. Hudspethu za jedinstven doprinos na području visokoškolskog obrazovanja te posthumno, za izniman doprinos obrani Dubrovnika, Aljoši Nikoliću, pukovniku Hrvatske vojske, dragovoljcu Domovinskog rata i zapovjedniku Odreda naoružanih brodova Dubrovnik. Nagrade Dubrovnika dodijeljene su Btjepanu Koporčiću, dr. sc. Darku Kristoviću, Dominku Radiću, Školi filma Šipan te posmrtno, profesoru Anti Skaramuci. U ime svih nagrađenih zahvalu je uputio Donald W. Hudspeth dobitnik je Nagrade Dubrovnika za životno djelo.

Nagrade laureatima uručili su predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Marko Potrebica. predsjednica Odbora za javna priznanja Olga Muratti i gradonačelnik Mato Franković.
