U tijeku je kriminalističko istraživanje Vaterpolskog kluba Jug AO. Potvrdio nam je to gradski vijećnik Maro Kristić, koji je prvi upozorio da postoje tri udruge pod imenom VK Jug, pa je i sam pozvan u policiju na davanje iskaza.
- Dok sam se pripremao za sjednicu Gradsku vijeća na temu raspodjele sredstava za potrebe u športu, sasvim sam slučajno u Registru udruga nabasao na podatak o tome da trenutno egzistiraju tri vaterpolo kluba Jug, odnosno tri udruge koje su vezane uz Vaterpolo klub Jug. Nose različita imena, ali sve tri imaju istog direktora i tri različita predsjednika i uredno produžene mandate, pa sam kao gradski vijećnik s govornice Gradskog vijeća izrazio čuđenje zašto je to tako jer i ja i cijela javnost cijelo vrijeme mislimo da postoji samo jedan VK Jug - komentirao je za Dubrovački vjesnik Maro Kristić.
- Pitao sam, s obzirom da Jug slavi veliku i važnu obljetnicu sljedeće godine, koji od ova tri slavi tu obljetnicu i kome zapravo Grad dodjeljuje javna sredstva. Otprilike Grad i Županija ukupno dodijeljuju oko 3 milijuna kuna, s tim da je godišnji budžet Vaterpolo kluba Jug oko 12 milijuna kuna, što je praktički iznos gotovo jednak iznosu za sve ostale športske klubove u Dubrovniku. VK Jug je velika institucija s velikom radnom zajednicom i najtrofejniji klub u državi, ali bi trebao biti i najtransparentniji u svom radu. Pretpostavljam da me zato policija i pozvala da dam iskaz - rekao je Kristić. - Na temelju svojih spoznaja pokrenuli su određene istrage, što naravno nije ugodno niti je to javnost očekivala kad je Jug u pitanju. Ali to je tako trebalo biti. Moja uloga kao gradskog vijećnika nije da samo hvalim, nego i postavljam pitanja na koje građani očekuju odgovor - dodao je vijećnik Kristić, te istaknuo da njegov motiv nije bio da se pokrene bilo kakva istraga protiv Juga.
- Moj motiv je bio dobiti odgovore na pitanja jer je i meni i svim građanima u interesu da Jug bude što bolji i kvalitetniji, a da se novci troše transparentno. Upućujem i kritiku Dubrovačkom savezu športova koji bi trebao, kada je u pitanju potrošnja javnih sredstava, imati platformu sličnu onoj koju ima Grad Dubrovnik, da se u svakom trenutku točno zna na koji su se način novci potrošili. Mi znamo koliko paušalno ide Jugu, ali ne znamo komu idu ti novci, za djecu, omladinski klub ili se troše za plaćanje plaća trenera, momčadi... Policija je potvrdila da rade svoj dio posla i nadam se da će sve završiti u najboljem redu - zaključo je gradski vijećnik Mosta Maro Kristić.
Udruga Vaterpolski klub Jug upisana je u Registar udruga 16. prosinca 1998., a osnovana 1982. godine. Predsjednik ove udruge je Ivan Pavličević. Udruga Vaterpolski klub Jug Adriatic osiguranje upisana je u Registar 2. srpnja 2007., a predsjednik ove Udruge je Tomislav Dumančić. Udruga Športsko društvo Jug upisana je 13. prosinca 2002., a predsjednik joj je sudac Srđan Gavranić. Direktor sve tri udruge je Ognjen Kržić.

- U tijeku su izvidi koje Policijska uprava dubrovačko-neretvanska provodi u svezi poslovanja Vaterpolskog kluba Jug, Vaterpolskog kluba Jug Adriatic osiguranje i Športskog društva Jug. Budući su izvidi kaznenih djela sukladno Zakonu o kaznenom postupku tajni, u ovom trenutku nismo u mogućnosti pružiti više informacija o sadržaju radnji koje se provode - istaknuli su iz policije.

U tijeku je kriminalističko istraživanje Vaterpolskog kluba Jug AO. Potvrdio nam je to gradski vijećnik Maro Kristić, koji je prvi upozorio da postoje tri udruge pod imenom VK Jug, pa je i sam pozvan u policiju na davanje iskaza.
- Dok sam se pripremao za sjednicu Gradsku vijeća na temu raspodjele sredstava za potrebe u športu, sasvim sam slučajno u Registru udruga nabasao na podatak o tome da trenutno egzistiraju tri vaterpolo kluba Jug, odnosno tri udruge koje su vezane uz Vaterpolo klub Jug. Nose različita imena, ali sve tri imaju istog direktora i tri različita predsjednika i uredno produžene mandate, pa sam kao gradski vijećnik s govornice Gradskog vijeća izrazio čuđenje zašto je to tako jer i ja i cijela javnost cijelo vrijeme mislimo da postoji samo jedan VK Jug - komentirao je za Dubrovački vjesnik Maro Kristić.
- Pitao sam, s obzirom da Jug slavi veliku i važnu obljetnicu sljedeće godine, koji od ova tri slavi tu obljetnicu i kome zapravo Grad dodjeljuje javna sredstva. Otprilike Grad i Županija ukupno dodijeljuju oko 3 milijuna kuna, s tim da je godišnji budžet Vaterpolo kluba Jug oko 12 milijuna kuna, što je praktički iznos gotovo jednak iznosu za sve ostale športske klubove u Dubrovniku. VK Jug je velika institucija s velikom radnom zajednicom i najtrofejniji klub u državi, ali bi trebao biti i najtransparentniji u svom radu. Pretpostavljam da me zato policija i pozvala da dam iskaz - rekao je Kristić. - Na temelju svojih spoznaja pokrenuli su određene istrage, što naravno nije ugodno niti je to javnost očekivala kad je Jug u pitanju. Ali to je tako trebalo biti. Moja uloga kao gradskog vijećnika nije da samo hvalim, nego i postavljam pitanja na koje građani očekuju odgovor - dodao je vijećnik Kristić, te istaknuo da njegov motiv nije bio da se pokrene bilo kakva istraga protiv Juga.
- Moj motiv je bio dobiti odgovore na pitanja jer je i meni i svim građanima u interesu da Jug bude što bolji i kvalitetniji, a da se novci troše transparentno. Upućujem i kritiku Dubrovačkom savezu športova koji bi trebao, kada je u pitanju potrošnja javnih sredstava, imati platformu sličnu onoj koju ima Grad Dubrovnik, da se u svakom trenutku točno zna na koji su se način novci potrošili. Mi znamo koliko paušalno ide Jugu, ali ne znamo komu idu ti novci, za djecu, omladinski klub ili se troše za plaćanje plaća trenera, momčadi... Policija je potvrdila da rade svoj dio posla i nadam se da će sve završiti u najboljem redu - zaključo je gradski vijećnik Mosta Maro Kristić.
Udruga Vaterpolski klub Jug upisana je u Registar udruga 16. prosinca 1998., a osnovana 1982. godine. Predsjednik ove udruge je Ivan Pavličević. Udruga Vaterpolski klub Jug Adriatic osiguranje upisana je u Registar 2. srpnja 2007., a predsjednik ove Udruge je Tomislav Dumančić. Udruga Športsko društvo Jug upisana je 13. prosinca 2002., a predsjednik joj je sudac Srđan Gavranić. Direktor sve tri udruge je Ognjen Kržić.
Iz PU dubrovačko-neretvanske također smo dobili odgovor na ovu temu:
- U tijeku su izvidi koje Policijska uprava dubrovačko-neretvanska provodi u svezi poslovanja Vaterpolskog kluba Jug, Vaterpolskog kluba Jug Adriatic osiguranje i Športskog društva Jug. Budući su izvidi kaznenih djela sukladno Zakonu o kaznenom postupku tajni, u ovom trenutku nismo u mogućnosti pružiti više informacija o sadržaju radnji koje se provode - istaknuli su iz policije.
