“Malo smo zahrđali nakon dvije godine neaktivnosti, ali je lijepo većinu dana ponovo govoriti engleski,” komentirao je konobar iz popularnog dubrovačkog restorana. Moram priznati da sam malo iznenađen. Vjerojatno se radi o tome što smo lani mogli parkirat gdje smo htjeli, sjesti u prvi red u kafiću, razmotati šugaman na plaži gdjegod smo poželjeli. Međutim, G(g)rad je popunjen, zaista popunjen, iznenađujuće pun. Turisti naviru sa svih strana, epidemiološke mjere za Covid gotovo su ukinute, maske smo bacilli u smeće, jedino što nam ludi Rus kvari zabavu.

“Oprostite, morat ćete malo pričekati na stol,” obavijestio me isti konobar. Tjedan pred Uskrs, a svi stolovi zauzeti, puni razgolićenih i opuštenih turista. “Ne smeta mi, pričekat ću, nema problema,” odgovorio sam. I zaista mi nije smetalo. Bilo je izvanredno promatrati kako je Grad ponovo oživio. Dubrovnik bez stranih gostiju jednostavno nije isti. Znam, svi mi volimo kad je u zimsko doba samo naš, ali ljeto je vrijeme kad ga trebamo dijeliti. Iako je turizam iznimno osjetljiva industrija, ona je također otporna i fleksibilna.

Turista je sve više u Gradu

Pogled na kruzere u gruškoj luci podsjetnik su na tamno poglavlje turizma kad smo se utapali pod količinom turista. Iako je pandemija očigledno na zalazu, nisam baš siguran da bih pošao na kruzing. Bi li vi? Očigledno ljudi ipak. Tri ogromna broda u jednom danu dokaz su kako ima poklonika takve vrste putovanja. Hoteli su otvoreni, mnogi od njih kažu kako su do kraja travnja popunili 70 posto kapaciteta. Ako se ovako nastavi kako će nam izgledati srpanj i kolovoz?

Došlo je ono vrijeme u godini kad se na Stradunu “sudaraju” domaći u zimskoj robi i stranci u ljetnoj. Čim zapuše bura naša čeljad uskače u kapute i čizme, dok stranci “stružu” po kamenu u japankama sa sladoledom u ruci. Pa, kakve su nam stvarne prognoze za sezonu? Svi pokazatelji upućuju da bi ona trebala biti 20 posto bolja u odnosu na lanjsku godinu. Što se mene tiče, super!

Ne vidim razlog zašto bismo rezultate uspoređivali s rekordnom 2019. Također, ne vidim razlog zašto bi trebalo ponoviti te brojke. Trebali bismo ostati u ravnoteži, unutar stvarnih mogućnostima. Godina 2019. debelo je “prešišala” ravnotežu. Ako je nešto veće, ne znači da je i bolje.

Znam da većina gradskih prihoda dolazi od turizma, ali na drugu stranu, ne smijemo gristi ruku koja nas hrani. Uskrsni vikend tradicionalno označava početak turističke sezone. Samo za prošli vikend najavili su slijetanje 58 aviona sa svih strana Europe. Ako je svaki avion relativno popunjen to znači da da će nam u dva dana stići 8500 putnika i to samo avionom. “Godinama nisam imala goste za Uskrs, čak i u predpandemijsko vrijeme.

Nakon neželjene i duge pauze izgleda da posao ponovno počinje i Bogu hvala na tome,” s osmijehom mi je rekla vlasnica apartmana u Lapadu pokazujući mi na mobitelu svoje rezervacije. Dugo vremena nisam vidio toliko pozitive svuda okolo.

Uskrsno jutro na Stradunu

Što se mene tiče, ja sam pošao u kontrasmjeru, prema sjeveru, u glavni grad. Razlog nije izbjegavanje gužve već obiteljsko okupljanje u Zagrebu za Uskrs. Nadam se da ću u lipnju na ovakav put ići preko mosta, uštediti par minuta na vožnji, ali i puno strpljenja zbog prelaska granice. I ne samo ja, već i mnogi turisti. Je li most preskup, nebitno, irelevantno je i nek ostane temom političkih prepucavanja i političkih kampanja. Idemo ga sad iskoristiti.

Prema direktoru Turističke zajednice Hrvatske, Hrvatska slovi za auto destinaciju. Srećom, rekao je Hrvatska, a ne Dubrovnik, jer mi to nismo. Ali možda, i to s velikim M, novi most bude poticaj da kamperi krenu prema jugu. A to bi možda moglo, produljiti sezonu, da “pritisak” ne budu samo na srpnju i kolovozu. E, znam, optimističan sam, al’ nada umire posljednja.

Nadam se da ste se odmorili za uskrsne blagdane nego što krene ludilo, a dok budete čekali u prometnoj gužvi, samo se sjetite ljeta 2020-e!

“Malo smo zahrđali nakon dvije godine neaktivnosti, ali je lijepo većinu dana ponovo govoriti engleski,” komentirao je konobar iz popularnog dubrovačkog restorana. Moram priznati da sam malo iznenađen. Vjerojatno se radi o tome što smo lani mogli parkirat gdje smo htjeli, sjesti u prvi red u kafiću, razmotati šugaman na plaži gdjegod smo poželjeli. Međutim, G(g)rad je popunjen, zaista popunjen, iznenađujuće pun. Turisti naviru sa svih strana, epidemiološke mjere za Covid gotovo su ukinute, maske smo bacilli u smeće, jedino što nam ludi Rus kvari zabavu.

“Oprostite, morat ćete malo pričekati na stol,” obavijestio me isti konobar. Tjedan pred Uskrs, a svi stolovi zauzeti, puni razgolićenih i opuštenih turista. “Ne smeta mi, pričekat ću, nema problema,” odgovorio sam. I zaista mi nije smetalo. Bilo je izvanredno promatrati kako je Grad ponovo oživio. Dubrovnik bez stranih gostiju jednostavno nije isti. Znam, svi mi volimo kad je u zimsko doba samo naš, ali ljeto je vrijeme kad ga trebamo dijeliti. Iako je turizam iznimno osjetljiva industrija, ona je također otporna i fleksibilna.

Pogled na kruzere u gruškoj luci podsjetnik su na tamno poglavlje turizma kad smo se utapali pod količinom turista. Iako je pandemija očigledno na zalazu, nisam baš siguran da bih pošao na kruzing. Bi li vi? Očigledno ljudi ipak. Tri ogromna broda u jednom danu dokaz su kako ima poklonika takve vrste putovanja. Hoteli su otvoreni, mnogi od njih kažu kako su do kraja travnja popunili 70 posto kapaciteta. Ako se ovako nastavi kako će nam izgledati srpanj i kolovoz?

Došlo je ono vrijeme u godini kad se na Stradunu “sudaraju” domaći u zimskoj robi i stranci u ljetnoj. Čim zapuše bura naša čeljad uskače u kapute i čizme, dok stranci “stružu” po kamenu u japankama sa sladoledom u ruci. Pa, kakve su nam stvarne prognoze za sezonu? Svi pokazatelji upućuju da bi ona trebala biti 20 posto bolja u odnosu na lanjsku godinu. Što se mene tiče, super!

Ne vidim razlog zašto bismo rezultate uspoređivali s rekordnom 2019. Također, ne vidim razlog zašto bi trebalo ponoviti te brojke. Trebali bismo ostati u ravnoteži, unutar stvarnih mogućnostima. Godina 2019. debelo je “prešišala” ravnotežu. Ako je nešto veće, ne znači da je i bolje.

Znam da većina gradskih prihoda dolazi od turizma, ali na drugu stranu, ne smijemo gristi ruku koja nas hrani. Uskrsni vikend tradicionalno označava početak turističke sezone. Samo za prošli vikend najavili su slijetanje 58 aviona sa svih strana Europe. Ako je svaki avion relativno popunjen to znači da da će nam u dva dana stići 8500 putnika i to samo avionom. “Godinama nisam imala goste za Uskrs, čak i u predpandemijsko vrijeme.

Nakon neželjene i duge pauze izgleda da posao ponovno počinje i Bogu hvala na tome,” s osmijehom mi je rekla vlasnica apartmana u Lapadu pokazujući mi na mobitelu svoje rezervacije. Dugo vremena nisam vidio toliko pozitive svuda okolo.

Što se mene tiče, ja sam pošao u kontrasmjeru, prema sjeveru, u glavni grad. Razlog nije izbjegavanje gužve već obiteljsko okupljanje u Zagrebu za Uskrs. Nadam se da ću u lipnju na ovakav put ići preko mosta, uštediti par minuta na vožnji, ali i puno strpljenja zbog prelaska granice. I ne samo ja, već i mnogi turisti. Je li most preskup, nebitno, irelevantno je i nek ostane temom političkih prepucavanja i političkih kampanja. Idemo ga sad iskoristiti.

Prema direktoru Turističke zajednice Hrvatske, Hrvatska slovi za auto destinaciju. Srećom, rekao je Hrvatska, a ne Dubrovnik, jer mi to nismo. Ali možda, i to s velikim M, novi most bude poticaj da kamperi krenu prema jugu. A to bi možda moglo, produljiti sezonu, da “pritisak” ne budu samo na srpnju i kolovozu. E, znam, optimističan sam, al’ nada umire posljednja.

Nadam se da ste se odmorili za uskrsne blagdane nego što krene ludilo, a dok budete čekali u prometnoj gužvi, samo se sjetite ljeta 2020-e!
