Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski rekao je da je svijet za dlaku izbjegao radijacijsku katastrofu jer je dovod struje ukrajinskoj nuklearnoj elektrani Zaporižja bio satima prekinut zbog ruskog granatiranja u tom području, što je Moskva opovrgla.

Zelenskij je rekao da je rusko granatiranje u četvrtak izazvalo požare u jamama za pepeo obližnje elektrane na ugljen što je isključilo dovod struje u reaktorski kompleks, najveće takvo postrojenje u Europi.

Pomoćni dizelski generatori osigurali su opskrbu strujom koja je ključna za rashladne i sigurnosne sustave u postrojenju, rekao je, pohvalivši ukrajinske tehničare koji upravljaju postrojenjem pod nadzorom ruske vojske.

"Da osoblje naše nuklearke nije reagiralo nakon nestanka struje, već bismo bili prisiljeni prevladati posljedice radijacijske nesreće", rekao je u večernjem obraćanju.

"Rusija je dovela Ukrajinu i sve Europljane u situaciju na korak od radijacijske katastrofe."

Vladimir Rogov, dužnosnik kojeg je imenovala Rusija u okupiranom gradu Enerhodaru u blizini elektrane, okrivio je ukrajinske oružane snage za požar u šumi u blizini elektrane.

Rekao je da su gradovi u tom području ostali bez struje na nekoliko sati u četvrtak.

"To je uzrokovano prekidom veze dalekovoda i nuklearne elektrane Zaporižja kao rezultat provokacija boraca Zelenskog",

napisao je Rogov na Telegramu.

"Do samog isključenja došlo je zbog požara i kratkog spoja na dalekovodima."

Ukrajinska državna nuklearna kompanija Energoatom rekla je da je to bilo prvo potpuno isključenje struje u elektrani, koja je postala žarište u šestomjesečnom ratu.

Rusija je napala Ukrajinu u veljači, zauzela elektranu u ožujku i od tada je kontrolira, iako ukrajinski tehničari još uvijek njome upravljaju.

Ujedinjeni narodi traže pristup postrojenju i pozvali su na demilitarizaciju područja.

Dužnosnici Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA) "vrlo su, vrlo blizu" posjeta Zaporižju, rekao je u četvrtak glavni direktor agencije Rafael Grossi.

Rusija i Ukrajina međusobno su se optuživale za granatiranje te lokacije, što je potaknulo strahove od nuklearne katastrofe.

Nuklearni stručnjaci upozorili su na opasnost od oštećenja bazena za istrošeno nuklearno gorivo ili reaktora elektrane.

Prekid dovoda struje potrebne za hlađenje bazena mogao bi uzrokovati katastrofalno topljenje.

Paul Bracken, stručnjak za nacionalnu sigurnost i profesor na Yale School of Management, rekao je da je zabrinutost da bi topničke granate ili projektili mogli probušiti stijenke reaktora i proširiti radijaciju nao potencijalno veliko područje, slično kao nesreća koja je uključivala reaktor u Černobilu 1986. godine.

Kvar u nuklearki Zaporižja mogao bi "ubiti stotine ili tisuće ljudi i ekološki ugroziti daleko veće područje koje seže do Europe", rekao je Bracken.

"Ruski rulet je dobra metafora jer Rusi vrte komoru revolvera, prijeteći da će raznijeti mozak reaktora diljem Europe", rekao je Bracken.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski rekao je da je svijet za dlaku izbjegao radijacijsku katastrofu jer je dovod struje ukrajinskoj nuklearnoj elektrani Zaporižja bio satima prekinut zbog ruskog granatiranja u tom području, što je Moskva opovrgla.

Zelenskij je rekao da je rusko granatiranje u četvrtak izazvalo požare u jamama za pepeo obližnje elektrane na ugljen što je isključilo dovod struje u reaktorski kompleks, najveće takvo postrojenje u Europi.

Pomoćni dizelski generatori osigurali su opskrbu strujom koja je ključna za rashladne i sigurnosne sustave u postrojenju, rekao je, pohvalivši ukrajinske tehničare koji upravljaju postrojenjem pod nadzorom ruske vojske.

"Da osoblje naše nuklearke nije reagiralo nakon nestanka struje, već bismo bili prisiljeni prevladati posljedice radijacijske nesreće", rekao je u večernjem obraćanju.

Vladimir Rogov, dužnosnik kojeg je imenovala Rusija u okupiranom gradu Enerhodaru u blizini elektrane, okrivio je ukrajinske oružane snage za požar u šumi u blizini elektrane.

Rekao je da su gradovi u tom području ostali bez struje na nekoliko sati u četvrtak.

"To je uzrokovano prekidom veze dalekovoda i nuklearne elektrane Zaporižja kao rezultat provokacija boraca Zelenskog",

napisao je Rogov na Telegramu.

Ukrajinska državna nuklearna kompanija Energoatom rekla je da je to bilo prvo potpuno isključenje struje u elektrani, koja je postala žarište u šestomjesečnom ratu.

Rusija je napala Ukrajinu u veljači, zauzela elektranu u ožujku i od tada je kontrolira, iako ukrajinski tehničari još uvijek njome upravljaju.

Ujedinjeni narodi traže pristup postrojenju i pozvali su na demilitarizaciju područja.

Dužnosnici Međunarodne agencije za atomsku energiju (IAEA) "vrlo su, vrlo blizu" posjeta Zaporižju, rekao je u četvrtak glavni direktor agencije Rafael Grossi.

Rusija i Ukrajina međusobno su se optuživale za granatiranje te lokacije, što je potaknulo strahove od nuklearne katastrofe.

Nuklearni stručnjaci upozorili su na opasnost od oštećenja bazena za istrošeno nuklearno gorivo ili reaktora elektrane.

Prekid dovoda struje potrebne za hlađenje bazena mogao bi uzrokovati katastrofalno topljenje.

Paul Bracken, stručnjak za nacionalnu sigurnost i profesor na Yale School of Management, rekao je da je zabrinutost da bi topničke granate ili projektili mogli probušiti stijenke reaktora i proširiti radijaciju nao potencijalno veliko područje, slično kao nesreća koja je uključivala reaktor u Černobilu 1986. godine.

Kvar u nuklearki Zaporižja mogao bi "ubiti stotine ili tisuće ljudi i ekološki ugroziti daleko veće područje koje seže do Europe", rekao je Bracken.

"Ruski rulet je dobra metafora jer Rusi vrte komoru revolvera, prijeteći da će raznijeti mozak reaktora diljem Europe", rekao je Bracken.

Ukrajinski predsjednik Volodimir Zelenski rekao je da je svijet za dlaku izbjegao radijacijsku katastrofu jer je dovod struje ukrajinskoj nuklearnoj elektrani Zaporižja bio satima prekinut zbog ruskog granatiranja u tom području, što je Moskva opovrgla.

Zelenskij je rekao da je rusko granatiranje u četvrtak izazvalo požare u jamama za pepeo obližnje elektrane na ugljen što je isključilo dovod struje u reaktorski kompleks, najveće takvo postrojenje u Europi.

Pomoćni dizelski generatori osigurali su opskrbu strujom koja je ključna za rashladne i sigurnosne sustave u postrojenju, rekao je, pohvalivši ukrajinske tehničare koji upravljaju postrojenjem pod nadzorom ruske vojske.

"Da osoblje naše nuklearke nije reagiralo nakon nestanka struje, već bismo bili prisiljeni prevladati posljedice radijacijske nesreće", rekao je u večernjem obraćanju.

Vladimir Rogov, dužnosnik kojeg je imenovala Rusija u okupiranom gradu Enerhodaru u blizini elektrane, okrivio je ukrajinske oružane snage za požar u šumi u blizini elektrane.
