Državni zavod za statistiku reagirao je na medijske objave o rezultatima popisa stanovništva 2021. godine. Iako ne navode na koje to točno tekstove reagiraju, podsjetimo na kako je načelnik Pojezerja Borislav Dominiković u petak za Dubrovački vjesnik komentirao podatak kako se većina stanovnika te male općine izjasnilo kao "ostali kršćani". Uvjeren je kako je došlo do greške prilikom popisivanja.

Prije deset godina, ta neretvanska općina brojala je 991 stanovnika, a 99,29 posto je bilo deklariranih katolika. Posljednji popis kaže kako Pojezerje broji ima 963 stanovnika, od toga 32,03 posto katolika te 67,44 posto "ostalih kršćana".

"Zavod je neovisna i stručna institucija koja svoje aktivnosti obavlja u skladu sa Zakonom o službenoj statistici te europskim i međunarodnim statističkim standardima. U skladu s time, Zavod je obavljao sve popisne aktivnosti na stručan i profesionalan način te je 22. rujna 2022. objavio službene rezultate Popisa stanovništva, kućanstava i stanova u Republici Hrvatskoj 2021. godine o ukupnom stanovništvu prema spolu i starosti te etno-kulturalnim obilježjima stanovništva, što je jasno komunicirano s javnošću. S obzirom na informacije o vjerodostojnosti podataka Popisa 2021. koje su se pojavile u medijima, čime se narušava kredibilitet i ugled Zavoda u javnosti, smatramo potrebnim reagirati radi cjelovitoga i točnog informiranja javnosti", reagirali su iz Zavoda.

Kad je u pitanju vjerska pripadnost, ističu kako se sukladno zakonu, osobe mogu slobodno izjasniti o vjerskoj pripadnosti. "Pitanje o vjeri bilo je potpuno otvoreno pitanje na koje se osoba mogla slobodno izjasniti u skladu s odredbama Ustava Republike Hrvatske. U fazi samostalnog popisivanja osobe su slobodno upisivale odgovor na pitanje o vjerskoj pripadnosti. U fazi terenskog popisivanja popisivač ni u kojem slučaju nije smio sugerirati odgovor na ovo pitanje niti komentirati odgovor, nego upisati točno onako kako je osoba odgovorila na pitanje. Podaci o broju katolika koje je objavio Zavod odnose se na osobe koje su se slobodno izjasnile kao katolici. Podaci o broju ostalih kršćana, između ostalih odgovora, uključuju i osobe koje su na pitanje o vjeri dale odgovor "kršćanin/kršćanka". Budući da se na ovo pitanje osoba mogla slobodno izjasniti, odgovori su se bilježili upravo onako kako se osoba slobodno izjasnila. Podaci o vjeri se ne validiraju s drugim podacima ili s podacima iz administrativnih izvora jer bi se na taj način utjecalo na odgovor osobe koja se slobodno izjasnila", navode iz Zavoda.

Državni zavod za statistiku reagirao je na medijske objave o rezultatima popisa stanovništva 2021. godine. Iako ne navode na koje to točno tekstove reagiraju, podsjetimo na kako je načelnik Pojezerja Borislav Dominiković u petak za Dubrovački vjesnik komentirao podatak kako se većina stanovnika te male općine izjasnilo kao "ostali kršćani". Uvjeren je kako je došlo do greške prilikom popisivanja.

Prije deset godina, ta neretvanska općina brojala je 991 stanovnika, a 99,29 posto je bilo deklariranih katolika. Posljednji popis kaže kako Pojezerje broji ima 963 stanovnika, od toga 32,03 posto katolika te 67,44 posto "ostalih kršćana".

"Zavod je neovisna i stručna institucija koja svoje aktivnosti obavlja u skladu sa Zakonom o službenoj statistici te europskim i međunarodnim statističkim standardima. U skladu s time, Zavod je obavljao sve popisne aktivnosti na stručan i profesionalan način te je 22. rujna 2022. objavio službene rezultate Popisa stanovništva, kućanstava i stanova u Republici Hrvatskoj 2021. godine o ukupnom stanovništvu prema spolu i starosti te etno-kulturalnim obilježjima stanovništva, što je jasno komunicirano s javnošću. S obzirom na informacije o vjerodostojnosti podataka Popisa 2021. koje su se pojavile u medijima, čime se narušava kredibilitet i ugled Zavoda u javnosti, smatramo potrebnim reagirati radi cjelovitoga i točnog informiranja javnosti", reagirali su iz Zavoda.

Kad je u pitanju vjerska pripadnost, ističu kako se sukladno zakonu, osobe mogu slobodno izjasniti o vjerskoj pripadnosti. "Pitanje o vjeri bilo je potpuno otvoreno pitanje na koje se osoba mogla slobodno izjasniti u skladu s odredbama Ustava Republike Hrvatske. U fazi samostalnog popisivanja osobe su slobodno upisivale odgovor na pitanje o vjerskoj pripadnosti. U fazi terenskog popisivanja popisivač ni u kojem slučaju nije smio sugerirati odgovor na ovo pitanje niti komentirati odgovor, nego upisati točno onako kako je osoba odgovorila na pitanje. Podaci o broju katolika koje je objavio Zavod odnose se na osobe koje su se slobodno izjasnile kao katolici. Podaci o broju ostalih kršćana, između ostalih odgovora, uključuju i osobe koje su na pitanje o vjeri dale odgovor "kršćanin/kršćanka". Budući da se na ovo pitanje osoba mogla slobodno izjasniti, odgovori su se bilježili upravo onako kako se osoba slobodno izjasnila. Podaci o vjeri se ne validiraju s drugim podacima ili s podacima iz administrativnih izvora jer bi se na taj način utjecalo na odgovor osobe koja se slobodno izjasnila", navode iz Zavoda.

Državni zavod za statistiku reagirao je na medijske objave o rezultatima popisa stanovništva 2021. godine. Iako ne navode na koje to točno tekstove reagiraju, podsjetimo na kako je načelnik Pojezerja Borislav Dominiković u petak za Dubrovački vjesnik komentirao podatak kako se većina stanovnika te male općine izjasnilo kao "ostali kršćani". Uvjeren je kako je došlo do greške prilikom popisivanja.

Prije deset godina, ta neretvanska općina brojala je 991 stanovnika, a 99,29 posto je bilo deklariranih katolika. Posljednji popis kaže kako Pojezerje broji ima 963 stanovnika, od toga 32,03 posto katolika te 67,44 posto "ostalih kršćana".

"Zavod je neovisna i stručna institucija koja svoje aktivnosti obavlja u skladu sa Zakonom o službenoj statistici te europskim i međunarodnim statističkim standardima. U skladu s time, Zavod je obavljao sve popisne aktivnosti na stručan i profesionalan način te je 22. rujna 2022. objavio službene rezultate Popisa stanovništva, kućanstava i stanova u Republici Hrvatskoj 2021. godine o ukupnom stanovništvu prema spolu i starosti te etno-kulturalnim obilježjima stanovništva, što je jasno komunicirano s javnošću. S obzirom na informacije o vjerodostojnosti podataka Popisa 2021. koje su se pojavile u medijima, čime se narušava kredibilitet i ugled Zavoda u javnosti, smatramo potrebnim reagirati radi cjelovitoga i točnog informiranja javnosti", reagirali su iz Zavoda.

Kad je u pitanju vjerska pripadnost, ističu kako se sukladno zakonu, osobe mogu slobodno izjasniti o vjerskoj pripadnosti. "Pitanje o vjeri bilo je potpuno otvoreno pitanje na koje se osoba mogla slobodno izjasniti u skladu s odredbama Ustava Republike Hrvatske. U fazi samostalnog popisivanja osobe su slobodno upisivale odgovor na pitanje o vjerskoj pripadnosti.
