Njemačka je u utorak objavila da će isporučiti tenkove Gepard Ukrajini. Riječ je o 50 tenkova iz vojnih skladišta, piše Spiegel. Zbog snažnog domaćeg i inozemnog pritiska vlada kancelara Olafa Scholza tu je odluku donijela u ponedjeljak na sjednici iza zatvorenih vrata, uoči konferencije održane u utorak u Ramsteinu gdje su Amerikanci okupili više od 30 zemalja saveznica, piše Jutarnji list. 

To je zaokret za Olafa Scholza jer je kancelar još prošli tjedan odbijao slati teško naoružanje u Ukrajinu, poručujući kako je logičnije da istočne članice NATO-a šalju tenkove sovjetske proizvodnje, kojima Ukrajinci znaju upravljati i održavati ih. Dosad su Nijemci s više zemalja imali dogovor da im pošalju njemačke tenkove ili drugo oružje, a oni Ukrajini šalju rusko.

Upitna upotrebljivost

Zeleni se tjednima zalažu za isporuku teškog naoružanja Ukrajini, a najmanja članica tročlane koalicije, FDP, ovaj se vikend na stranačkoj konvenciji također izjasnila za to, uz formulaciju koja ostavlja otvorenim hoće li se oružje slati direktno ili, kao dosad, u kombinaciji s nekom istočnom saveznicom.

Veliki udar na Scholza dogodio se sredinom prošlog tjedna kad je najveća oporbena Kršćansko-demokratska unija (CDU) objavila da će ovaj tjedan podnijeti prijedlog Bundestagu sa zahtjevom da Njemačka osigura tenkove za Ukrajinu, što bi mogli podržati Zeleni i FDP. Ako bi većina zastupnika po tako važnom pitanju okrenula leđa kancelaru, to bi se moglo protumačiti kao izglasavanje nepovjerenja, tumači Spiegel.

Pitanje je koliko će njemački tenkovi iz 70-ih na ratištu biti upotrebljivi. Gepard, tenk s dva protuzračna topa kalibra 35 milimetara, koji se može nadograditi raketama Stinger, postupno je izbačen iz njemačke vojske prije više od deset godina, piše Politico.

Mnogi od tih tenkova uskladišteni su u njemačkoj vojnoj tvrtki Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, koja je najavila da ih je spremna urediti i prodati Ukrajini. No, problem je što je Švicarska, ključni dobavljač streljiva za Gepard, zabranila izvoz takvog streljiva u Ukrajinu. Također, ti tenkovi zahtijevaju komplicirano rukovanje i održavanje, upozorio je Roderich Kiesewetter (CDU).

Nude i Leoparde

Sada kad je Berlin signalizirao da "očito vjeruje ukrajinskim oružanim snagama da će vrlo brzo naučiti složene zapadne sustave", kako je rekao za Politico Kiesewetter, to znači da bi i manje komplicirani sustavi, kao što su borbeno vozilo Mader, tenk Leopard ili topnički sustavi, također mogli biti isporučeni.

Die Welt piše da je tvrtka Rheinmetall zatražila dozvolu za izvoz 88 teških borbenih tenkova Leopard 1A5 te 100 lakih tenkova Marder u Ukrajinu, dok Krauss-Maffei Wegmann želi isporučiti 100 komada Panzerhaubitze 2000.

Još prije dva tjedna u Uredu kancelara gledali su na isporuku tenkova kao ozbiljnu prijetnju sigurnosti. Njemačka bi mogla biti shvaćena kao zaraćena strana protiv Rusije, argumentirali su. Bundeswehr nema opreme, Ukrajinci ionako ne znaju rukovati zapadnim oružjem, prijeti nuklearna eskalacija.

Još krajem veljače tvrtka Krauss-Maffei Wegmann nudila je njemačkoj vladi da u kratkom roku isporuči Geparde Ukrajini. Riječ je o rashodovanim tenkovima Bundeswehra, koje bi trebalo popraviti. Zato tu ideju tada nisu ozbiljno shvatili.

Sad Njemačka raspravlja hoće li u Ukrajinu slati i tenkove Leopard 1, koji su se počeli proizvoditi još 1965. Rheinmetall nudi isporuku prva 22 komada u roku od šest do osam tjedana, a ostale postupno do kraja sljedeće godine.

Njemačka je u utorak objavila da će isporučiti tenkove Gepard Ukrajini. Riječ je o 50 tenkova iz vojnih skladišta, piše Spiegel. Zbog snažnog domaćeg i inozemnog pritiska vlada kancelara Olafa Scholza tu je odluku donijela u ponedjeljak na sjednici iza zatvorenih vrata, uoči konferencije održane u utorak u Ramsteinu gdje su Amerikanci okupili više od 30 zemalja saveznica, piše Jutarnji list. 

To je zaokret za Olafa Scholza jer je kancelar još prošli tjedan odbijao slati teško naoružanje u Ukrajinu, poručujući kako je logičnije da istočne članice NATO-a šalju tenkove sovjetske proizvodnje, kojima Ukrajinci znaju upravljati i održavati ih. Dosad su Nijemci s više zemalja imali dogovor da im pošalju njemačke tenkove ili drugo oružje, a oni Ukrajini šalju rusko.

Zeleni se tjednima zalažu za isporuku teškog naoružanja Ukrajini, a najmanja članica tročlane koalicije, FDP, ovaj se vikend na stranačkoj konvenciji također izjasnila za to, uz formulaciju koja ostavlja otvorenim hoće li se oružje slati direktno ili, kao dosad, u kombinaciji s nekom istočnom saveznicom.

Veliki udar na Scholza dogodio se sredinom prošlog tjedna kad je najveća oporbena Kršćansko-demokratska unija (CDU) objavila da će ovaj tjedan podnijeti prijedlog Bundestagu sa zahtjevom da Njemačka osigura tenkove za Ukrajinu, što bi mogli podržati Zeleni i FDP. Ako bi većina zastupnika po tako važnom pitanju okrenula leđa kancelaru, to bi se moglo protumačiti kao izglasavanje nepovjerenja, tumači Spiegel.

Pitanje je koliko će njemački tenkovi iz 70-ih na ratištu biti upotrebljivi. Gepard, tenk s dva protuzračna topa kalibra 35 milimetara, koji se može nadograditi raketama Stinger, postupno je izbačen iz njemačke vojske prije više od deset godina, piše Politico.

Mnogi od tih tenkova uskladišteni su u njemačkoj vojnoj tvrtki Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, koja je najavila da ih je spremna urediti i prodati Ukrajini. No, problem je što je Švicarska, ključni dobavljač streljiva za Gepard, zabranila izvoz takvog streljiva u Ukrajinu. Također, ti tenkovi zahtijevaju komplicirano rukovanje i održavanje, upozorio je Roderich Kiesewetter (CDU).

Nude i Leoparde

Sada kad je Berlin signalizirao da "očito vjeruje ukrajinskim oružanim snagama da će vrlo brzo naučiti složene zapadne sustave", kako je rekao za Politico Kiesewetter, to znači da bi i manje komplicirani sustavi, kao što su borbeno vozilo Mader, tenk Leopard ili topnički sustavi, također mogli biti isporučeni.

Die Welt piše da je tvrtka Rheinmetall zatražila dozvolu za izvoz 88 teških borbenih tenkova Leopard 1A5 te 100 lakih tenkova Marder u Ukrajinu, dok Krauss-Maffei Wegmann želi isporučiti 100 komada Panzerhaubitze 2000.

Još prije dva tjedna u Uredu kancelara gledali su na isporuku tenkova kao ozbiljnu prijetnju sigurnosti. Njemačka bi mogla biti shvaćena kao zaraćena strana protiv Rusije, argumentirali su. Bundeswehr nema opreme, Ukrajinci ionako ne znaju rukovati zapadnim oružjem, prijeti nuklearna eskalacija.

Još krajem veljače tvrtka Krauss-Maffei Wegmann nudila je njemačkoj vladi da u kratkom roku isporuči Geparde Ukrajini. Riječ je o rashodovanim tenkovima Bundeswehra, koje bi trebalo popraviti. Zato tu ideju tada nisu ozbiljno shvatili.

Sad Njemačka raspravlja hoće li u Ukrajinu slati i tenkove Leopard 1, koji su se počeli proizvoditi još 1965. Rheinmetall nudi isporuku prva 22 komada u roku od šest do osam tjedana, a ostale postupno do kraja sljedeće godine.

Pomaže li Njemačka uopće Ukrajini? Šalju im tenkove koje su oni rashodovali prije deset godina

Njemačka je u utorak objavila da će isporučiti tenkove Gepard Ukrajini. Riječ je o 50 tenkova iz vojnih skladišta, piše Spiegel. Zbog snažnog domaćeg i inozemnog pritiska vlada kancelara Olafa Scholza tu je odluku donijela u ponedjeljak na sjednici iza zatvorenih vrata, uoči konferencije održane u utorak u Ramsteinu gdje su Amerikanci okupili više od 30 zemalja saveznica, piše Jutarnji list. 

To je zaokret za Olafa Scholza jer je kancelar još prošli tjedan odbijao slati teško naoružanje u Ukrajinu, poručujući kako je logičnije da istočne članice NATO-a šalju tenkove sovjetske proizvodnje, kojima Ukrajinci znaju upravljati i održavati ih. Dosad su Nijemci s više zemalja imali dogovor da im pošalju njemačke tenkove ili drugo oružje, a oni Ukrajini šalju rusko.
