EMA je u petak je identificirala moguću vezu između rijetkih slučajeva zgrušavanja krvi u dubokim venama s Johnsonovim i Johnsonovim cjepivom protiv COVID-19 i preporučila da se stanje navede kao nuspojava cijepljenja, javlja Reuters.

Europska agencija za lijekove također je preporučila da se imunološka trombocitopenija (ITP), poremećaj krvarenja uzrokovan time da tijelo greškom napada trombocite, doda kao nuspojava s nepoznatom učestalošću informacijama o proizvodu cjepiva J&J i cjepivu AstraZeneca (AZN.L).
J&J je rekao kako su šanse za ovu nuspojavu vrlo male, ali da će se podaci o proizvodu ažurirati u skladu s tim što nastavlja blisko surađivati s vlastima, uključujući EMA -u.
"Snažno podržavamo podizanje svijesti o znakovima i simptomima rijetkih događaja kako bismo osigurali njihovu brzu identifikaciju i učinkovito liječenje", rekla je tvrtka.
I cjepiva J&J i AstraZeneca ranije su bila povezana s vrlo rijetkom kombinacijom zgrušavanja krvi i niskim brojem trombocita poznatom kao tromboza sa sindromom trombocitopenije (TTS).
Dva proizvoda temelje se na bezopasnim vektorskim virusima koji upućuju ljudske stanice na stvaranje proteina koji sprečava imunološki sustav od budućih koronavirusnih infekcija.
EMA je rekla da je novo, moguće po život opasno stanje zgrušavanja poznato kao venska tromboembolija (VTE) koje će biti uključeno na oznaku proizvoda J&J odvojeno od TTS-a.
VTE obično počinje stvaranjem ugruška u veni noge, ruke ili prepona, koji zatim putuje do pluća i tamo blokira dotok krvi. Bez obzira na uporabu cjepiva, VTE je najčešće uzrokovan ozljedama ili nedostatkom kretanja u pacijenata prikovanih za krevet, a rizičnima se smatraju i oni koji piju kontracepcijske pilule.

EMA je u petak je identificirala moguću vezu između rijetkih slučajeva zgrušavanja krvi u dubokim venama s Johnsonovim i Johnsonovim cjepivom protiv COVID-19 i preporučila da se stanje navede kao nuspojava cijepljenja, javlja Reuters.

Europska agencija za lijekove također je preporučila da se imunološka trombocitopenija (ITP), poremećaj krvarenja uzrokovan time da tijelo greškom napada trombocite, doda kao nuspojava s nepoznatom učestalošću informacijama o proizvodu cjepiva J&J i cjepivu AstraZeneca (AZN.L).
J&J je rekao kako su šanse za ovu nuspojavu vrlo male, ali da će se podaci o proizvodu ažurirati u skladu s tim što nastavlja blisko surađivati s vlastima, uključujući EMA -u.
"Snažno podržavamo podizanje svijesti o znakovima i simptomima rijetkih događaja kako bismo osigurali njihovu brzu identifikaciju i učinkovito liječenje", rekla je tvrtka.
I cjepiva J&J i AstraZeneca ranije su bila povezana s vrlo rijetkom kombinacijom zgrušavanja krvi i niskim brojem trombocita poznatom kao tromboza sa sindromom trombocitopenije (TTS).
Dva proizvoda temelje se na bezopasnim vektorskim virusima koji upućuju ljudske stanice na stvaranje proteina koji sprečava imunološki sustav od budućih koronavirusnih infekcija.
EMA je rekla da je novo, moguće po život opasno stanje zgrušavanja poznato kao venska tromboembolija (VTE) koje će biti uključeno na oznaku proizvoda J&J odvojeno od TTS-a.
VTE obično počinje stvaranjem ugruška u veni noge, ruke ili prepona, koji zatim putuje do pluća i tamo blokira dotok krvi.
