Navijači su rekli svoje – Mario Hezonja je najspektakularniji igrač grčkog prvenstva protekle sezone. Dubrovčaninu su tako bila dovoljna tri mjeseca da sve okrene na svoju stranu, da mu plješću ne samo navijači Panathinaikosa, čiji je dres nosio, već i ostali. 

Hezonja je na svoj 26. rođendan sletio u Atenu, 25. veljače, vratio se u Europu nakon pet sezona igranja u NBA-u, te dobio priliku igrati i pokazati koliko može. Već nakon prvih utakmica, pogotovo u Euroligi, Panathinaikos je znao kako nije pogriješio, kako je njegovo dovođenje pun pogodak. Nažalost, u najelitnijem europskom klupskom natjecanju 'zeleni' su imali veliki zaostatak, loš start, te se u zadnjih nekoliko kola nije moglo napraviti ništa u pogledu plasmana u završnicu, ali u oba domaća natjecanja Panathinaikos je u većini utakmica na krilima Dubrovčanina jurio i dojurio do oba trofeja, nove duple krune. Uzeo je Mario prvo Kup Grčke, a nakon toga i najvažniji naslov – prvaka Grčke.

Povratkom u Europu vratio se i u dres reprezentacije. Uz Bojana Bogdanovića bio naš najbolji igrač. Nažalost, njih dvojica nisu mogla sami u olimpijskim kvalifikacijama, te Hrvatska neće igrati u Tokiju, ali je Mario u pripremnim utakmicama, pogotovo protiv Slovenije u Stožicama (37 koševa) i Portorika u Splitu, zatim u kvalifikacijama za OI protiv Tunisa (27 koševa), pa i protiv Njemačke unatoč bolnom porazu, pokazao što može, a može baš puno. 

Na kraju dočekao ovih dana, dok se sprema za novu sezonu, laskavi naslov najspektakularnijeg igrača sezone u Grčkoj. Lijepo je svako priznanje, ali kad je od navijača, slađeg nema.

Navijači su rekli svoje – Mario Hezonja je najspektakularniji igrač grčkog prvenstva protekle sezone. Dubrovčaninu su tako bila dovoljna tri mjeseca da sve okrene na svoju stranu, da mu plješću ne samo navijači Panathinaikosa, čiji je dres nosio, već i ostali. 

Hezonja je na svoj 26. rođendan sletio u Atenu, 25. veljače, vratio se u Europu nakon pet sezona igranja u NBA-u, te dobio priliku igrati i pokazati koliko može. Već nakon prvih utakmica, pogotovo u Euroligi, Panathinaikos je znao kako nije pogriješio, kako je njegovo dovođenje pun pogodak. Nažalost, u najelitnijem europskom klupskom natjecanju 'zeleni' su imali veliki zaostatak, loš start, te se u zadnjih nekoliko kola nije moglo napraviti ništa u pogledu plasmana u završnicu, ali u oba domaća natjecanja Panathinaikos je u većini utakmica na krilima Dubrovčanina jurio i dojurio do oba trofeja, nove duple krune. Uzeo je Mario prvo Kup Grčke, a nakon toga i najvažniji naslov – prvaka Grčke.

Povratkom u Europu vratio se i u dres reprezentacije. Uz Bojana Bogdanovića bio naš najbolji igrač. Nažalost, njih dvojica nisu mogla sami u olimpijskim kvalifikacijama, te Hrvatska neće igrati u Tokiju, ali je Mario u pripremnim utakmicama, pogotovo protiv Slovenije u Stožicama (37 koševa) i Portorika u Splitu, zatim u kvalifikacijama za OI protiv Tunisa (27 koševa), pa i protiv Njemačke unatoč bolnom porazu, pokazao što može, a može baš puno. 

Na kraju dočekao ovih dana, dok se sprema za novu sezonu, laskavi naslov najspektakularnijeg igrača sezone u Grčkoj. Lijepo je svako priznanje, ali kad je od navijača, slađeg nema.

Navijači su rekli svoje – Mario Hezonja je najspektakularniji igrač grčkog prvenstva protekle sezone. Dubrovčaninu su tako bila dovoljna tri mjeseca da sve okrene na svoju stranu, da mu plješću ne samo navijači Panathinaikosa, čiji je dres nosio, već i ostali. 

Hezonja je na svoj 26. rođendan sletio u Atenu, 25. veljače, vratio se u Europu nakon pet sezona igranja u NBA-u, te dobio priliku igrati i pokazati koliko može. Već nakon prvih utakmica, pogotovo u Euroligi, Panathinaikos je znao kako nije pogriješio, kako je njegovo dovođenje pun pogodak. Nažalost, u najelitnijem europskom klupskom natjecanju 'zeleni' su imali veliki zaostatak, loš start, te se u zadnjih nekoliko kola nije moglo napraviti ništa u pogledu plasmana u završnicu, ali u oba domaća natjecanja Panathinaikos je u većini utakmica na krilima Dubrovčanina jurio i dojurio do oba trofeja, nove duple krune. Uzeo je Mario prvo Kup Grčke, a nakon toga i najvažniji naslov – prvaka Grčke.

Povratkom u Europu vratio se i u dres reprezentacije. Uz Bojana Bogdanovića bio naš najbolji igrač.
