Jedan od najvećih i najpoznatijih hrvatski generala,Ante Gotovina, danas slavi rođendan. Rođen je na otoku Pašmanu 1955. godine, a u četvrtoj godini ostaje bez majke.

Tužno djetinjstvo

Njegovi biografi tvrde da mu je majka preminula tijelom štiteći djecu od eksplozije mine koja je trebala slomiti kamen. Nakon tragedije Antin otac Milan seli se s obitelji u Pakoštane i odlazi na rad u Zagreb, dok o malom Anti brigu vodi teta Marija Miočev.

Ante je najprije radio kao mornar, a onda se prijavio u Legiju stranaca. Mladog Gotovinu danima su testirali, te su mu u 18. godini priopćili da je postao legionar. Borio se od Gvatemale, Čada, Paragvaja, Brazila, Kolumbije, a u legiji je bio od 1. veljače 1973. do 1. veljače 1978. i stekao je čin starijeg razvodnika.

Kada je u Hrvatskoj počeo rat, Gotovina se vratio u domovinu, a njegovi talenti brzo su prepoznati pa je 1995. godine dogurao do čina generala pukovnika.

Pet godina kasnije umirovljen je s još 11 drugih generala, a molbe iz Haaga da se Gotovina uhiti postale su sve glasnije. Napravio je lažnu putovnicu pa pobjegao, a vijesti o tome da je viđen stizale su iz raznih dijelova svijeta.

Povukao se iz javnosti

Uhićen je 2005. godine na Tenerifima i samo tri dana kasnije prebačen u Haag.

O njegovom životu snimljen je i film Antuna Vrdoljaka naziva „General“, a javnost je uvijek zanimao i njegov privatni život o kojem je Gotovina malo govorio.

Nakon povratka iz Haaga, povlači se iz oka javnosti i postaje poslovni čovjek koji se bavi uzgojem tune u okolici Zadra.U Dalmaciji i dalje živi i radi sa suprugom Dunjom.

Jedan od najvećih i najpoznatijih hrvatski generala,Ante Gotovina, danas slavi rođendan. Rođen je na otoku Pašmanu 1955. godine, a u četvrtoj godini ostaje bez majke.

Tužno djetinjstvo

Njegovi biografi tvrde da mu je majka preminula tijelom štiteći djecu od eksplozije mine koja je trebala slomiti kamen. Nakon tragedije Antin otac Milan seli se s obitelji u Pakoštane i odlazi na rad u Zagreb, dok o malom Anti brigu vodi teta Marija Miočev.

Ante je najprije radio kao mornar, a onda se prijavio u Legiju stranaca. Mladog Gotovinu danima su testirali, te su mu u 18. godini priopćili da je postao legionar. Borio se od Gvatemale, Čada, Paragvaja, Brazila, Kolumbije, a u legiji je bio od 1. veljače 1973. do 1. veljače 1978. i stekao je čin starijeg razvodnika.

Kada je u Hrvatskoj počeo rat, Gotovina se vratio u domovinu, a njegovi talenti brzo su prepoznati pa je 1995. godine dogurao do čina generala pukovnika.

U Kninu za 25. obljetnicu

Pet godina kasnije umirovljen je s još 11 drugih generala, a molbe iz Haaga da se Gotovina uhiti postale su sve glasnije. Napravio je lažnu putovnicu pa pobjegao, a vijesti o tome da je viđen stizale su iz raznih dijelova svijeta.

Povukao se iz javnosti

Uhićen je 2005. godine na Tenerifima i samo tri dana kasnije prebačen u Haag.

O njegovom životu snimljen je i film Antuna Vrdoljaka naziva „General“, a javnost je uvijek zanimao i njegov privatni život o kojem je Gotovina malo govorio.

Nakon povratka iz Haaga, povlači se iz oka javnosti i postaje poslovni čovjek koji se bavi uzgojem tune u okolici Zadra.U Dalmaciji i dalje živi i radi sa suprugom Dunjom.
