Sanjati i pritom ne strepjeti hoće li ti se ostvariti priča o drugoj pobjedi u finalnoj seriji protiv Splita, Zadru se posve ostvarilo. Napravili su ono o čemu se " glasno šaputalo" odmah iz one prve utakmice u kojoj su "žuti" bili posve neuvjerljivi. Ali su zbivanja naparketu, po meni očekivano krenula bitno drulčije, Split se opredjelo za tvrdu utakmicu, s tim da su ovoga puta imali daleko bolji šut. Računali su malo i "na mišiće", jer je Marin Marin Marić odlično iskoristio izostanak Chinanua Onuakua koji je zbog osobnih morao na mirovanje.

Ali, to nije bilo dovoljno, jer je Zadar ponovno imao raznovrsniji napad, posebice se to odnosi na drugo poluvrijeme, nakon onih oskudnih 28:28 u prvih dvadeset minuta! Nadalje, Zadar je u dva navrata bolje otvorio od suparnika i tako uhvatio ritam kojeg je teško moglo pratiti. Svaki, baš svaki splitski korak naprijed bio je zapravo nagovještaj kako slijedi novi nalet Zadra. Dirigent u pravom smislu riječi bijaše Dominik Mavra, koji se ukazivao uvijek kad je bilo najpotrebnije.

Mijenjali su se i čuvari na njemu, ali ni to nije pomoglo, kapetan je čvrsto držao kormilo u rukama. I ne samo to, nego je pronalazio način kako ubaciti dovoljno poena kojima se Split držalo na rezultatskom odstojanju! Opet je Zadar iskazao i skakačku dominaciju, Domagoj Vuković i Aleksandar Bursać po devet, dok je Chinanu Onuaku bio na svojih sedam. Onuaku je uspio zadržati i mirnoću, odnosno, Veljko Mršić mu je odlično dozirao vrijeme provedeno na parketu!

Dotaknemo li se Splitova učinka onda se dosta toga može iščitati kroz brojke kapetana Roka Ukića koji je iz osam pokušao pogodio svega jednom za dva, dok mu je šuta za tri poena glasio šest puta i ništa. Još prije početka utakmice upravo je Ukić onako sportski kazao: "Možemo izgubiti, nije problem, ali ne onako kao zadnji put"! I time je sve rečeno kad se baci pogled na neke sekvence u igri gostiju koji su znali puhati za vrah, ali kratkoga daha!

IZJAVE 

Veljko Mršić, trener Zadra:

- Napravili smo ono što smo željeli, došli do 2:0, ali još ništa nije gotovo. Treba odigratu tu treću utakmicu koja često zna biti najteža. Možda nam upozorenje treba biti i nedavno finale u vaterpolu, Jug je imao isto dva prema nula ,ali nije bilo od korsti. Utakmica je po meni bila s više emocija nego prvi susret, međutim, mi smo uspjeli iskontrolirati svoju igru kao i igru suparnika.I cijelo vrijem čvrstom obranom ih lomili sve do konačnih petnaest viška. Mislim da možemo još bolje odigrati u Splitu, jer smo ih u dvje utakmice zadržali ispod 60 poena. Nadam se da će tako biti i na Gripama!

- Bila je tvrda utakmica kako dolikuje finalu! U prvom poluvremenu smo imali prigodu odvojiti se na bolju razliku, međutim, zbog tehničko taktičkih pogrešaka nismo uspjeli. Zadar je bolje ušao u nastavak utakmice , odnosno, drugo poluvrijeme i odmah se odvojio, nakon toga se dogodilo ono što se dogodilo. Imamo li vjere u povratak u Zadar? Imamo, čak da su na drugoj strani Lakersi, možemo se vratiti . Nama je potreba ta jedna utakmica da se sve okrene, odnosno, dobijemo li treću možemo i četvrtu. Vjerujte ni Zadar se ne želi vratiti kući, jer ako bude peta utakmica onda će Zadar imati pune gaće! 

Odmah po završetku utakmice ispred dvorane Krešimir Ćosić stiglo je  dvjestotinjak navijača Zadra koji su pjesmo i balkljadom proslavili pobjedu Zadra. I onda su na "bis" pozvali igrače koji su s njima proslavili drugu iznimno važnu pobjedu.

Napravili su ono o čemu se " glasno šaputalo" odmah iz one prve utakmice u kojoj su "žuti" bili posve neuvjerljivi. Ali su zbivanja naparketu, po meni očekivano krenula bitno drulčije, Split se opredjelo za tvrdu utakmicu, s tim da su ovoga puta imali daleko bolji šut. Računali su malo i "na mišiće", jer je Marin Marin Marić odlično iskoristio izostanak Chinanua Onuakua koji je zbog osobnih morao na mirovanje.

Ali, to nije bilo dovoljno, jer je Zadar ponovno imao raznovrsniji napad, posebice se to odnosi na drugo poluvrijeme, nakon onih oskudnih 28:28 u prvih dvadeset minuta! Nadalje, Zadar je u dva navrata bolje otvorio od suparnika i tako uhvatio ritam kojeg je teško moglo pratiti. Svaki, baš svaki splitski korak naprijed bio je zapravo nagovještaj kako slijedi novi nalet Zadra. Dirigent u pravom smislu riječi bijaše Dominik Mavra, koji se ukazivao uvijek kad je bilo najpotrebnije.

Mijenjali su se i čuvari na njemu, ali ni to nije pomoglo, kapetan je čvrsto držao kormilo u rukama. I ne samo to, nego je pronalazio način kako ubaciti dovoljno poena kojima se Split držalo na rezultatskom odstojanju! Opet je Zadar iskazao i skakačku dominaciju, Domagoj Vuković i Aleksandar Bursać po devet, dok je Chinanu Onuaku bio na svojih sedam. Onuaku je uspio zadržati i mirnoću, odnosno, Veljko Mršić mu je odlično dozirao vrijeme provedeno na parketu!

Dotaknemo li se Splitova učinka onda se dosta toga može iščitati kroz brojke kapetana Roka Ukića koji je iz osam pokušao pogodio svega jednom za dva, dok mu je šuta za tri poena glasio šest puta i ništa. Još prije početka utakmice upravo je Ukić onako sportski kazao: "Možemo izgubiti, nije problem, ali ne onako kao zadnji put"! I time je sve rečeno kad se baci pogled na neke sekvence u igri gostiju koji su znali puhati za vrah, ali kratkoga daha!

IZJAVE 

Veljko Mršić, trener Zadra:

- Napravili smo ono što smo željeli, došli do 2:0, ali još ništa nije gotovo. Treba odigratu tu treću utakmicu koja često zna biti najteža. Možda nam upozorenje treba biti i nedavno finale u vaterpolu, Jug je imao isto dva prema nula ,ali nije bilo od korsti. Utakmica je po meni bila s više emocija nego prvi susret, međutim, mi smo uspjeli iskontrolirati svoju igru kao i igru suparnika.I cijelo vrijem čvrstom obranom ih lomili sve do konačnih petnaest viška. Mislim da možemo još bolje odigrati u Splitu, jer smo ih u dvje utakmice zadržali ispod 60 poena. Nadam se da će tako biti i na Gripama!

- Bila je tvrda utakmica kako dolikuje finalu! U prvom poluvremenu smo imali prigodu odvojiti se na bolju razliku, međutim, zbog tehničko taktičkih pogrešaka nismo uspjeli. Zadar je bolje ušao u nastavak utakmice , odnosno, drugo poluvrijeme i odmah se odvojio, nakon toga se dogodilo ono što se dogodilo. Imamo li vjere u povratak u Zadar? Imamo, čak da su na drugoj strani Lakersi, možemo se vratiti . Nama je potreba ta jedna utakmica da se sve okrene, odnosno, dobijemo li treću možemo i četvrtu. Vjerujte ni Zadar se ne želi vratiti kući, jer ako bude peta utakmica onda će Zadar imati pune gaće! 

Odmah po završetku utakmice ispred dvorane Krešimir Ćosić stiglo je  dvjestotinjak navijača Zadra koji su pjesmo i balkljadom proslavili pobjedu Zadra. I onda su na "bis" pozvali igrače koji su s njima proslavili drugu iznimno važnu pobjedu.
