Nakon smrti srednjovječnog muškarca iz Jelse koji je, kako doznajemo iz Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske, smrtno stradao u požaru koji je danas rano poslijepodne izbio između Vrbanja i Dola na otoku Hvaru, bit će obavljen očevid i druge potrebne radnje da bi se utvrdile sve okolnosti tragedije.

Prema neslužbenim informacijama, on i njegov sin su išli spašavati bager od vatrene buktinje, ali je nakon toga došlo do neželjenog ishoda.

- U gašenju požara je sudjelovalo oko 60 gasitelja s dvadesetak specijalnih vozila. Budući da je vatrena stihija nošena tramontanom u jednom trenutku zaprijetila i kućama u Vrbanju u gašenje su se uključila tri kanadera, da bi na posljetku na terenu ostala dva.

Zbog gustog dima poprilično je teško procijenjivati posjedice, ali moglo bi biti opožareno i do 10 hektara šumskog zemljišta – kazao je Antoni Ivanković, zapovjednik Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva "Stari Grad".

Objekti u ovom požaru nisu nastradali. Policajci još uvijek radie na utvrđivanju uzroka i načina izazivanja požara, a budući da ga gasitelji unatoč svim naporima do 17.30 sati nisu uspjeli lokalizirati, hvarski vatrogasci će očito cijelu noć probdjeti čuvajući požarište da bi koliko je god to moguće spriječili širenje vatre na okolno područje.

Zanimljivo je da je u DVD-u "Jelsa", oko 13.40 sati, također zaprimljena obavijest o šumskom požaru između mjesta Zastražišće i Gdinj na istočnom kraju otoka Hvara, ali se ta informacija na svu sreću pokazala netočnom.

Nakon smrti srednjovječnog muškarca iz Jelse koji je, kako doznajemo iz Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske, smrtno stradao u požaru koji je danas rano poslijepodne izbio između Vrbanja i Dola na otoku Hvaru, bit će obavljen očevid i druge potrebne radnje da bi se utvrdile sve okolnosti tragedije.

Prema neslužbenim informacijama, on i njegov sin su išli spašavati bager od vatrene buktinje, ali je nakon toga došlo do neželjenog ishoda.

- U gašenju požara je sudjelovalo oko 60 gasitelja s dvadesetak specijalnih vozila. Budući da je vatrena stihija nošena tramontanom u jednom trenutku zaprijetila i kućama u Vrbanju u gašenje su se uključila tri kanadera, da bi na posljetku na terenu ostala dva.

Zbog gustog dima poprilično je teško procijenjivati posjedice, ali moglo bi biti opožareno i do 10 hektara šumskog zemljišta – kazao je Antoni Ivanković, zapovjednik Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva "Stari Grad".

Objekti u ovom požaru nisu nastradali. Policajci još uvijek radie na utvrđivanju uzroka i načina izazivanja požara, a budući da ga gasitelji unatoč svim naporima do 17.30 sati nisu uspjeli lokalizirati, hvarski vatrogasci će očito cijelu noć probdjeti čuvajući požarište da bi koliko je god to moguće spriječili širenje vatre na okolno područje.

Zanimljivo je da je u DVD-u "Jelsa", oko 13.40 sati, također zaprimljena obavijest o šumskom požaru između mjesta Zastražišće i Gdinj na istočnom kraju otoka Hvara, ali se ta informacija na svu sreću pokazala netočnom.

U hvarskoj tragediji stradalo i 10-ak hektara šume, ali vatrogasci su se osim s vatrenom stihijom morali boriti i s - lažnim dojavama...

Nakon smrti srednjovječnog muškarca iz Jelse koji je, kako doznajemo iz Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske, smrtno stradao u požaru koji je danas rano poslijepodne izbio između Vrbanja i Dola na otoku Hvaru, bit će obavljen očevid i druge potrebne radnje da bi se utvrdile sve okolnosti tragedije.

Prema neslužbenim informacijama, on i njegov sin su išli spašavati bager od vatrene buktinje, ali je nakon toga došlo do neželjenog ishoda.

- U gašenju požara je sudjelovalo oko 60 gasitelja s dvadesetak specijalnih vozila. Budući da je vatrena stihija nošena tramontanom u jednom trenutku zaprijetila i kućama u Vrbanju u gašenje su se uključila tri kanadera, da bi na posljetku na terenu ostala dva.

Zbog gustog dima poprilično je teško procijenjivati posjedice, ali moglo bi biti opožareno i do 10 hektara šumskog zemljišta – kazao je Antoni Ivanković, zapovjednik Dobrovoljnog vatrogasnog društva "Stari Grad".

Objekti u ovom požaru nisu nastradali. Policajci još uvijek radie na utvrđivanju uzroka i načina izazivanja požara, a budući da ga gasitelji unatoč svim naporima do 17.30 sati nisu uspjeli lokalizirati, hvarski vatrogasci će očito cijelu noć probdjeti čuvajući požarište da bi koliko je god to moguće spriječili širenje vatre na okolno područje.

Zanimljivo je da je u DVD-u "Jelsa", oko 13.40 sati, također zaprimljena obavijest o šumskom požaru između mjesta Zastražišće i Gdinj na istočnom kraju otoka Hvara, ali se ta informacija na svu sreću pokazala netočnom.
