Jedan od najtragičnijih događaja u povijesti Preka i otoka Ugljana – stradanje 16 lavandijera – obilježen je i ove godine na Dušni dan, 2. studenoga, pišu Naši školji.

Nesreća se dogodila prije 132 godine u 7 sati, kada se brod u olujnom nevremenu prevrnuo i potonuo na dubinu od tri metra pokraj Školjića. Od 31 putnika, sedmorice muškaraca i 24 žene, stradale su one lavandijere koje su pod palubom štitile rublje zadarskih imućnih obitelji po koje su odlazile u ponedjeljak, a opranu i izglačanu robu vlasnicima su vraćale subotom brodovima na jedra ili vesla.

Sjećanje na te požrtvovne žene obilježeno je puštanjem u more 132 papirnata lampiona koje su oslikali učenici OŠ Valentina Klarina, mališani iz Dječjeg vrtića Lastavica i polaznici likovne radionice Mala sirena, a molitvu pokraj spomen-obilježja u Vrulji predvodio je fra Andrija Štajduhar.

U čast svim priješkim ženama i lavandijerama, mjesni kipar Anselmo Dorkin na Vrulji u središtu Preka podigao je spomen-obilježje “Naša mati”. Posvetu stradalim ženama napisao je i Stjepan Benzon, čije je stihove za pjesmu “Šesnaest lavandijera” 1968. godine uglazbio Ivica Stamać i otpjevao Vice Vukov. Slikar Milan Generalić iz Hlebina naslikao je sliku “Lavandijere” u tehnici freske.

Godine 1991. glazbeno-scensko djelo “Rekvijem za 16 lavandijera” napisali su Slavko Govorčin i Ivo Nižić, a fotomonografiju “Umorne ruke” vrijednim priješkim ženama darovao je i pokojni fotograf Senko Sorić.

Akademska slikarica Manuela Vladić-Maštruko priješkim je lavandijerama prije dvije godine posvetila knjigu/slikovnicu i izložbu “Male ribice lavandijerice”.

Jedan od najtragičnijih događaja u povijesti Preka i otoka Ugljana – stradanje 16 lavandijera – obilježen je i ove godine na Dušni dan, 2. studenoga, pišu Naši školji.

Nesreća se dogodila prije 132 godine u 7 sati, kada se brod u olujnom nevremenu prevrnuo i potonuo na dubinu od tri metra pokraj Školjića. Od 31 putnika, sedmorice muškaraca i 24 žene, stradale su one lavandijere koje su pod palubom štitile rublje zadarskih imućnih obitelji po koje su odlazile u ponedjeljak, a opranu i izglačanu robu vlasnicima su vraćale subotom brodovima na jedra ili vesla.

Sjećanje na te požrtvovne žene obilježeno je puštanjem u more 132 papirnata lampiona koje su oslikali učenici OŠ Valentina Klarina, mališani iz Dječjeg vrtića Lastavica i polaznici likovne radionice Mala sirena, a molitvu pokraj spomen-obilježja u Vrulji predvodio je fra Andrija Štajduhar.

U čast svim priješkim ženama i lavandijerama, mjesni kipar Anselmo Dorkin na Vrulji u središtu Preka podigao je spomen-obilježje “Naša mati”. Posvetu stradalim ženama napisao je i Stjepan Benzon, čije je stihove za pjesmu “Šesnaest lavandijera” 1968. godine uglazbio Ivica Stamać i otpjevao Vice Vukov. Slikar Milan Generalić iz Hlebina naslikao je sliku “Lavandijere” u tehnici freske.

Godine 1991. glazbeno-scensko djelo “Rekvijem za 16 lavandijera” napisali su Slavko Govorčin i Ivo Nižić, a fotomonografiju “Umorne ruke” vrijednim priješkim ženama darovao je i pokojni fotograf Senko Sorić.

Akademska slikarica Manuela Vladić-Maštruko priješkim je lavandijerama prije dvije godine posvetila knjigu/slikovnicu i izložbu “Male ribice lavandijerice”.

Prečani obilježili 132. godišnjicu stradanja 16 lavandijera

Jedan od najtragičnijih događaja u povijesti Preka i otoka Ugljana – stradanje 16 lavandijera – obilježen je i ove godine na Dušni dan, 2. studenoga, pišu Naši školji.

Nesreća se dogodila prije 132 godine u 7 sati, kada se brod u olujnom nevremenu prevrnuo i potonuo na dubinu od tri metra pokraj Školjića. Od 31 putnika, sedmorice muškaraca i 24 žene, stradale su one lavandijere koje su pod palubom štitile rublje zadarskih imućnih obitelji po koje su odlazile u ponedjeljak, a opranu i izglačanu robu vlasnicima su vraćale subotom brodovima na jedra ili vesla.

Sjećanje na te požrtvovne žene obilježeno je puštanjem u more 132 papirnata lampiona koje su oslikali učenici OŠ Valentina Klarina, mališani iz Dječjeg vrtića Lastavica i polaznici likovne radionice Mala sirena, a molitvu pokraj spomen-obilježja u Vrulji predvodio je fra Andrija Štajduhar.

U čast svim priješkim ženama i lavandijerama, mjesni kipar Anselmo Dorkin na Vrulji u središtu Preka podigao je spomen-obilježje “Naša mati”. Posvetu stradalim ženama napisao je i Stjepan Benzon, čije je stihove za pjesmu “Šesnaest lavandijera” 1968. godine uglazbio Ivica Stamać i otpjevao Vice Vukov. Slikar Milan Generalić iz Hlebina naslikao je sliku “Lavandijere” u tehnici freske.

Godine 1991. glazbeno-scensko djelo “Rekvijem za 16 lavandijera” napisali su Slavko Govorčin i Ivo Nižić, a fotomonografiju “Umorne ruke” vrijednim priješkim ženama darovao je i pokojni fotograf Senko Sorić.

Akademska slikarica Manuela Vladić-Maštruko priješkim je lavandijerama prije dvije godine posvetila knjigu/slikovnicu i izložbu “Male ribice lavandijerice”.

Matija Babin, Jakova Dorkin, Ivana Dorkin, Luce Dorkin, Tomica Dorkin, Tonina Dorkin, Gašpa Jurin, Bara Jurin, Ivana Lovrić, Šimica Lovrić, Matija Markulin, Matija Martinov, Stoša Mašina, Gašpa Matacin, Tomica Matacin i Kate Mazić – zauvijek će živjeti u srcima i sjećanjima prijeških obitelji.
