Slavonski zlatovez, paška čipka ili predmeti od bračkog kamena od iduće će godine moći dobiti oznaku o zaštiti podrijetla na razini Europske unije. Europski parlament, naime, u utorak je većinom glasova usvojio novu Direktivu o zaštiti podrijetla nepoljoprivrednih proizvoda, pri čemu su usvojeni i amandmani hrvatske eurozastupnice Biljane Borzan, kojima bi se procedura stjecanja EU oznake porijekla trebala pojednostavniti, čime će se malim obrtnicima olakšati proces stjecanja oznake.
- Europska unija već ima ujednačen sustav zaštite podrijetla poljoprivrednih proizvoda, a zadnji takav proizvod koji smo zaštitili jest varaždinsko bučino ulje. Još od 2015. govorim kako takav sustav treba uvesti i za nepoljoprivredne proizvode kako bi EU oznaku nosili i brački kamen, paška čipka ili slavonski zlatovez. Nakon bezbroj amandmana, prezentacija naših autohtonih proizvoda u Bruxellesu i Strasbourgu, ta ideja danas postaje stvarnost – kazala je Borzan nakon usvajanja Direktive, koja bi trebala pomoći porastu vidljivosti preko 800 autohtonih proizvoda. Također, procjenjuje se kako će se ovaj sustav stvoriti oko 330 tisuća radnih mjesta, ponajprije u siromašnijim regijama Europe, dok se očekuje i povećanje trgovinske razmjene unutar EU do 50 milijardi eura.
- Ključno je da procedura stjecanja oznake bude jednostavna za male obrtnike, a oznaka će im pomoći da se istaknu na tržištu. Naime, nerijetko mi se žale kako na tržištu ima jako puno krivotvorina, ponajprije iz Azije. Čak 57,4 posto proizvođača je prijavilo velike probleme i gubitke zbog zloupotrebe njihove trenutačne oznake zemljopisnog podrijetla koja je različita za većinu država članica. Samo na sporove s prevarantima troše 40 posto prihoda. Litavska industrija lanenog tekstila se primjerice potpuno ugasila zbog krivotvorina – rekla je Borzan.

Slavonski zlatovez, paška čipka ili predmeti od bračkog kamena od iduće će godine moći dobiti oznaku o zaštiti podrijetla na razini Europske unije. Europski parlament, naime, u utorak je većinom glasova usvojio novu Direktivu o zaštiti podrijetla nepoljoprivrednih proizvoda, pri čemu su usvojeni i amandmani hrvatske eurozastupnice Biljane Borzan, kojima bi se procedura stjecanja EU oznake porijekla trebala pojednostavniti, čime će se malim obrtnicima olakšati proces stjecanja oznake.
- Europska unija već ima ujednačen sustav zaštite podrijetla poljoprivrednih proizvoda, a zadnji takav proizvod koji smo zaštitili jest varaždinsko bučino ulje. Još od 2015. govorim kako takav sustav treba uvesti i za nepoljoprivredne proizvode kako bi EU oznaku nosili i brački kamen, paška čipka ili slavonski zlatovez. Nakon bezbroj amandmana, prezentacija naših autohtonih proizvoda u Bruxellesu i Strasbourgu, ta ideja danas postaje stvarnost – kazala je Borzan nakon usvajanja Direktive, koja bi trebala pomoći porastu vidljivosti preko 800 autohtonih proizvoda. Također, procjenjuje se kako će se ovaj sustav stvoriti oko 330 tisuća radnih mjesta, ponajprije u siromašnijim regijama Europe, dok se očekuje i povećanje trgovinske razmjene unutar EU do 50 milijardi eura.
- Ključno je da procedura stjecanja oznake bude jednostavna za male obrtnike, a oznaka će im pomoći da se istaknu na tržištu. Naime, nerijetko mi se žale kako na tržištu ima jako puno krivotvorina, ponajprije iz Azije. Čak 57,4 posto proizvođača je prijavilo velike probleme i gubitke zbog zloupotrebe njihove trenutačne oznake zemljopisnog podrijetla koja je različita za većinu država članica. Samo na sporove s prevarantima troše 40 posto prihoda. Litavska industrija lanenog tekstila se primjerice potpuno ugasila zbog krivotvorina – rekla je Borzan.
